I initially wrote a negative review, mistaking this company for Ironmongery Direct, as I had ordered from both. Ironmongery Plus telephoned to help sort the problem. So many companies write platitudes about helping underneath negative reviews but never do anything, It was a refreshing change to find a company who was genuinely willing to help.

Ineffective delivery service
Courier tried to deliver my order three days ago when I wasn't home. Rather than leave it on the doorstep, at the back door or with a neighbour like every other courier, they took it away to their depot some 30 miles away. They still have it. I haven't received my order yet.
Update - 15 January 2026
On receiving this review, Ironmongery Plus intervened to resolve the issue and I have now received my order which was delivered by an alternative courier. The goods are of good quality and I can't speak highly enough about the post sales service provided by Ironmongery Plus.

We have spoken to the courier, and asked them to check their tracking:
The parcel was picked up from our warehouse on 8th Jan at 15:52, and no attempt was made to deliver it.
Essentially they have lost the parcel. We don't understand why they told you they still have it.
We can offer to have the goods delivered to you tomorrow, direct from the manufacturer, or provide a full refund. Please let us know which you would prefer.
