Help with replen levels
Nathan was very helpful in helping us to rectify an issue we have recently come across whilst using inventory planner to replenish our stores from our central warehouse. He replied quickly with a solution and followed up to make sure the issue was fixed. Many thanks

Probably the best inventory planning…
Probably the best inventory planning software with AMAZING in-house support. So why only 4 stars?
1) Implementation is outsourced to a third-party company that lacks the expertise of the in-house team, and they charge a significant fee for it.
2) The software is complex, requiring a steep learning curve. It takes about 2-3 months to fully understand and set it up properly.
3) The upfront cost is high, but it saves significant time in the long run and will definitely pay off as revenue grows.
Despite the cons, the benefits ultimately outweigh the downsides for me.

Inventory Planner by Sage (IP) certainly can be a steep learning curve, and the set up required differs from company to company and then the complexity of their own workflows and processes.
I will be sure to pass on feedback to our in-house team in relation to your implementation experience, this is always useful to hear from a customer perspective.
Regarding your third point, yes, the cost depends on several factors. However, as you mentioned, the software is designed to save time and help companies make more informed decisions on replenishment and forecasting, ultimately reducing the money tied up in inventory.

Great planning tool for inventory
We have used Inventory Planner for many years now and have found its integration to our cloud ERP very easy and powerful. The OTB, Reporting and Forecasting modules are all very good and easy to use, and as such IP has become very important within our applications ecosystem. Although ownership of Inventory Planner has recently changed we look forward to hopefully enjoying the ongoing strong customer support and value for services proposition we have experienced throughout our journey to date as a user.
