Found a Bolt in My Protein… Here’s Why I’m Staying.

I had an unexpected issue where I found a metal bolt in one of my protein bags. Naturally, that was concerning but what really matters to me is how a company responds when something goes wrong and these guys really stepped up.

Patrick and the team took it seriously straight away. They investigated the batch, explained exactly what happened, and put measures in place to ensure it couldn’t happen again. The communication was clear, honest, and professional the entire time.

They refunded my entire 5 bag order (even though only one bag was affected), sent out 3 additional bags, a bag of creatine, and even included a golden scoop. That level of ownership and customer care is rare.

Mistakes can happen in manufacturing, what matters is how a company responds. These guys stepped up, communicated clearly, and resolved everything professionally and quickly.

I’ll be continuing my subscription and supporting the brand. Massive respect to the team.

Tastes so good

Tastes so good! I tend to get sick of protein powders really quickly but I'm still looking forward to the vanilla each day after using it for a few weeks. Not sickly sweet either which is perfect

Truly vile

It’s honestly vile. I’ve tried so many brands of protein powder over the last 7 years. Almost all vegan. This has the worst taste of them all. It’s like drinking bean juice or aquafaba. I even tried adding banana and cacao and blending it, I’ve had it in a berry smoothie too. There’s something so repulsive about this and a savoury flavour I’m not able to cover.
Don’t waste your money. There are loads of other brands out there capable of making a non revolting vanilla protein powder.
On a positive note it’s very smooth. However the foam is extreme and doesn’t settle, which again, reminds me of aquafaba.

I REALLY wanted to like this but sadly…

I REALLY wanted to like this but sadly won't be purchasing this again. It promised more protein than my other vegan protein powders, but my rice-pea-powder mix has slightly more and more importantly is much heavier. Because the Pure Plant Protein powder is so light you need a massive amount to get your 20-30 grams of protein which results in a much bigger shake than I want to be drinking.

Update re the reply below: No I'm not confused. What I mean is not more grams, but I mean more mass/powder. Which means I need far more water/milk to turn it into a shake which turns the whole shake in this big portion I'm not willing to drink. Sorry!

HI Sabrina. You are confused because the bulk density of the faba bean protein is greater than that of pea protein blends. You arent technically using "more"

You mention using a massive amount extra than your pea blend, this isn't the case as if you weigh it, it just appears that way because Faba bean protein has a higher bulk density and takes up more space/is fluffier in texture. 1 scoop of pea mix might be 30g, but you will likely need 1.5 - 2 scoops of ours to get 30g. Its the same amount, it just appears to be more. Thats why our bags need to be much bigger in size to hold the same amount of protein

Hope this makes sense.

The product is an overall win

The product is an overall win. The chocolate and the vanilla are my top favourites. My daughter whom recently purchased the products in the bulk pack of three was absolutely thrilled with the value and the quality.
She, like I enjoy the taste and consistency. No grittiness or gag after taste. The delivery is promptly done which is excellent, and PPP have a very ready customer care presence on line too, and interact with their customers especially instagram. So you can always reach them in one way or another. And they respond.
I have been using the product for 6+months now and train 5-6 day per week. As a 42 year old mother and busy professional with autism I have to say this product works well for taste, consistency, texture, and top up when a good source of protein is needed say after training or before where protein priority for muscle growth and development is higher.
It complements my diverse whole food plant exclusive diet and my training

Repeat buyer, great product

Repeat buyer for unflavoured ppp, first time vanilla. PPP is easy to use, dissolve quickly, even in yogurt, and I prefer this taste over pea protein. The vanilla is a tad sweet but quite nice.

Ordering was easy

Ordering was easy, products came in good time. Good process.

The protein I tried in three flavours was not to my liking, not something I’d buy again.

Thanks.

Fabulous taste

Fabulous taste, super smooth, no grainy texture at all. I like all the flavours but I probably like vanilla the best and it’s so versatile in smoothies.

I love the taste of PPP's powders

I love the taste of PPP's powders, it's the first vegan protein powder I've liked & now use everyday. Everything else, including some MLM brands I've tried, tastes chalky to me. Their service is fabulous, delivery is quick, and if anything goes wrong the team is very fast in rectifying it.
