seamless process, great drive and great service. i will duffs use the service everytime i am in cape town.

Easy online process and seamless booking. Clear terms and quick communication. Part automated, part human, great all over!

Booked the wonderful little car for 3 full weeks over December, and enjoyed every mile driving it up and down the Cape coast.

Friendly preemptive contact from the company before pick-up and drop-off, and appreciated their patience with us and assistance at the airport.

Comparably and reasonably priced, I thought, also given the pleasure of the car.

😩Made a booking in October 2023 and stayed in constant communication with Jimmy’s car hire and made my payment on 6th November and I was reassured that my booking is secure and I can have access to the car from 6th-8th January 2024. To my surprise when I inquired yesterday (2nd Jan) to see if we are all set I find out my booking has been messed up and can only use the car at 7:30pm on the 7th of January!! What a joke! and mind you it’s the day of my birthday that day & had made plans to drive to Franschhoek with my friends! Im not happy at all. Unprofessional!!! I’m really disappointed by them. Don’t bother!

Excellent service. Would highly recommend using Jimmy’s Car hire. Ross and Matt was super friendly and helpful from booking to drop off. Vehicle was spotless.

Fantastic experience with Jimmy’s. Billing was easy, easy pickup and dropoff, beautiful Jimnys and nice surprise on the touchscreen install. We rented a cabin and drove around the vineyards - in a Jimny that’s a perfect holiday.

Enjoyed renting the little Jimny for our few days in the Winelands.

I was looking for a unique car rental experience and particularly a vehicle suitable for gravel roads to explore the Tankwa Karoo National Park area in South Africa.

I was completely satisfied with the service and especially with my vehicle which was in excellent condition.

I did not give Jimmys 5 stars because there was not a user manual in the car. This could have been an issue if I had a problem..thankfully I did not.

I highly recommend this small and personalized car hire company. I will use Jimmy’s again and look forward to my next rental.
