An effective and well presented course.

When joining iphotographycourse.com I had no experience or knowledge of photography, I am only half way through and I feel comfortable, knowledgable and passionate about it.
The regular feedback on assignments helps throughout.

I would, without exception recommend iphotographycourse.com to everyone wanting to learn how to use a camera and become a better photographer.

Great course for beginners and amatures

I thoroughly enjoyed the course, although I have a basic knowledge of photography I felt that the course increased my knowledge and has made me a better photographer. I highly recommend the course to beginners, advanced amatures and any anyone who loves photography. The tutors are helpfull, offer constructive critique and actively participate in the course. It becomes obvious to beginners right from the first module that the course is pressure free and they can learn at a pace that they are comfortable with. The student gallery
is a place where beginners can post their photos and receive constructive critique to help them enhance their photography. I look forward to continued participation in the gallery and the forum. It is a pleasure to see how the beginners photos some of which are quite beautiful become better as they proceed through the course.

Absolutely fantastic, even for a complete novice!

As a complete beginner I wondered if this would be too confusing for me.. Absolutely not. The course is well organised, easy to follow and full of great information. The tutors are full of top tips, constructive criticism, and praise for well executed shots. The forum is a great place to share ideas and meet people with a similar passion for photography. You can be as involved as you want, but I think the more you put in, the more you will get out of it. Get snapping and sharing your photos!

A great course that is both informative and testing for all levels of photographer.

The iPhotography.com course is a great way to kickstart a love of photography and even the most experienced photographer would find useful tips and tricks within its 18 modules.
Starting with the basics, the course runs through everything from camera types to Photoshop tricks and printing. However the course is only the start. As well as the interactive eLearning content there is optional coursework to complete and a live and friendly group of tutors whose comments always help. You also join a growing army of iPhotographers who are posting photos to the gallery and passing on brilliant ideas and images to the whole community.
Whether you are a keen amateur, holiday snapper or budding professional, this course can help you to improve your photography and challenge your skills.

fantastic online course.

I have learnt so much on this course . I'm on module 12 out of 18. Still got more to learn. The course has already taught me how to take great shots. Instead of snap shots... Great online student gallery. To share and comment on each others photos... brilliant value for money...

Fantastic photography course worth every penny!

This course is one of the best and most well constructed training program's I've ever done. From the first module right up the eighteenth module I found myself totally absorbed in the content. It held my attention throughout and made me want keep grabbing my camera to put the techniques into practice. Since doing the iphotographycourse my photography has come on in leaps and bounds. I've even had few high ratings on the student gallery which is an another important and valuable part of this course. It's clear the people behind this program love what they're doing and are passionate about continually improving it. It's worth every penny!

Poor quality course with high aspirations :(

This course has obviously had some thought put in to it, but is not a professional or substantial course for anyone other than a total beginner who has never used a camera.

The language used in the course is very basic and subjective. Grammar and spelling take a firm back seat priority and content is laboriously repeated over and over again.

Would I recommend this course? For the Groupon voucher cost of 49 pounds it is borderline reasonable, but certainly not worth a higher value than this.

Sadly disappointing.

This course covers all abilities and full of good advice

As a self taught seasoned photographer I enrolled with a view to formalising my knowledge and finding a benchmark. From the outset I was drawn in to the well thought out modules and the many helpful tips and tests all of which can be covered at your own pace in a very easy to understand manner. There is ample online help if needed and also the means to communicate with other like minded students on the course. The syllabus gives an excellent insight into all aspects of photography and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone

Interesting and informative

Just to let you know, I really have enjoyed doing the course, I already had done photography for several years beginning with a Pentax MG and Yashica FXD Quartz in the days of film so I was not entirely new to using a camera.

I liked that there was different sections to really concentrate on and some of the samples sown in these sections were great and some of the ideas were also new to me, even things like cloudscapes and abstracts were things I'd never really thought of much. But I do find myself looking a lot more at lovely cloud formations since starting the course.

Sending images in for appraisal is a great idea and it is great to get some feedback also.

I think what could slightly be improved is either a more in depth 'mini course' or smaller other course on the post production in elements or photoshop as this plays such a big part in today's photography.

On the whole I thoroughly enjoyed doing the course and if any updated or newer ones become available or created I would be very much interested in doing them.

I will recommend the course to other photographers I meet both experienced and new to photography.

Regards

Howard

There is no negatives in the iPhotography course.

Hi to all the team.
Thanks for the email.
I have just downloaded my certificate and printed it, on high gloss photo paper, and it will have pride of place on the wall of my study.
I have found the course to be a great experience and have enjoyed and learnt considerable from it.
I think that the fact that it attracts students from the full spectrum of photographers from beginners to the more proficient, speaks volumes for the course and its content.
I would and have recommended the course to others and at this stage I can think of nothing you could do to improve it. That is, now that you seemed to have solved the problem with the forums and the sluggishness of navigating the site.
Also the fact that there is no time limit for completing the course has been a great boon to me and I'm sure to many others.
Thanks again for a great experience.
Sincere best wishes.

Worth every penny!

My wife bought me the course as I really enjoy photography but had very limited knowledge of the technical side. As an IT consultant I don't shy away from learning new technologies. This course is incredibly good for the first timer all the way through to an experienced amateur. The modular structure appeals to any learning style and the fact that they can be re-visited at any point to refresh is a great help. Once the test for each module is taken and a pass achieved the test can't be taken again and that stops the temptation to "boost" pass marks. The online forum has been a great help and the tutors actively engage with participants. I would recommend this course to anyone!!!

Iphotography Course an excellent start to your photography journey.

Thankyou so much I love taking photos and am tagged with being the family photographer! I have 4 small children and found it very helpful
to just log on and study at my own pace. You have some very helpful and inspiring tips and techniques which I will love trying to master I have taken lots of notes.
I especially like the last two units on post editing, it was a little hard as I only have photoshop so some of the steps were different or didn’t exist but I managed to
follow reasonably well after a few times of w atching it. I would absolutley recommend this course thank you for all the wonderful ideas my head is bursting with enthusiasm.

Can't believe my luck!!!

Well this was an amazing find, I have been wanting to do a course in photography for so long but have never had the time. My Mum saw this on Groupon as a ridiculous discount and thought I might enjoy it. I was a little skeptical due to the price reduction but I had no reason to doubt this course. iPhotography teaches you photography from the ground up and even though I knew some stuff when it came to taking photos this course was an amazing refresher for what I knew and teacher of things I had never known. The course covers pretty much every type of photography you can think of which really gives you a chance to see where your talents lie. I have loved it so far and cannot wait to see what is awaiting me in the last few modules. So worth the money and I thank those who have worked so hard in putting it together!!!
