A cornerstone of our business
Our purchasing operations would be as lean and agile as they are without Inventory Planner. It has become a cornerstone of our business, saving us many hours and ensuring we're always on top of our purchasing requirements. Recently, we had a query about how to deal with backorders and have solved this with the help of Teo and the team; we're confident Inventory Planner will remain a key part of our business for years to come. Where suppliers do not have a minimum spend or quantity we have automated the creation of our purchase orders. Where we need to meet a budget or a quantity we have vendor alerts that let us know it is time to order. This has significantly reduced the guesswork and workload, measurably increasing efficiency.

We subscribed to inventory planner and…
We subscribed to inventory planner and installed it alongside Brightpearl ERP. The implementation has been super smooth and the training provided by James Moore has been excellent and informative. Inventory Planner will help us grow, reducing stockholding costs, and reducing our overstocked products, would recommend to anyone and we will be using inventory planner for many years to come.

The onboarding training is very thorough and they are hyper focused on seeing you use the platform successfully. Our inventory planner is still in "data collection mode" but we are already starting to see PO recommendations and better forecasting.

Disappointing treatment
It is with a heavy heart that I am giving Inventory Planner a 1-star review.
We have been using Inventory Planner for over 4 years now and in that time we enjoyed all of the great features it had to offer. There is a lot of data to play with, and we finally set it up just the way we wanted.
Unfortunately, when our team inquired about negotiating a yearly contract (as opposed to the monthly payments we had set up through Shopify), we were shocked to be hit with a proposal over twice the price of our current subscription. As a loyal customer, this was the last thing we expected.
Once we realised we had been caught in a trap, it was too late. We discovered other reviews from customers that had experienced the same thing. If only we had seen these sooner.
If you are a new customer, and you are agree to the new pricing model, there shouldn't be any issues. But if you are a current customer and looking to review your pricing, please take note of what happened to us and avoid it at all costs!

Inventory Planner Review
Using Inventory Planner does take some getting used to, but once you get past the learning curve, it is a great tool! Our company uses this daily to create purchase orders and build products. Gives you a great overall look at your inventory and is very helpful with forecasting. Our company builds a lot of products where different components are ordered from multiple vendors. The assembly feature of inventory planner makes this process seamless and saves us so much time.
