Untrustworthy company with questionable sales tactics.

It would be 0 stars if that was available. I was approached by a door to door salesman. The conversation was rushed but we had a problem with spiders and ants so I signed up.
They incorrectly wrote down my email so at no point did I ever receive a contract and at no point was it EVER explained that this was a recurring service with recurring charges.
After receiving phone calls from accounts receivable for an outstanding payment for a second visit I contacted the company. After giving them my correct email I did receive a contract and invoice but when I tried to cancel was told the cancellation fee was the amount of a service which was almost $300. Another point I might add is when I spoke with the sales agent he talked about mouse control. I have NEVER in over 20 years in my home had a problem with mice however it was included as a service on this so called contract against my wishes. The cost of their service is exorbitant considering each of their 2 visits lasted approximately 10 minutes.
This company uses under handed tactics to gain customers and should not be trusted.

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware! Be sure to read the contract on the iPad you are signing it on! Rest assured, the salesperson won't be telling you that you are indeed signing a 12-18 month contract. When you choose to cancel, you will be told that there is a $310 cancellation fee. But WAIT, there's more! If you choose to cancel your contract before the end date, not only will you be charged the $310 cancellation fee, but an additional $200 termination fee altogether with an additional sales tax for a total of $551.31 (amount may vary based on the sales tax for your zip code). So, before signing up for Insight Pest Control's service, think twice about it. You will be paying more than $800 for a one year service (my house is small as is the yard, your amount may be greater) and for services that are In other words, will likened to paying for snow removal in the middle of summer and lawn care in the middle of winter. The salesman is less than forthcoming and never once will mention a contract or the terms of the contract.
While their product application may be good, the lack of transparency and forthright communication needs attention.

We had our quarterly visit this week

We had our quarterly visit this week, and as usual I'm really pleased. Our technician, Mike Hurst, is a personable and professional individual. He goes the extra mile for us, in particular paying attention to those spaces we (older folks) can't reach to do ourselves at all. We rarely see any of the creepie crawlies in our home or even in our yard, a testament to how thorough Mike's attention to our property is. Keep sending him back, please.

Jax was my technician this afternoon. He went above and beyond. He went around my whole house and got rid of spider webs and wasp nests. He come to get rid of the bug problem we have been having for a while. Cockroach’s ants and other bugs. Thank you so much Jax for everything highly recommended

Stay away from Insight!

Stay away from Insight!

1) Sales person at door said no auto-renew (my condition of signing up). I believed him. Mistake. The office didn't care when I complained because they had it in writing. I guess I was gullible.

2) They said they could handle home moths. They couldn't. A couple of ineffective traps were provided a few times. The office didn't care when I complained.

3) The billed me for a service that they admitted was incomplete. Once again, when I escalated they did not care.

4) The cost for about 15 minutes a visit is ridiculously high given the ineffectiveness.

Seems to me to be a scam.

Ineffective Service and Significant Cancelation Fee

I signed up for services with this company earlier this year. A technician came and provided the first treatment which lasted less than 10 minutes. The treatment was ineffective (I still see a similar number of bugs) and it is now months later, so I called to cancel the services. I was told that there must be a minimum of one year worth of quarterly treatments or there would be a cancelation fee of $200. The salespersons don't tell you this when you sign up which is very misleading and deceiving. They sell it as you having the flexibility to cancel whenever you want, but this is not true unless you pay a hefty fee. Stay away from this company at all costs!

Don’t waste your time

Don’t waste your time. It’s a scam. They will be in neighborhoods selling with no permits required, breach the contract by cancelling your services from someone not even on the contract, and gas light you into their free tria as a one year contract with a $400 cancellation fee.

Avoid at all cost

After they squirting a sponge mop they proceeded to go around house wiping down webs.
Very very large home...and a couple squirts of some kinda eco friendly insect killer.
Webs back withn 2 days.
Tried contacting to no avail.
THEN FINALLY CONTACTED A HUMAN....from Guatemala.
Had to put a no trespass restriction notice on this company and all employees.
They've the gall to say at this point I've a $150 balance.
I've requested my $250 back as I was sold a bill of goods on false pretense.....No good company.

Extremely Disappointed!!

We hired this company for pest control with the promise of a wasp and spider-free home. They completely failed to hold up their end. Despite multiple visits and assurances that the problem was handled, I ended up being stung twice by wasps, the first time in over 30 years. Our house is also still covered in spiders, even though their service was supposed to prevent that.

When I called to cancel, they still tried to charge us even though their treatment clearly didn’t work. Paying for something that didn’t deliver on its promises is not acceptable.

I would not recommend this company. Poor results, poor accountability, and zero customer care when it comes to standing behind their work.

And will keep on charging you and will Send you Random text we are such and such Lawyers. You have to make the payment.

AVOID Insight Pest Solutions - Complete Scam

We’ve been extremely dissatisfied with Insight Pest Solutions and would not recommend their services.

When their salesperson first came to our home, he said all our neighbours were using them and promised a “full house treatment,” “cancel anytime,” and a “money-back guarantee, no strings attached.” Unfortunately, none of those claims turned out to be true.

From day one, the service we received was nothing like what was sold to us. Each visit consisted of a quick perimeter spray (something I could easily purchase myself for a fraction of the cost) and a few rodent traps that didn’t even work. Despite multiple treatments, we continued to find mice in and out of our home and saw no reduction in ants outside. We actually also saw a significant increase in wasp activity, something that wasn't prevalent before.

To make things worse, the few responses I did receive were generic, copy-paste replies that didn’t actually address my concerns. Despite following up multiple times, I was ultimately ignored. When I finally decided to cancel due to the poor results, I was suddenly told about a $250+tax cancellation fee, something the salesperson never mentioned. They also offered to send technicians for additional “follow-up” treatments, but those visits made no difference and the issues persisted.

I also had to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket to another pest company to deal with wasp nests that Insight’s treatments were supposed to prevent. There were several large wasp nests around the entire perimeter of the house, so clearly their products/services are completely useless. When I contacted Insight about it, they weren’t able to send anyone out for several days, even though we were on their plan and their products were supposed to prevent this issue in the first place. That company even explained how Insight operates, confirming my suspicions that their “comprehensive service” pitch was misleading.

And finally, they’ve made cancellation unnecessarily difficult, continuing to schedule service appointments without confirmation, sending technicians unannounced, and generally bothering us to keep the plan active.

Their technicians are careless and lazy, their products don’t work, and their customer service is completely unresponsive. The whole experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and feels like a scam.

Save yourself the headache and avoid Insight Pest Solutions.

The service itself is good

The service itself is good, but when I went to cancel it I was told I would be charged a fee as I signed up for a year. That was not told to me, in fact, when I signed up I was told I could cancel anytime, with no obligation. Regardless of any contract signed, your company needs to be more transparent and honest. I won’t recommend.

Buyer beware

The sales rep that sold us the service, said if we were not satisfied, we would get a full refund. Also told us no cancellation fees. We even have a text conversation saying we could get a refund if we weren’t satisfied. I thought what’s there to lose. Turns out your money. It did not work. Couldn’t even stay outside for a fire there was so many mosquitoes.When I called to cancel and ask for a refund,they refused.got transferred to a supervisor and left a message but never got a call back. I called a week later and the customer service rep saidthat the refund of my services had been approved and should expect a refund in the next week. No refund, so I called back and was told it hasn’t been passed off to a manager yet and one will call me. I called today and They said they called and left a message but there is no record on my phone. They also conveniently have no notes on my convo from Sept 2nd which said I would be refunded. I would have gave a 0 star. Be weary of their salesman over promising and lying
