The facility is amazing and the equipment is also great and definitely a wide variety for everyone, overall this has been the best week I’ve experienced at a gym I really feel at home here at JD

No Air conditioning
Why is it that when it’s winter, you have the air con on between 00:00-05:00. During the summer like now when it’s 20° there’s never any air conditioning on and the heat in here is unbearable to train in!

To many gangs of lads using the machines and talking between sets. Should be only allowed in 2’s so everyone can train as that’s what we are there for. Need to be monitored and dealt with before the reputation gets worse. Equipment is great and space is good.

The shower is not clean it has bad oudor
I’ve just started coming to this new studio and I really like the setup, but the showers have some serious issues that need fixing:
• Unpleasant smell: There’s a strong, lingering odour in the shower area that doesn’t go away even after use. Installing an extractor vent would help pull the stale air and smells out.
• No temperature control: The water only runs extremely hot — there’s no way to adjust it to be cooler. It’s so hot that it feels like it could easily burn skin, which is a safety concern.
It would make a huge difference if these issues could be resolved quickly. Once fixed, this will be a much better experience for everyone.

Great gym all equipment in good working…
Great gym all equipment in good working order and plenty of it good sauna and showers but toilets are a bit dated all in all I love using JD Gyms and will continue .

So far great
So far great. Came in to start my year worth of training and rehab on my bad ankle. Llewellyn and Gwen were there to greet me, they both had a lovely demeanour and Llewellyn has such a great personality, warm spirit. The gym looks clean, top notch and ready to be used. There were some technical issues and they're allowing me to work out today and sort my fixed term pass tonight when I'm home. Great 😃👍🏻

Amazing gym AND STOMA FRIENDLY
Amazing gym.
Really friendly staff and seems like a nice bunch of people who go there too and are always happy to help
The manager actually helped me the other day too I think he’s called guy he was super helpful and it was my first day at the gym and really looked after me.
I have a stoma bag and this was a massive moment for me to get back into the gym and I did feel abit overwhelmed with it all, but he put my mind at ease it was great to feel understood too. Thankyou guy you helped me more than you know.
Very clean gym it can be busy at times but I would expect that too. I even saw guy cleaning at one point which did amuse me a little bit but he takes pride in his gym and it’s nice to see.
Also great disabled facilities too ❤️

Busy with terrible etiquette!!
Gym very busy with absolutely terrible gym etiquette. Members sit on machines for 3 + sets, use their mobiles and do not get off and budy budy share! However, they have never been taught this and personal trainers do the same!

A lot of the machines at the hull gym…
A lot of the machines at the hull gym are old and past there best.
Also the cancellation policy is a joke. You have to pay another month to cancel a membership to gym with second hand machines.

Our teams do carry out regular maintenance checks and work with our suppliers to repair and replace equipment as quickly and safely as possible.

Very crowded at all times, and dirty
The gym is very crowded at all times. Whenever I want to use any equipment, I have to wait for someone else to finish.
Also, the equipments are very dirty and often covered in sweat. To be honest, I don’t feel comfortable using it without placing a towel down, as I’m concerned about hygiene and possible skin issues.
In addition, the toilets are consistently very dirty and are often out of toilet paper.
