You sometimes question when you take out extra insurance during a vehicle purchase - is it actually worth it? but having had the need to make a claim and how easy and effortless it was dealing with Ingeni i can say for once - it was worth it.
Claim was handle quickly, phone was answered immediately (that's a good sign to start off with), forms received immediately and once i put the claim in it was accepted within 24hrs.
was there a lot of info to pass on - yes - but that's the nature of the game - was it easy to complete - yes.

The team were fantastic completely professional. Clear communication and responsive. My main insurer Sabre made me feel like a problem rather than a victim of theft. The contrast was stark and as described bed by others. Oscar in particular understood, helped and advocated on my behalf. He was timely and fair. Its just as it should be. I would and do recommend them to everyone.

Once I realised I had taken out gap insurance, I phoned Ingeni who confirmed that it was valid to make a claim. Although the information they required me to send was onerous, it was very comprehensive and made me sit down and really think about the events in my accident. They kept me informed every step of the way, and even emailed me when the final amount was transferred to my bank.

Ashraf was great at explaining the process and how things worked with my GAP insurance. I was not pressured into purchasing GAP insurance, he just told about the product and left me to decide on if I wanted it or not, which was a massive difference to previous experiences with other providers.

Ashraf, what a nice guy, explained to me the GAP insurance and helped me to purchase a product that is suitable for the vehicle that I am purchasing on Saturday 4th October, he called me back as promised as I could not complete the call and the filling in of information to complete my application, also to take payment, as I was out walking my dog, Thank You ASH for making time to call me back.
