Disorganised, chaotic and stressful
Terrible customer service, no contact from solicitors, constantly changing the person managing my account. Sale very nearly fell through, and was only able to salvage it by agreeing to a whole bunch of restrictive covenants that I wanted disputing if it weren't for their incompetence. When I complained I simply got a 2 line response from their CEO saying I was welcome to take my business elsewhere. They sucked
Poor Service
If I could score a zero, that is what this firm would receive. They we're recommended to perform conveyancing duties, but after 1 month ended up dropping my case because of internal issues. Even when they were managing this case there was poor communication and lack of updates on the status of the case. I believe this was because they had not actually done anything. They have taken on this case without proper planning and having the right level of resource available. They have wasted my time and delayed the process of transferring my property. The lack of professionalism shown is disappointing.
They do not even deserve 1 star
They do not even deserve 1 star! Partner has been trying to buy a shared owner ship and was referred to Inspire. This was March, we are now in September, he has spoken to various different people in the Inspire company, who most, haven't a clue what they were doing. He finally got a call from them 2 weeks ago and an exchange date was agreed. However 24 hours after that call, he received another to say they were going bust, putting the exchange date on hold. Now he's had to appoint a whole new company and start the whole process again ...which has already taken 7 months and he may lose the sale of the property.
And he can't get hold on Inspire to request them to transfer files to the new firm...and they close on Friday.
Absolutely disgusting behavior, playing with peoples finances and lives. Selling and buying a property is always stressful, but Inspire have made the situation worse.
One star is one too many
One star is one too many.
Should never have taken on our file knowing that they were not in a position to complete the transaction.
The closure of the company was welcome news so tgat no one else suffers like we did.
Watch out for the owners name as they tend to come back in disguise under a new company.
Good communication but not reliable
I was refered to these through Homes Legal Direct a legal broker to do a sale and purchase conveyancing, my initial purchase fell through due to survey issues and when I placed an offer on my second property Inspire could not deal with the purchase as my lender was not on their list of lenders they deal with. I therefore had to appoint a seporate Conveyancer. However then my sale fell through due to a break in the chain and all action had to be placed on hold until now when my buyer has come back to me with a lower offer, however Inspire have sent an email now stating they can not handle my conveyancing as they appear to be going out of business. Correspondence by telephone was good but Homes Legal Direct whom appointed these for me do not appear to have a good track record of appointing reliable Conveyancers.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Poor communication, lack of responsiveness, duplication of work, which has inevitably led to their collapse today.
6 months for a cash purchase and today…
6 months for a cash purchase and today they have decided they don’t wish to progress with the conveyancing. Absolute joke of a company.
Absolutely useless
Absolutely useless, I had to move to a different firm! You have to keep chasing them, and they don’t have a clue as to what’s happening!
AVOID
Remember the Price Drives the Service Received
The price limits the service delivered. I have a had more than one sale complete in the last 12 months, none of them particularly complicated. Yes I received low cost conveyancing but I spent too much time chasing the parties myself and ultimately lost money because of poor communication (they only seem to email without detail) and because the cases took too long to get to completion.
When choosing a supplier I recommend you consider the following. Beware that many of the cheaper suppliers use people in training for most of the job only getting to a qualified person at the end of the process. If the qualified person (more expensive) worked on the case on day one the case would get closed a lot more quickly. Often low price suppliers have to have volume going through the business to make it pay and this can show for example sometimes it's a struggle to get phones answered. For security, a strong company will probably have a SRA registrant actually working in the office location. Check their accounts at Companies House. Ask for the name and contact details of the registered conveyancer responsible for the case and expect, to be able to get timely telephone updates from them.
I do transfer of Deed
I do transfer of Deed. It takes 2 months time and still not drafting the contract. Don’t know why. Later no response from case worker even email.

avoid Inspire Legal Group at all costs
My experience with Inspire Legal Group has been absolutely appalling.
They are supposed to be handling the sale of my property, which is an extremely urgent and stressful situation, yet communication has been virtually non-existent. Emails go unanswered, important matters are not followed up, and I have repeatedly had to chase them for updates.
I genuinely feel as though I have done most of the work myself. I have completed forms, provided information and answered questions, yet the same issues keep coming back because information does not appear to be getting passed on or dealt with properly.
What has made matters even worse is when I have phoned for help or clarification, I have been told they are “too busy” and on occasions the call has simply been ended. For a professional legal firm dealing with something as important as the sale of somebody’s home, I find that completely unacceptable.
The lack of urgency, communication and basic customer service has caused an enormous amount of additional stress at an already very difficult time.
I expected my solicitors to guide the process, chase outstanding matters, communicate with the other side and keep me informed. Instead, I have constantly had to chase them and try to move the sale forward myself.
Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend Inspire Legal Group. The service has been an absolute disgrace.
Having a pretty awful time trying to…
Having a pretty awful time trying to chase Eliza/Lisa/Rani who are unable to progress even the simplist of enquiries such that the buyer wishes to pull out due to time delays.
I am not allowed to speak with my conveyancer either!
The estate agent tells me he hasn't come across such incompetence in 20 years says it all.
I would avoid.
If i could give zero stars i would
If i could give zero stars i would. Where to begin with quite possibly the worst legal company…
No updates given, no progress made, phone 20 times and ‘maybe’ get answered and get basically fobbed off with excuses by someone who clearly dislikes her job, and clients. They’ve essentially taken my money and run. And i cant even use another legal firm as getting inspire to send over what they’ve done so far would be even harder to action.
Steer well clear
Getting Seriously Worried with Inspire Legal
I am currently using Inspire Legal Group to handle my house purchase, and at the moment I am becoming increasingly concerned about the level of communication and progress.
My purchase is a straightforward cash transaction with no chain, and no searches are required. The funds have already been confirmed. We are working towards exchanging contracts and completing on 28th August, so keeping things moving and having clear communication is extremely important.
Unfortunately, trying to speak directly with the conveyancing team has been very difficult. Calls are answered by call handlers, who are polite and say they will pass on messages and obtain updates, but I often do not receive the promised follow-up. Today I waited 28 minutes to get through and was told I would receive an email that afternoon, but I am still waiting.
I have also read a number of concerning reviews, and the lack of communication is starting to make me worry about whether my purchase is progressing as it should.
I want to make clear that I would much rather leave a positive review at the end of this process. My solicitor handling the sale of my current home has been excellent — responsive, proactive, and always keeping me updated — so I know how much difference good communication makes.
I hope someone from Inspire Legal Group can review my case, make contact with me, and provide reassurance that everything is on track for exchange and completion. I would genuinely like this to become a positive experience.
worst conveyancing company
This is the worst conveyancing company I have ever dealt with.
One of our property purchases, which should have taken around eight weeks, ended up taking almost six months. There were numerous issues that were not dealt with properly, and even six months after purchase , the Land Registry title had still not been finalised.
They are extremely difficult to contact. They rarely answer the phone, seldom respond to emails, and it often feels as though they do not even read the emails they receive.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this company and using a more reliable conveyancing solicitor instead.
Awful service and nonexistent communication
Avoid if you want your solicitors to actually inform you of what's going on or answer your questions.
Completely Changed My Opinion of Online Conveyancing
Like many people, I was initially very sceptical about using an online conveyancing solicitor. I’d heard all the usual warnings from various professionals in the estate agency industry – poor communication, difficulty getting hold of anyone, and endless delays. I’m delighted to say they proved every single one of those concerns completely unfounded.
We first used them to sell a property we had inherited, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. In fact, the only delays in the transaction were caused by the buyer’s high street solicitor, who regularly took days to respond to enquiries that our conveyancer was dealing with in a matter of hours. The contrast in efficiency and communication couldn’t have been clearer.
The experience was so positive that we’ve chosen to use them again for a subsequent property purchase. Although it’s still only in the early stages, the service has already been just as impressive, with the same proactive approach, excellent communication and swift progress that we experienced the first time.
A special mention must go to Charlotte Topham, whose professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail have been exceptional. She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with and is a real credit to the company.
I’d also like to thank Kayleigh, the firm’s Head of Conveyancing, whose leadership and customer-focused approach are clearly reflected throughout the team. It’s refreshing to deal with a company where such high standards are so consistently maintained.
This company has completely changed my perception of online conveyancing. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone and will gladly use them again in the future.
I am very very happy with Inspire…
I am very very happy with Inspire Legal, they did excellent and worked very hard for me in the sale of a flat. Inspire Legal are very professional, very polite and very helpful.
I am very very happy they got the sale completed for me.
Thank you very very much
Kind regards

Truly awful! Avoid.
Truly awful!
Inspire Legal were allocated to me by a broker. I had a flurry of emails including access to a portal within a day. I uploaded all documents and completed the necessary forms within 6 days. I also sent an email with additional documents and a number of queries. And then silence. After 3 weeks I asked the broker to request responses but nothing. After more pressure from the broker I finally received an email which was less than convincing. I responded and the following day sent another email - no response to either. Received an automated email stating the draft contract pack had been sent. 4 days later the buyers solicitor advised that this had not been received, so the broker got involved again and this was sent. However, it did not contain all documents that were available. These were requested to be sent - 4 days later still not sent. So I have now been assigned another solicitor firm.
Inspire Legal wasted more than 7 weeks. Failure to respond to emails requesting responses only left me with one conclusion and that this was intentional as I was making a fuss, and also highly unprofessional. The buying and selling process in this country is already stressful and when you get a solicitor like this, it adds unnecessary stress. If I could leave zero stars I would.
When the conveyancing was escalated to…
When the conveyancing was escalated to Kayleigh she stepped things up a couple of gear thankfully but before that it was very hard to get any communication with our lawyer. Receptionist was very good and seemed to want to help is she possibly could. I just feel the firm needs to have a bit of a rethink as to how it delivers on its offering as would not have been much extra effort for me to have been really happy.
