I contacted Ignite about reinsulating my loft area, having just finished replacing Crittall windows with double glazed windows, as it made sense to to plug the last area of heat loss that I could access from my first floor maisonette. Having contacted Ignite I received a phone call saying that a survey could be completed very shortly (my memory's hazy but, I think it was within a week or two of making initial contact). The survey was quick and efficient, the guy took all of the details required and then told me that a written quotation would be emailed to me asap. The quote arrived the next day and, following a clarification of materials to be used, I agreed to the quote and paid a 50% deposit. A week later the insulation fitter turned up, at the agreed time of 09:30, and after a quick chat to establish my requirements (lifting and refitting loft walk-boards or, if possible, being able to work with the boards in situ) he got going in the loft. The job was pretty quickly completed, relatively speaking, by around 15:30. I was shown photographs of the finished loft area (which showed the complete lack of attention a couple of plumbers had exhibited toward my loft, its contents and the insulation - everything had been thrown about, insulation piled up and not laid down again etc!). The guy did offer to tidy up the loft area before leaving - the old insulation having been replaced with the new stuff in a careful and orderly fashion) but I said to leave it as I can't get up to the loft anyway, being disabled. The maisonette was relatively clean and tidy, where the guy had been active, after he'd finished cleaning up after himself (I had a couple of boxes of wine, Xmas presents, at the bottom of my rather steep stairs which made access a bit tight and created small areas where falling insulation could hide - nothing of substance to write home about).
I am delighted with the end result, my rooms started to warm up within hours of the central heating coming on and have been improving every day since in incremental steps (using a couple of space heaters helps drive off the accumulated condensation and, with the central heating, push heat to places that haven't been warm in years). The price was more than fair and the end result is a very happy, warm and content disabled OAP, I would wholeheartedly recommend Ignite Property Group to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient and competitively priced provider of loft insulation.

Prompt survey followed by detailed report. Answered all our questions before we went ahead. Had both cavity wall insulation and more loft insulation. Both teams were excellent, tidy, efficient and polite. Small issue sorted out quickly after. We are thrilled with how cosy our house is now.

The surveyor arrived promptly and was very knowledgeable. At the end, he explained what he found and we discussed what remedial action was possible. The report was prompt and very informative. I am not confident about the "low hanging fruit" to improve the energy efficiency of our home

Jack arrived to do a thermal imaging survey on our house which he did very efficiently and courteously. We received the written report the same day. He also gave us advice about our house and some good ideas about priorities for improving the insulation.

Jack was able to carry out a snagging inspection and thermal imaging survey on our new build property at very short notice. The resulting reports were produced promptly and were extremely thorough, yet easy to understand. A number of defects were identified which we wouldn't even have thought to look for and would likely have caused us major issues and wallet pain if left unresolved, so the inspection was a very worthwhile investment. I would not hesitate to recommend Ignite Property Group to anyone wishing to assess the quality of their new property.
