An efficient and courteous technician got us back into our house in minutes. They were really efficient at arranging an appointment and the technician that came was really good at fitting didn't waste any time, good advice and absolutely no problems. Thank u Danny !
Great service for great prices recomand in future for all service’s.
Good service, prices within range.
I do recommend them
THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES
Absolute rip off - thankfully I managed to get a proper quote via email and therefore didn't choose them for the work done on my door but I feel like I have to warn other that they are ripping people off. For a job that should have cost £40 for 2 locks + 20 min labour they wanted to charge £370! not sure how else to call it than criminal prices! Avoid at all costs!
the back door woudn`t lock for some reason.
I tried to change the lock myself but without any luck.
Admiting defeate ive started browsing the web for a locksmith, after viewing few websites and making a couple of calls, i submled upon itcc, who swiftly sent one of their technicians, i guess danny was his name. He took a look, explaind to me what he has to do, showed me a few lock types for my door and after agreeing prices and all, he started the job.
Didnt took very long and he even aligned the door for me at no extra charge.
We have been royally ripped off. Prices were not quoted to us on the phone - We were charged nearly £500 to replace our front door lock, because apparently its a 'specific lock' that is expensive (You can purchase it for about £60) We were oblivious as to how much these things would cost and the work had already been done before they gave us the final price. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
I was told the locksmith was free anytime after 9am this morning, so I requested a 9:30 arrival. I didn't get any confirmation of this so at 8:45 I checked up - they confirmed my address and said they would send someone.
I heard nothing more, and called at 10:15 to check when to expect someone. I was told the locksmith was stuck at another job and would be round by 12 latest.
At 12:30 I'd still heard nothing so called again. I was told they would be another 15 minutes and were on their way.
15 minutes later no one had arrived and I gave up, I called the technician directly and cancelled the job. They didn't apologise or even seem to care/be surprised or concerned.
I've just wasted my morning waiting around for these people, but I have a feeling I've had a lucky escape.
I suggest others avoid this company!

I needed a locksmith when I locked myself and my 2 year old son out this morning. I needed a locksmith quickly as I had to get to work by 12. I called a few locksmiths who said they would be 45 to an hour. ITCC said they would be 20ish as they had a man in the area. Almost to the minute James showed up and very quickly and within 10 minutes i was back in my home. It was actually quite surprising how easy the locksmith opened my door which was also quite concerning may call these guys back to upgrade my locks. Will update if i do.
EXTORTIONATE PRICE COMPANY QUOTED £45 CALL OUT PLUS COST OF LOCK BETWEEN £30-£60. £324 CHARGED IN TOTAL. ALL LOCKS CHANGED LAST YEAR VIA A DIFFERENT LOCK SMITH AND WAS ONLY £300 FOR 4 DOORS
A few days ago someone tried to force their way inside of my home in hackney. Fortunately they didn’t get in but they did somehow damage the inside of my door. I called ITCC locksmiths who came out with a locksmith called James. He was very helpful and explained what they exactly tried to do as I was out at the time of the break in. Anyway, James was very helpful but unfortunately I had to replace the whole inside of the door which wasn’t cheap but something which needed to be done. Overall James was very helpful and the service was professional.
Needed a few locks changed in the house as my husband lost his keys. Called a few locksmiths to get some quotes. I choose ITCC as they wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive, I always go for the middle. It seems I was right. The locksmith called Andrew was very nice and apologetic for being a tad late. Andrew looked at all the locks and gave me a choice of which locks to use which i thought was very good. He explained everything very well and answered all my questions. So I cant recommend enough.
Worse than bad - totally corrupt. I am not the only one ripped off I see - shocking and will be referring to higher authorities.
Same story as many people here - quoted £49 labour and ended up paying a full total of £576 - an extra £249 for labour added on top of the £49.Total job was 20 minutes.
Paid £185 for lock worth £40 plus VAT.
You take advantage of people when they are vulnerable.
Have rung, have emailed and no response - still awaiting to hear from the boss of Jacobhome locksmiths in Hackney which is tied to ITcc Locksmiths.
Benny contacted me - and said he knew nothing of this but there must be some links as people tell the same story.
Would like a fair refund - particularly for the £249 labour!
Avoid, massively overcharged on the initial quote, went from max £150.00 to over £400.00 Disgraceful
Extremely bad value for money: £537 to change £40-worth of locks. As others have reported, the initial price quoted over the phone was £49 callout plus £55 parts. This jumped to £537 by the time he'd arrived and was ready to do the work.
My front door mechanism was stuck. I called and spoke to someone called Benny who said it could be a number of things why the door was getting stuck. Andrew arrived and took the inside of the door apart and tried to fix it. However that proved unsuccessful and a new mechanism had to be installed. He didn't have the mechanism and came back 2 hours later. Andrew acted professionally and the standard of work was professional too. The price I thought was fair and he kept to social distancing which was comforting. Thanks Andrew
>>>ROGUE TRADERS AVOID!<<<
Unprofessional rude I doubt he was properly licenced wasn’t treated how a customer should be treated and this during the coronavirus epidemic. Completely ripped me off.
Charged £132 to replace a standard barrel after initially quoting £65. Did not last one day that evening door handle came off the door and after calling them and pleading with them to repair the door handle, they refused to do so and were unable to tell me what was charged for labour and the barrel as the invoice did not state this. And all this during the coronavirus epidemic leaving my family and home exposed to outside elements.
Initially over the phone quoted £40 for labour and £25 for the barrel. Sounded positive. Engineer called ‘Bob’ (definitely not his real name) came around to my house took one look at it and the price jumped to £95 including labour. When I asked why this was the case, he said that the only locks he had in stock were priced accordingly. After further examination, he said that the door handle could be broken and that it may need to be replaced. When I asked if he had a gold door handle in stock he said he only had a white one. I then said, in that case, do not proceed with the job as I didn’t want a white door handle. He then thought about it and then went on to say that the old handle could be used again but that I should look to replace it at some point in the future. He reassured me with a 6 month guarantee but that after this time he could not promise that the door handle could play up.
After completing the job (about 20 minutes in total) he gave me an invoice with a new price of £132 I didn’t want to argue with him so I just paid what he asked for. That evening when the door handle came off I spoke with the engineers boss when I asked what I was charged for labour and the barrel he was unable to answer and replied by saying he would get the engineer to re-write another invoice for me. The engineer then called me back and proceeded to tell me that ‘you created a lot of problems for me today my friend’ even though he only spent 20 mins on the job and squeezed double the initial quotation he then hung up on me. After this, they stopped taking my calls and this during the coronavirus emergency utter disgrace!
Had you guys come to my house to change my old gates and railings. I was very pleased with the service toy offered. Ryan was very helpful and gave me more then enough information. Price was reasonable and in line with other quotes but the overall service was fantastic.
Used these locksmiths yesterday evening. I had my key but couldn't unlock my door which was bloody annoying. So called the locksmith arrived had abit if trouble himself but did manage to flip the hooks or bolts back. He took out the inside of the door and found out it was becoming jammed as some internal part must have broke. He left saying he would return with a new one. Around 40 minutes later he came back with a new part, pit it back in the door and it was as good a new. :) I definitely recommend.
Good service but very expensive. Nearly £400 to change a yale lock. Can’t say this is good value but it’s a speedy service when you need it
