We used James' and his team's services multiple times: from basic yearly boiler servicing / various minor repairs/amendments/improvements to a full mains re-plumb and boiler relocation/replacement.
We were always impressed with the quality of the workmanship (Their pipework is so neat that I was almost tempted to let them exposed rather than boxing them!).
All of the team members we met have been courteous and helpful, informing us of progress or any potential change/issue which may arise, explaining the options/requirements to guide our decision.
They take the time to listen to and address any questions or concerns you may have throughout the process.
I like to understand exactly what is happening and why so I know I can be a pain to traders, but they have never made me feel like so and I can tell they are passionate about what they do (special shout out to Julian for his clear explanations to the plumbing novice that I am).
I now have James' number on my speed dial list and am happy to recommend them.

James and his team replaced three of our heated towel rails and a leaking pipe in our airing cupboard. They were polite and professional at all times and we were very happy with the work done. It is good to know that we have a reliable plumber we can call upon when needed and that we can trust them to do a good job.

We had a slightly difficult build and understand this is never easy for trades people, working in tight conditions, space and timeframes. However, James was rude and 18 months down the road we are having to correct work he did... Poor service and due to his poor workmanship we are having to replace our ensuite shower tray and the glass he installed. He also failed to secure our toilets as well which caused other issues. I would avoid ever having work provided by him personally.... His team are polite but the standard of workmanship is below par.

James and his team a truly professional and enjoyable team to have working in your home. Quality of workmanship in the bathroom, utility room and our 5 star hotel en-suite with walk in shower looks great. Don’t forget the new combi boiler moved into the loft works great along with the all round building works where everyone so well and organised. Thank you James and team

Having not had a proper heating system for ten years James and the team have managed to solve the problem.We have proper heating for the first time.Would highly recommend.Felt at ease leaving them to get on with the job whilst carrying on going to work.

Reliable, friendly, prompt and professional service

I couldn’t be happier with the result. James and his talented team did a total refurbishment of the house including new single storey extension, kitchen, bathroom and complete new heating system.
They were reliable, respectful, tidy and all their work has been done to an extremely high standard.
I can’t praise them highly enough and would recommend them to anyone, and am looking forward to them starting the next stage, hard landscaping.

Our job consisted of installing a replacement heated towel rail and refurbishing a seized shower thermostat. Adam from the JLW team was friendly, efficient and tidy and completed the work with minimal disruption. Communication from the start and final invoicing by James was very timely and the overall cost was acceptable. I certainly recommend this company.

The J L Wellington team has recently completed a remodelling of our 40 year old house, including an entirely new heating system. We now feel we’re living in a cosy show home, a fantastic transformation.
