insta360 yes or no

I have been using insta360 for years and never regretted that decision! They make great cameras and have good customer service! They seem to listen to customer feedback and strive to improve with each update.

Took it on a portage trip

Took it on a portage trip. Water didn't get into anything and it kept recording mounted on the bow of the canoe. Works well enough for outdoorsy stuff. Durability-wise it's held up to what a weekend in the bush threw at it.

Terrible, AI-Driven Responses

Terrible, AI-driven, customer service. I purchased an SSD for my brand new X5 for an international vacation. Quickly during the trip, I found the SSD made no sense because I could not use it with other accessories. When I returned 3 weeks later, I processed a return and I was told I could not because it was a 15 day policy - not the hassle free return policy the site published. I was offered a $8 refund instead. What a passive aggressive insult. This company hates their users and I will not work with them on anything. This is a niche product, I wanted to try, but I learned my lesson and will go back to GoPro. They know who cares and will buy more from them. Insta does not care about you!

Excellent customer service

I had a very positive experience with Insta360 customer support. My issue was handled efficiently and resolved within a short time. Communication throughout the process was clear, professional, and responsive, and all questions were answered promptly.

The entire process, including shipping and support, was smooth and well organized. I particularly appreciated the friendly and courteous approach of the support team, as well as their follow-up to ensure everything had been resolved satisfactorily.

Overall, excellent customer service and a highly professional support experience.

It loses tracking

It loses tracking, which is annoying. When you leave it on the tripod, you have to reassemble it every time because it won't connect the next time you dock it.

Issues with app and selfie stick…

With issues back in February with the app and the new phone the team worked hard to resolve the app crashing and within 2 updates the 360 app with Google pixel 10 works very well with no crashing.
The recent problem with the selfie stick coming apart was resolved very quickly and a new one sent out.
Now back to making content for the socials.

Every one I've emailed I've had a quick response back even if it's just were on it email and get back to you with further updates.
Communication from insta team is above and beyond in my opinion and makes a great customer experience.

Well done, please keep up the great work.
