Insure My Van Reviews 

I’ve called them a couple of times and was met with a consistently poor attitude. The agents were quite rude — interrupting me mid-sentence while I was answering their questions, and showing zero interest in actually understanding the insurance situation. On top of that, their practices seem questionable. They listed someone as the main driver despite me clearly stating this person is the company owner and will not be driving the vehicle. That’s not just a mistake — it’s carelessness.

I’m gladly paying €200 more to go with an insurer I can actually trust.

Great service and open on Saturday which was very convenient. Dylan was prompt getting back to me and got a great price.

Spoke to a renewal agent at insuremyvan.ie and was given a quote. Agreed I'd proceed and call back one week later, they phoned during the week several times and I reiterated I'd renew on day before renewal date and confirmedthe premium again.

So it came to pay and was told it was a much higher amount of +22%, obviously I objected and asked them to check their records. They came back saying the quote excluded broker fee and apologised but said the higher amount was to be paid.

I declined and went elsewhere. They have no complaints procedure on their website, but I will find a way and if they don't recognise their mistake I'll take the matter to the insurance ombudsman.

Spent time filling in online quote form. I was told someone would contact me the next day. Never happened. Waited another few days and then sent an email. Was not answered. Waited another day -- but no answer. Obviously they do not want my custom or money. Fine -- move on to the next firm.

Had caddy up for renewal, price was up from previous years when challenged it came down a bit but still more than last year. was told by agent "that's the best price available in ireland" and she started getting snotty on phone. Within 5 mins I got better coverage and saved €130 on last year with quote devil.

Decent quote for my renewal and so I didn't feel I had to start shopping around! Something I always feel I need to do, when dealing with Irish insurance companies! Easy on-line renewal process also!

Got my renewal today..they say they shop around for cheapest quotes..my quote was for Tpft .I got 3 quotes from other companies fit fully comp at around 70 euro cheaper..rang insure my van to nearly been called a liar by the phone agent .I'm with insure my van 8 years but going with chill.ie now...

Running two refrigerated vans for the past 29 years and rang these folks for a quote. The goon on the other end asks if if the vehicle has been modified. I say yes, it has a refridgeration unit like thousands of others on the road. Say he'd need an "engineers report" before he would quote me!!! Bye Bye....

Useless, have two weeks since i paid for insurance and no disc and cert on sight yet. Give them a ring and asked what's the story and they "forgot" to send me an email with what documents i need to sign. So yesterday i recive that mail and send them the documents and now they are looking for more documents. They are expensive as well i paid 650 for a Vwt5 van and after i checked online with AXA and is 500 same insurance same company.

Really poor service. Given a quote then underwriters came back with additional request for more money. Total gangsters! Just ring insurance companies directly because this crowd are just out to gouge.

Filled out the online form. Have 12 years no claims. After a week I got a text stating the following

So I rang the number and the girl asked me 5 minutes of questions confirming everything all over again. At the very end she said we can't offer you insurance, the jeep is too old.

I was caught off guard. Between the text and the 30 questions I presumed they had a quote. What a waste of time. The insurance industry in Ireland are absolutely corrupt in my opinion. I have 6 vehicles and each time I try to get insurance it's a miserable time.

I have been with this company for 2 years sometimes find it hard to get any proper help from the customer service team but today i was on the phone to Ella Quinlan and she really went above and beyond in order to help me insuremyvan should give her a promotion she was so helpful

My partner did a quote online and paid the deposit for his van online, they didn’t say anything about the years no claims on the phone then literally 5 minutes later they rang him back and said they couldn’t insurance him because he couldn’t transfer his years no claims. But still CHARGED him £25 for an admin fee, he spoke to a manager and explained what had happened and ask for his deposit and the £25 pound back they wouldn’t give the £25 back. They are NOT professional at all, speak to you like an idiot. I would AVIOD this company!!!

Avoid

They were unable to complete renewal and impossible to get them to cancel policy despite numerous calls and e-mails, left with no insurance disk provided and no refund.

Response is not to take responsibility but to ask the customer to e-mail them again when previous e-mails have been ignored.

If customers are happy then the money will come as a result. Focus on the customer... how hard to be the best customer focused company would it be

Its my second year with Insuremyvan and if the service stays at the level I have been afforded by them then hopefully I will head into year three just as happy when it's time to renew my policy.

Went to renew my quote online because it was stated on my renewal letter that it was €20 cheaper. Filled out all relevant info online and paid the amount which was indeed €20 cheaper. Got no confirmation email but thought nothing of it. 2 weeks later and still no insurance disc had shown up so I rang in only to find out I apparently owed a €50 broker fee that must be paid before they post my disc. Why was there no mention of this on either the renewal form I received or online. Ridiculous.

I'm a Repeat customer so it's a good sign for the company to see customers coming back year after year
