Made me want to pickup my camera and go shooting.

I really liked the first 16 modules. I coverd the basics which is always helpful. The last two module were interesting, but post processing is a big subject, and could be a class in itself. I'm not a heavy photoshop, but I do use it occasionally, its only a tool. It all about your workflow and there's another deep subject.

I could not get to the course selections for 17and18 after I exited. I had to go back to module 16 and select "take the test". From there I could get to select module. Also after I completed module 17 and 18, they didn't show up in my library. I did get two copies of module 11.

fun, enjoyable education

Got to admit, started the course and flew through the first 6 or 7 modules (within one day!)
However, they started to get longer, and more words were added. My mind was getting cluttered and I began to switch off. Which was told by the dip in exam results - from 100% down to 80-90%.
I then moved house and didn't have much spare time on my hands. Six months later, (3 days ago) I picked up from where I left off at module 8 or 9. I began the course and realised I had totally forgot everything I had learned. I had to recap and make notes. I then flew through the rest of the course applying my new found techniques to my own photography. The editing section is really helpful!
Passed the course with a 91% grade which I am very pleased about!
Overall, the course took me around two months to complete (minus my six month break).
Next step, is to correctly apply my new knowledge by possibly attending a workshop to be shown exactly HOW to apply these tricks. I also want to invest in some new equipment. Possibly just a few of the cheaper stuff first, followed by the more expensive things later.
The course id deffo worth a try ! :-)

Fun, interesting and makes you want to learn more

This course was fab and great value. It took me from the basics of learning about how my camera works, how to view the world in a different way of shadows, contrast, textures all the way through the advanced features.
It showed me how to compose pictures and what makes a picture interesting in the eyes of the viewer.
It's a must for those starting out and wanting to get the best from their equipment.

Some great information

I enjoyed the class. I would have preferred it more if I was able to complete the modules in my own preferred order. Also, I do not use Photoshop I use Lightroom. It would be nice to have a choice as to which photo editing software you prefer to learn more information about.
It would also be nice to have printable information sheets that are accessible after you complete the test module. These could be used for future reference.

Really good course informative and interesting

Very interesting course informative and fair .a bit difficult to down load at first but easier for each module. Some sections made you really think but others were easier. Enjoyed the whole experience and was very please to have passed and have my certificate.

Very comprehensive course! And very interesting!

I enjoyed this course although I found it a bit tedious some times (e.g., when discussing events). There was quite a lot of stuff there with information which was, obviously, based on long experience. This was a very valuable contribution. The only problem was that one could not skip modules which were of no interest to oneself. I suppose this had to do with the fact that the course aimed to be comprehensive and be of interest to just anybody who was interested in improving his/her photographic skills.

Absolutely brilliant course.

I learnt so much during this course. It was well presented, well laid out and covered everything you need to know about photography. A big thank you to everyone involved with the course and thank you for all your guidance and help. This is a course that anyone interested in photography at all should do.

Too much focus on portraits and kids

The course had a lot of really good information; however, there was such a large focus on portraits and children that it left me feeling like something was missing. I kept looking for more information on good action shots or sports photography, but those aspects were glossed over in favor of 100 different tips for good portraits or how to keep small children engaged. Not every photographer is interested in portrait photography or working with children.

Also, there are numerous spelling and grammar errors that need to be corrected.

And the video modules at the end for photo-editing are dull and dry and have too many 'oops, that isn't what I meant to do' issues to be truly effective.

Excellent course!!

This course was so awesome!! I learned technique's, do's and don'ts, and tips on how to make your pictures stand out. It was great that there was also a video tutorial on photo editing. I've already applied what I've learned and my photo's are looking better than ever.
Before this course, my stunning photo's were pure luck. Now I'm taking great photographs where ever I am.
I would recommend this course to anyone!!

Great course, learnt so much, glad I decided to do it.

Being retired I was a bit dubious about taking the course wondering if the old brain cells were still working. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even though I have taken photos for several years I have learnt a lot especially in the last 2 modules about photoshop. I would recommend the course to any would be photographer no matter what age.

Excellent course covering everything for beginner up

I have been interested in photography for a number of years and was somewhat sceptical as to what this course could offer. I was encouraged to see that it started at the beginning and did not assume any knowledge and progressed right through. I found the content to be very well laid out... explained and illustrated at every stage, with the quiz's as recaps during the tutorials and the tests and the end of each module. I will revisit various sections of this course on a regular basis to refresh my memory as I continue to strive to take better shots. The photoshop tutorials were particularly informative giving just enough to get anyone by. This course like any other is simply giving the building blocks for people to build from. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in taking better photographs; and its accredited, what more could you ask for.

All wanna be photographers must start here.

I really enjoyed this class. Worth my time and money spent. The only chapters I did not care for was the Photoshop Cs6 version at the end. I believe you need some experience with that first as many steps were not explained fully. I am taking another course on Photoshop. So hopefully that will sink in better. If you are a photographer wanna be........this is the best place to start.

A really great photography learning course

IPhotographycourse.com is a very thorough and effective way to learn about photography. It offers an opportunity to study at your own pace, and learn enough to have a very good basic understanding of photography. Students can also share their work for critiques and advice. I enjoyed this course very much.
