Paid for a premium membership so that I could book a flight to Japan, forgot about the renewal period until the transaction came up in my account, contacted support, who were happy to refund the renewal and I had the money back in my account within 48 hours of first reaching out to support.

Excellent customer aervice

Personal, friendly email about the conclusion of my subscription. Great serviceoverall, I just can’t travel outside school holidays so most deals will not work for me. But if only!

What a customer experience 😍😍

What a customer experience! Such positive engagement to my query! Signed up for a trial but wanted to cancel the forwarding subscription. Friendly, confident and reassuring is how I would describe my engagement. Cancelled subscription after realising I won’t actually be able to take advantage of the fab offers in the coming year but I will the following year and can’t wait to take up the subscription.

It's 95% targeted at Upgrade…

It's 95% targeted at Upgrade Memberships - without it it's semi-useless. A few pleasantly-worded articles but the vast majority blurred-out and inaccessible unless you pay your c£50pa.

Yes, we do have a Takeoff (paid) membership, which gives members more content and a more refined airport selection. But we also have our Standby (free) membership — it’s been around since the start, and plenty of members choose to stick with it.
Standby members still get full access to 1 Takeoff Flight per week, alerts when a Takeoff Flight comes up to one of their wish-list destinations, and the ability to select their home airport. If your airport is smaller, we’ll include nearby airports so you don’t miss any of the great Flights we find.
Our paid membership is our only source of revenue — we don’t take commissions from bookings, so we stay completely unbiased for our members. It also lets our team work full-time to find the best trips and give all Travellers — Standby and Takeoff — a genuinely great experience and support.
