ITV Hub Reviews 

Just an awful, awful app. So slow to load, so full of glitches. Using it is a complete frustration. Why? BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 can all do it. Get a grip ITV.

Anyway, after all the buffing problems, and months of Dead silence I still haven't heard an apology or even an answer, I guess the advertising got on to it, as a lot of people couldn't watch properly, and Ads wasn't watched, and the cost going down the drain, or one hell of a glitch might as well call it horizon. Without real pain, of course but just nuisance. 3 stars for no apology, And playing dead.

Worst app for streaming that I've come across. From buffering to crashing to issues with ads loading, what's the point?

Constantly buffers & prevents you from watching even with a paid subscription.

Christmas TV that has the usual rubbish content!

Do you ever consider that not every one prefers rubbish like continuous quizzes.. poorly produced programmes like 'The Masked Singer'....and so many more!
Yes I know we pay for BBC programmes..but look at the quality compared to yours!

Itv worst channel going. Need a new channel. Itv is sooo cheesy .

I have to log in numerous times then it boots me out. When I eventually log in to my 'premium' account, it takes forever to load or displays an error code. Absolute worst TV catch up webpage I have ever used.

ITVX are cheeky rude they removed Battlebots still not finished catch up all episodes just half way & too much adverts on ITVX I not pay premium that greedy company same on YouTube that why I used PC Adblocker Ultimate stopped all adverts no more break each parts of video on ITVX.

It's the ads that kill, not the amount but the frequency and the timing, cutting into the middle of scenes, it would be better to have all the ads in one go in the middle of the show so it's only one interruption, this is something all services should do for tv shows under an hour. They might think or but the ads every ten mins are short, but they break tension in certain scenes, the flow

I’m afraid ITVX is nothing like ad reliable as the old ITV Hub. It takes ages to load. The ads are hit and miss. But worst is the programmes that often have NO SOUND!! You have to close everything down and switch back on, hoping that resolves it. I’m watching on BT.
Is ITV doing anything to resolve the many problems people are experiencing?

Probably the worst app for navigation and user friendliness. Response time also seems slow - several times we have to reboot in order to get volume working.

Not reliable. Screen is often black. It often doesn’t load or needs to buffer frequently. It will end in the mistake of a show. It doesn’t remember what you have seen and where you left off.

It is not as easy to select an episode from a series, their scrolling is not as straightforward as it appears, never will subscribe to it ever.

I believed the emails sent and signed up for ITVX Premium on 3 November....so far NOTHING has been available for me to watch without having to go through MORE online rubbish (I am almost 75 years of age and thought best to make an annual subscription). I cannot do the necessary IT like scanning codes, entering more on my tv remote etc etc because it just does not work and when trying to watch a relaxing programme before bed I am forced to get out of bed, go to the other end of the house and then I JUST GIVE UP! YOU HAVE MY MONEY BUT I HAVE NO SERVICE FROM ITVX PREMIUM WITHOUT BEING PUT THROUGH THE RINGER BY YOU ...... SHAME ON YOU ...IF NETFLIX CAN DO IT WHY CAN'T YOU? TYPICAL GREED AND HAVING TO OVERPAY FOR CONTENT.....NOT MY FAULT!

Adverts are literally mental torture. Won’t be hurrying back to ITVx

It's terrible.
Since the switch to ITV X, you cannot guarantee watching a programme on ITV Hub (in my case via a BT box).
It freezes, stops working, stutters and if by remote chance it does work without interuption, then it's full of adverts.
It's the worse streaming service out there!
It only scores 1/5 because I can't give a minus score!

Really poor in comparison to iPlayer. Obvious there need to be ads, but when you're trying to keep up with something you've been watching live, you've no chance. By the time you login and watch the adverts, you've missed loads. Then if you pause, expecting to be able to restart it where you paused, forget it! More ads, then you've missed the end, can't rewind live, rubbish.
