ITV Hub Reviews 

The ITVX app is by far one of the worst streaming services I’ve ever used. The app constantly glitches, especially during ad breaks, and fails to return to the programme afterwards. Instead, you’re forced to exit and restart, only to be bombarded with the same adverts all over again. It feels like a deliberate ploy to force users into watching never-ending promotions.

Compared to other streaming platforms, ITVX is shockingly bad. The frequent crashes and poor functionality make it almost unwatchable. If you’re lucky, it *might* eventually go back to your show, but most of the time, you’re stuck in an endless loop of ads and frustration.

Save yourself the hassle and avoid this app until ITV fixes these ongoing issue, if they even care to. Very, very poor experience!

Why is this website, produced by a major company and used by millions of people, so atrocious?

There is no 10/20 second forward/back button - this could be fixed with a few hours programming.

It crashes with an error code several times each day (not my computer, it happens on several).

When going back to something I've partly watched it often forgets how far it's got to and just starts the programme again.

ITV, how can you get this so wrong? It's driven me to watch your competitors instead as ITV Hub is just not worth the hassle.

i just don't know why this app is so consistently bad both on my mobile and my TV. It frequently forgets where i am, it never remembers 'my programmes', i spend far too long having to re watch ads just to try and get back to where i was. But, sometimes, i just can't remember and give up. What a crap app. And, it always has been. Some days it won't even load. Frequently freezes - some days it needs me to manually press play after every set of adverts!! Eurgh.

One star is one too much, this App is a minus 10.
It's actually getting much worse,it's absolutely dreadful.
You spend more time trying to get it to play and watching the same huge number of adverts than actually watching a programme.
I honestly don't know why it's still on the air it's useless.

Its absolutely awful, slowest app on earth. Bad enough searching for a program, you spend more time typing stuff in! And the cheeky fu**ers want us to pay for this!!??

Awful continually freezes. You start to watch a series then says it doesn’t exist. Trying to catch up on anything is pointless. I have given up on it.

Just awful!! SO slow, doesn’t remember what you’ve watched or how far through an episode you are, doesn’t cope with pausing even for 60 seconds - you have to exit and go back again which again is SO SLOW. Won’t allow you to watch if you’ve got radio channels on in the background. Just don’t understand how it can be so bad.

What a waste of time trying to help other people with my experience of having my baby adopted at 8 days, given drugs to stop my production of milk, and no time whatsoever to hand over my child. Watching the programme tonight I thought my experience might have been a help but ITV is absolutely useless in its follow up. I scrolled for ages on the link to provide my help with no reference at all so I won’t bother - can go on gov. I’m or channel 4.

App has really poor functionality and to add insult to injury ive Just had carribean cruise advert on 6 times in one add break. Progams on the app are decent but very off putting when things like this happen. Very frustrating 😕

ITV Hub is total rubbish!
It freezes all of the time, you uninstall it off your TV and go through the process of reinstalling it, then a day later the same thing happens!
Does it use the Horizon System like the Post Office!?
I can't believe ITV as a company use such a rubbish system, with tons of bad reviews, that don't seem to make any difference!
I didn't want to give it 1 Star, but was forced too unfortunately! 😡

Dreadful! Trying to catch up with Emmerdale & is just constantly freezing when the ads come on. Rebooted several times & still poor! Taking about two hours to watch two episodes. About as useful as a chocolate fireguard!

ITV you need to listen to the reviews , terrible app really slow loading and sometimes doesn’t work at all . Multi million pound company DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!!😡

Shockingly poor app. Constant issues after ads and it won't restart the program. Click back and it takes you back to the start. Total waste of time watching anything.

Same as all the other reviews. Every year I pay so I can watch I'm a Celebrity on catch up as I can't bare adverts. Every year freezes won't load just a diabolical app. 5.99 a month for ad free and can't watch JS.

What went wrong this time is what goes wrong all the time. The itv hub is so bad.So slow its actually ridiculous.For a long time I thought it was me or my Internet or my TV turns out it's the hub and it's rubbish. ITV SORT IT OUT

ITV if you read this, will you please employ the guys that set up IPlayer for the BBC. Your player is rubbish, a joke, an embarrassment to your company. The BBC iplayer by contrast is slick, modern and a joy to use.
