If I could give 0 stars
If I could give 0 stars, that is what I would give. The possibility for debt relief was great at first. But my credit score quickly tanked due to not paying the creditors. One didn’t settle with them and it went to court. Then they doubled my payment and refused to work with me on finding a better solution for my payments. I couldn’t get anyone to call me back. Or send me an email. Nothing. Just the auto reply that they would get back to me soon. My situation is worse than it was before I got with JG Wentworth. They basically told me I was stuck and there’s nothing I can do. Don’t go with these people. Look at any other solution. They’re the worst. They don’t want to help you. They just want your money. At any cost to you. It’s not worth it. Customer service is horrible.

Completely Satisfied except for 1 thing
Overall, the experience was very straightforward and easy to follow. The representative that I dealt with, Erica, seemed very knowledgeable and was pleasant to speak with. She answered all of my questions and concerns and was patient with me as I read through every document before signing. The reason for the 4-star rating, instead of a 5-star, is the negative impact that this will most likely have on my credit score. I was instructed to stop making the payments to my creditors while JGW are negotiating. While I understand the reasoning behind this, I'm not comfortable with that. I have worked hard to ensure that my payment history has been 100% on time. Now there will be missing payments for multiple accounts for possibly 3 months. It's a shame that I won't be able to retain that 100% on-time payment history.
