Good for spontaneous people

I think this is a good company for people who are spontaneous…if you want a last minute weekend away or don’t need to plan ahead too much. I haven’t found the flights all that helpful, although I really enjoy the content they produce. I probably won’t sign up again after my free trial as it’s not something that works for me.

About as useful as t|ts on a fish

Skyscanner and google can do this job for you, don’t be lazy.
They say they have 1000s of bots etc but you can literally create an account on Skyscanner and set alerts for places you want to go. It doesn’t cost anything. If your lazy and can’t be arsed to look and enjoy wasting money use it

Yes, you're absolutely right that we send members links to places like Google Flights or Skyscanner to actually buy the flights that we find and that's because we don't sell tickets (or even earn any commission on tickets), so we have to send people to the places they can purchase those flights.

The Jack's Flight Club service is built to constantly scour the internet and figure out IF a flight price is any good and ONLY then rapidly alert our members that there's an unexpectedly great fare available.

At that point we send out the location of how and where to buy that flight (including if necessary, the particular workarounds or hacks to get the price we've found).

If you're locked into specific times/dates or routes, in those cases Jack's service might not be for you, so running a general search on Google Flights or Trip.com is good advice and a decent way to get a sense of if you have to take particular dates, what are the best value options.

We weren't using...

We weren't using.... just to busy, and not doing the kind of travel that Jack's seems to excel at. So we cancelled after the first year. We were actually a day or so late in doing so, but a single message to their online messaging quickly brought refund and closure. So this is for their customer service. Well done, thank you.

Membership fees still taken despite trial cancellation

I’ve been subscribed as a free member with JFC for a number of years, but never used any of their highlighted flights. Having recently retired and planning flights further afield, I subscribed to the £1 for 1 month trial to see what additional offers were included in a subscription. Sadly nothing more, above free content, was received so I cancelled the subscription within the 1 month period. As such I was shocked when I received my bank statement with £48 debited to JFC for an annual subscription. I immediately cancelled that subscription online then contacted JFC to request a refund as I had already terminated my subscription during the trial period, so was not liable to pay anything. They refused saying I was outside a 14 day period, a period that applies only to a standard subscription, which I had no longer authorised having already cancelled the trial subscription. They asked for proof of cancellation, which I don’t have as I didn’t take images of the cancellation. They suggested that an email confirming cancellation may have gone straight to my spam bin, so that would have already disappeared into the ether. With their refusal to refund, I requested escalation to the CEO/ or ombudsman. They have refused to supply details of either, which may be a breach of trading laws as they should have a policy/process available for customer complaints. Feedback here could have been so much better had communications with JFC been less frustrating to deal with and more so if their processes actually worked.

Hi, Eunice. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to review your account further and look into your subscription query. We took a deep dive into your account details and subscription details to ensure there was no service failure.

We do see your trial started on August 23rd 2025 and moved to an annual subscription on September 22nd 2025. When a cancellation is completed, it cancels on your account (from your Lounge), with our billing processor, which is Stripe and also in a separate application which is in charge of you receiving flights. We have checked all 3 and there was no cancellation found. If the cancellation was completed and failed, it meant that all 3 applications failed separately from each other. While this is completely possible, because technology, it is highly unlikely that all of them failed to recognize the cancellation request. You would have as well received a confirmation sent to you and it would have been noted on your screen that the cancellation was done.

We are unable to provide a refund of your annual fee because your contact request to us was outside our 14 day refund timeframe. We have also advised that your case was reviewed by our management team. We also aren’t able to provide personal contact details for our CEO and as we’re a private company, there isn’t a specific ombudsman for subscription services like ours. You are always welcome to seek independent advice if you wish to take this further.

Bookings are not done through us nor do we receive any commission when you book a flight from one of our emails. We have no idea you've made a booking or not unless you tell us.

I say all of this to say that payment for our service is based on flights that you receive from us, so from that end, we have kept up our side of the bargain. We had requested further details to locate your account to ensure there was no service failure. But sadly to date, no details were provided from your end.

If you have signed up with a trial offer with us, we ensure to confirm several times on both the sign up pages and the cashier how long the trial is for, the date it progresses to a full subscription and the amount that would be charged.

Problem solved

It’s not finished yet so it could be a better or worse score will keep trust pilot informed. But they have persevered with my issue so hopefully sort it out soon UPDATE. I’ve updated my experience everything has been sorted out now a great effort from jacks flight club. They never gave in kept me in touch and finally resolved my problem.
