Such an excellent recipe box. Well worth the money. Not only are you getting high quality ingredients but the recipes are very well thought out and the tutorials are excellent. We've tried lots of different recipe boxes/ kits for kids over this years and this one is a 10/10. Just had a lovely dinner prepared by our son, very happy!

We’ve had a few boxes now with jnr chef and honestly we’ve been amazed each time. My little boy who is two and a half does them with us and he is so excited when he sees the delivery arrive. The food is amazing, our favourite is the chicken and chorizo pie! Our little boy is the fussiest eater and won’t try foods which was why we decided to try these boxes and even he loves the food and even tries it as it encourages him not only to cook and have fun but to try the food he has made which makes it exciting and brave to try more and new foods! The videos are amazing for the children to follow and I honestly wish I could give more stars! The quality of the food that comes is amazing and very well packaged.

We tried JnrChef just after Christmas for my son as he’d started enjoying helping with cooking. The website was very easy to navigate and order the food box from. They are very good with communication and very helpful. My emails were answered quickly with the questions I asked answered. There are also JnrChef Facebook pages with a little community on there. The food was very fresh and all the ingredients needed were included. I loved that the meat was locally sourced and the ingredients were of high quality. The instructions were easy to follow and my son loved the addition of easy small step by step videos, he needed minimal help. Just to make sure of safety really. The food was delicious and the quantity was perfect and fed myself, my mother, my son and we had leftovers for my son to enjoy the next day! Not only was there a main meal but a salad and prawn crackers from M&S. I love that we can pick and choose so if you don’t fancy the meal you can skip it and order when you do like it.

We've had one box so far from JnrChef for our 10 year old daughter and it was fantastic! She was able to follow along with the video and make a great meal with very little supervision. She really wanted to do some more cooking but the added independence this service offers is an added bonus. The meal itself was really good, amazing quality of ingredients and my usually fussy 8 year old son enjoyed it so much he asked her to make it again for his birthday. Really great concept, would definitely recommend, I might even purchase for my young teen nieces.

My son absolutely loves receiving his box every month and has developed more confidence in the kitchen as a result.
Chef Pete has a fantastic approach and his enthusiasm shows passion without being over the top. He has inspired my son to try new foods and new techniques e.g. bridge and claw chopping method.
I'm so pleased we found out about them.

Boxes arrive bang on time each delivery packed full of ingredients of an excellent quality. The video provides step by step, easy to follow instructions and the meals are fresh, healthy and nutritious!

JnrChef was brilliant from start to finish. Great communication with a text before delivery and handy delivery choices. The food was absolutely delicious, arrived well packaged with cold inserts, and the recipe was simple and fun to make. Portions were really generous – plenty for two days – which made it excellent value. Loved how healthy and fresh everything was. Highly recommend!

Portions were generous (easily enough for two days) and great value for money. Healthy, delicious, and hassle-free. Would definitely recommend for families and even couples!

This idea is wonderful... I am very keen for my 6 year old to understand how meals are prepared.
He loved the cook-along videos that were fun and easy to follow and getting each of the family to taste his creation was the best part.
