Miracle help on the train!

I suffered a minor injury while laying down the bedding, the staff asked me to call 139, and immediately I got two response calls assuring me of a medical team at the next station. A team of three including a policeman barged into our 2-tier AC with First Aid, and left only after I was treated
and advised on follow-up. We were on the Chennai Express, by next morning at Chennai, the wound had dried up.

My family and I have been praising the IRCTC ever since.

My recent train journey with IRCTC was as bad as dying...

My recent train journey with IRCTC was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The level of service, or rather, the complete lack thereof, was appalling and left me utterly disgusted.
The state of the accommodations was simply deplorable. The pillow covers were torn and frayed, looking more like rags than something meant to provide comfort. The bedsheets were stained and grimy, reeking of a musty odor that made sleep impossible. It was clear that basic hygiene and cleanliness were not a priority for IRCTC.
The management, or what passed for it, was a complete farce. Instead of addressing passenger concerns and resolving issues, the managers were engaged in heated arguments with frustrated travelers. Their behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. It was evident that they lacked any empathy or concern for the passengers' well-being.
But the most appalling aspect of the journey was the sheer disregard for basic hygiene and consideration for fellow passengers. A group of seemingly illiterate individuals were consuming Chicken Biryani throughout the journey. Their disregard for hygiene was appalling. They touched everything – the seats, the windows, even the food cart – with their greasy, unwashed fingers, completely oblivious to the discomfort and disgust they were causing to their fellow passengers, particularly vegetarians. Their blatant disregard for the feelings and sensitivities of others was truly shocking.
The entire experience was a complete and utter disgrace. IRCTC, with its shoddy services and complete lack of regard for passenger comfort and hygiene, has utterly failed to live up to even the most basic standards of hospitality. I strongly advise anyone considering traveling with IRCTC to reconsider their decision. This was, without a doubt, the worst travel experience of my life, and I sincerely hope that no one else has to endure such a horrific ordeal.
We were travelling from Patna to Mumbai. We were completely pissed 😡 off by the state of the train.
There were black stains all over the compartment.
I would surely request all to think as many times as you can before booking any ticket.
There are trains like Vande Bharat and Shataabdi, they are mostly good but such trains like this was unacceptable.

Critical situation

Washrooms are absent of water and they are very dirty and there are a lot of cockroaches. In general the train is in a very critical situation.

Worst railway in whole world and the irctc app is the worst booking app I've ever seen they're not reliable and not worth either you can travel in bus instead of travelling in these the app has so much bugs and no relevant information in these absolutely worse i can't even book a ticket in that app. The app shows there are 425 seats in tatkal while I try to book it regrets

I would give it zero stars if I could

I would give it zero stars if I could. What a terrible website and app. It keeps saying "Invalid user" when I try to login. It doesn't let me reset password by not sending an OTP at all! I called the customer care which is anpther horrible experience. It kept saying PNR is invalid when in fast it is actually valid and never connected me to an agent. All in all, what a terrible experience to be dealing with irctc. Avoid it.

Impossible site to purchase tickets. After 1 month trying we have abandon our trip to India. We would give this site no marks if we could. 1 is definitely too high.

To purchase tickets train tickets you must login with OTP sent to email. After over a month of trying we finally got out OTP. They took a fee from our credit card because we are an international traveler. Completely accepted this, but then could go not further until they verified our phone number by sending another OTP. After 2 days of trying and more than 20 attempts we have decided to abandon train travel in India as impossible to purchase tickets.

I am traveling from durg- nizzamudin…

I am traveling from durg- nizzamudin sampark Kranti express on 26 November 2024. And I had the worst experience of my life where because of Indian railway negligence we have to suffer to reach home. Now the train is not reaching the destination we have booked which was bilaspur instead to durg which is 150 km away from our home also the train is quite late making us miserable and vulnerable.

Just I eat tiffin at katpadi railway station the change was 60 rupees I have 100/- rupees he's having change in cash counter but he's argument with me as a customer this is the way of talking & give service very very worst service he doesn't have change no problem hes directly argument with out any reason because I given 100 rupees note my question is irctc you will not taking any big notes like 100/- 200/- 500/-. If we have change go and eat irctc but not change you people are not allowing the customers please ask him to why he was bahave rudely with me you have CC camera's please check then solve my issue. In Google lot of mobile numbers are there giving complaints but all are not working... What are you doing guys you.people are sleep mode.... I am travelling from Nilgiri express to Chennai central. The train stopped at arakonnam junction. Firstly we should be informed this in prior because work going on in central isn’t unplanned. Secondly, there should be an alternative option that has to be arranged. Very dissatisfied with the service. Everyone has commitments, this just shows how how unbothered IRCTC is sbout people’s time

worst app ever

I am not sure whats wrong with this app, its the worst app i used..
every timeI I try to book the ticket and make payment it deducts my payment from bank bt never completes the payment in app… always gets stuck for 4..5 days.. and i have to wait for my money… Previously this use to happen once and again i when i tried to book my ticket for the 2nd time and then it use to get booked properly , bt this time i was trying to book ticket for me and my brother for hometown and it deducted my money twice and there is no status in app.. it shows nothing.. once the transaction is done money gets deducted and irctc app shows error. This transactions were made via Gpay which goes through razor-pay..not sure if i am doing something wrong and its only me who is facing this issue or this happens with many of us..this is really disappointing…
