Amandine from Japan Design Travel organized à perfect 3 weeks tour through Honshu. During planning and booking she was very responsive, proactive and helpful. As a result à perfect journey: nicely selected hotels - the ryokan in Tonogawa was a dream -, transfers by train and bus perfectly organized - on trains she booked seats having a larger allowance for stowing larger suitcases -, and plenty of useful tips. She accompanied us on a hiking tour on the Nakasendo trail what was very enjoyable. What we also appreciated very much was her availability to answer questions. We traveled just the two of us but never felt lost as we could always rely on Amandine. Taking us on a food tour together with her husband was a nice - unplanned - surprise. We are now recommended her services to all our friends who have plans for visiting Japan! Thank you Amandine for having made our trip to Japan such a memorable holiday.

We had a great trip organized through Japan Designed Travel. They listened to what was important to us and planned to our needs. When we arrived in Tokyo, we received a package with meticulously organized tickets for all of our train rides and our flight from Sapporo to Tokyo, including instruction on how to use the multiple tickets per ride.

Amandine reached out after we landed and made sure that we had everything that we needed. She stayed in touch during our trip, so we were comfortable asking for help communicating with guides. And she did a fantastic job sorting out a small issue that we had at our last hotel. She also provided suggestions on top sites to see and explore at each of our destinations. We would definitely work with her again.
