I actually purchase the jaxjox interactive system installed and now it doesn’t work the app no longer working . I basically owe the entire system in payments and can’t even use it . Been trying to call customer service no answer and response to my emails . It’s very unfair

Purchased kettlebell and was great for a few months until app stopped working. Customer support useless, no help, stopped responding and so a year later the intelligent weight with useful data, stats etc id now just a dumb-bell. Beware products sold with apps to control as it seems companies farm out the e part and the support and so a product that needs the app is useless when it fails or lapses. Had similar experience (but honestly not half as bad but still annoying) with e lighting (Hue)

HARD PASS - Spent over 2 years trying to get response from support. NEVER heard back despite getting autoresponders saying ""we've received your review..."

One dumbbell stopped working within a couple months of light use. So now we've got some massively big and heavy paperweights.

Trash company, products were good if they lasted.

Zero feedback from customer-lack-of-service despite multiple e-mails to all available addresses. Keeping a site alive for one particular market and pretending to be available to the rest of the market is unfair and incredibly bad service.

I bought the JaxJox Studio about 18 months ago and signed up for the app at $35 a month. Suddenly, the app crashed, and the screen stopped working. After some research, I found out that the company had gone under, except for operations in the UK. I contacted their UK headquarters, and they basically told me they were not responsible. I had to change my card number to stop them from charging me the monthly fee.

I just purchased it but it does not work. Does anyone know if the app actually works or is this a scam?

bought these dumbbells as i didn't want multiple weights and thought these were a good alternative to the Bowflex that were expensive although these weren't cheap seemed a good idea that's where i wish i stopped, plus side they look fantastic that's it! takes too long if you're doing a class where switching between weights is the key, they shut down after time so you have to turn them on then wait then select the weight wait again by then the class has switched weight again, very big so bicep curls are compromised & to top it off one has stopped working not that i used it much and now headed for the bin! lesson learnt.

I was surprised seeing the feedback on this page. My experience with them was exceptional. Shout out to Tomas who went above and beyond to help me with an out of warranty Kettlebell that I was trying to find parts for. He bent over backwards and eventually replaced the base for me because the part wasn't available, which he didn't have to do. I never use the app, so didn't realise that it wasn't working but can't register the new base now. That's my only gripe in an otherwise excellent customer service experience.

App no longer works, can't reset password or get in touch with customer service. Still owe half of what it cost and can't use the equipment. We all need refunds

I suspect this company has gone bust. Bought some dumbbells that didn't work as promised - app no longer works and there is no support help from JaxJox.
I bought the dumbbells via a distributor company. They very reluctantly look like they may refund - after threatening with setting out my rights - but I suspect that company also knows JaxJox gone bust
Just avoid this brand. Will cause you no end of grief.

I have had my Kettlebell for 14 months and it has broken (all the weights gone haywire).

Response from them is pasted below.

“Appreciate your response. Please note, the particular kettlebell is out of warranty now and I have checked the video I am afraid the shell has faulty, sorry for the inconvenience.”

Awful - bought dumbbell set 18 months ago and they're now bricked - haven't worked for weeks - can't even use them manually. app won't allow log in, reset or creation of new account. Hard reset of dumbbells doesn't work - still bricked.
Tried emailing them - no response.
I have purchased through a UK distributor so trying them now - if no luck they will be getting an awful review and a small claims court application

I started with their dumbbell sets , and finally after 6 months of having them sit around, I opened the box and the battery would not power on nor take a charge. This also happened with the kettle bell system …dead batteries right out the box and would not take a charge. I went past the return period, and now I have two brand new useless devices. Based on what I have read on here about Jax Jox and my personal experience, I would recommend to stay away from the products this company offers, they are of low grade, and not meant to last.

I truly loved using my JaxJox equipment. After about a month my machine has logged me out, it seemed to have deleted my account. I can't get past the login home page. When I power it on it go to the sign in page my weights turn on then go dead. So it is useless. I am still paying for a machine I cannot use, I am infuriated! Keep in mind they are still charging my card for my monthly membership!!!!! Like are you kidding me?? I have tried calling the support line and it is disconnected, I have emailed them for the past two months and got one automated response email in return. I am thinking to company is no longer in business, I am however confused as to why we cant use the programs that are currently on the machines. I know how you all feel... I feel like I got robbed literally.

Do not waste your money on this system! I’ve read the reviews before this one and I am having the same issue. App stopped working, can’t log in. Reached out to JaxJox and just got a generic email stating that someone will reach out within 72 hours. It’s been about 1000 hours now and nothing. Their customer service line is disconnected btw. Bad service!!!

App doesn’t work, product is just frustrating to use without it

App stopped working. Can’t log in, can’t sign up for a new one. It was a lot of money to spend on something that’s now the equivalent of a heavy doorstop! Seems like a lot of people are having issues with this company too! Are they even still operating?

JaxJox app not working for month and this renders equipment useless. Tried their touted support line but they say JaxJox not responding to them!!

6 months after purchase can’t use product and can’t get any responses and yet products still appear to be on sale. Next step trading stds or similar because wondering if all a scam?

Stopped allowing me to change weights after 2 years of use, 2-3 times a week, 2 years for what was a $400 purchase, not remotely worth it. There is no support, mutlipe emails sent with no response. Now my USB connection has snapped, there is no way to have this brick repaired. Terrible product, no service. Jax Jox and retailers like Dick's Sporting and Best Buy should offer refunds.

Yikes! Came on here to write a review to say how happy I was with the product and now wish I hadn't having seen everyone else's comments. Got these as a Christmas present and other than not being able to change the weight to kgs, they have worked perfectly. Yes they are big and bulky for the weight compared to normal dumbbells but so much smaller than a full set. So far so good but am slightly nervous now that I will get no support if/when things do go wrong.
