This was, by far, the most comprehensive test I've ever taken for an assessment like this and I really appreciate that. I've only seen the limited version of my report, but the personality section is... See more

I’m so grateful for the incredible support and guidance I received from Coach Christine Allen. Her coaching gave me the clarity, confidence, and tools I needed to take my career search to the next level. With her help, I landed an interview for a director role and made it to the next stage of the process — something I truly couldn’t have done without her expertise and encouragement. She has a gift for asking the right questions, providing actionable feedback, and helping you see strengths you may overlook in yourself. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to grow professionally and achieve their career goals.

They deserve a 1 star for scamming people into filling out their 30 min of questions then charging for it. They do it on purpose to make you invest and then punish you by withholding it when you don’t pay them. Trashy people and company. BAIT AND SWITCH WARNING. Low class company

Zanetta is truly one of a kind. From the start, she brought such positive energy, clarity, and encouragement to every session. She really took the time to understand where I was in my career and helped me build a plan that felt both achievable and aligned with who I am. What sets her apart is not just her expertise, but how much she genuinely cares. You can tell she’s passionate about helping people succeed—not just professionally, but personally too. I always left our conversations feeling more focused, more confident, and more hopeful. I can’t recommend her enough!

I gotten to a point in my life where I realize my career wasn't going to get me to a place I wanted. I felt stuck and didn't know how to go forward. So I worked with Nicole at JobTest. She was wonderful. She listened to what made me frustrated and what my priorities in life are. I was able to identify what possible careers would fit my needs and a clear way to pursue them. The notes she provided after each on our meetings were especially helpful.

Working with Linda at Jobtest.org has been an incredibly valuable experience. Over the past few months, she helped me gain clarity on my career direction and gave me actionable guidance to move forward with confidence.
From fine-tuning my LinkedIn profile to updating my resume, Linda's advice was both thoughtful and strategic. Her encouragement throughout the process kept me focused and motivated.
As a result of our work together, I just accepted an offer for a role that’s exactly what I was looking for—both in terms of role alignment and compensation. The final offer came in right in my target range, which is a testament to the preparation and positioning we worked on together.

Waste of time. I spent of bunch of time completing the survey for a FREE report. However, after completing, they ask for payment to see the report. I checked the page and there is not button or option for the free version. A scam and waste of time.

Coach Queen Ofori has been exactly what I needed at this stage in my career journey. What stood out most was her ability to meet me where I was, never rushing the process but guiding me at a pace that felt right while gently helping me move past mental blocks.
Her strength lies in helping you shift your mindset. She helps you recognize your value, reframe doubt, and move forward with clarity and confidence. I always left our sessions feeling more grounded, focused, and capable.
If you’re navigating a career transition or seeking clarity, I HIGHLY recommend working with Queen. She brings thoughtfulness, insight, and genuine care to the process, and that makes all the difference!!

My coach Kerri went over not only my resume, but we went over my strengths, weaknesses, things to improve on and gave me insight on how to better myself! She goes above and beyond with not only diving into what you have done in your career journey, but gets to know you as a person. I cannot thank you Kerri for the encouraging words and getting me right back on the path I was meant to be on! If you ever get Kerri as a career coach she is amazing! Best investment I spent on myself during my difficult journey.

Scam. I submitted all the answers to the questions, just to know that they only give any report (not even single information) with a fee.

I worked with Nicole Ellis and she was fantastic. She packed a ton of feedback and actions for me in every session. She has a ton of experience from working as an HR recruiter to coaching for C suite to entry level. I would highly recommend you check out her profile.

I really appreciated how they included so many careers in their database and the survey showed me a top job that I didn’t even know existed that I think I’d really love! Services are a bit expensive but I’m glad they allowed me to learn about myself a little more!

I had the pleasure of working with Shannon during a challenging point in my job search, and her support made a real difference. She brought clarity and energy to our sessions, helping me reframe my approach and identify concrete strategies I could put into practice.
What stood out most was how personalized her guidance felt, she took the time to understand my background, listen to my goals, and tailor our conversations to what I truly needed. I left each session feeling more focused and equipped to move forward.
If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed in your career, I can’t recommend Shannon enough. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely committed to helping you find your next step.

After 17 years in the retail grocery industry, I was ready to take the next step and transition into a new field. I wanted to put my best foot forward in the job search, and Marlo played a key role in making that happen. She expertly translated my experience and skill set into a resume that clearly demonstrated how my strengths could apply across industries. She also helped me revamp my LinkedIn profile to better reflect my goals.
Within a week of updating my profile, a local financial services company reached out to discuss an opportunity. In the weeks that followed, my resume opened doors to conversations and interviews with two additional companies.
The job search process today is completely different from what it used to be, and thanks to Marlo, I was able to navigate it with confidence. Instead of spending hours writing resumes and cover letters from scratch, I focused my energy on preparing for interviews. It was absolutely time and money well spent—I'm thrilled to say I start my new job in just two weeks!
Thanks again!
Amanda

I was working with Shannon to make a slight career shift when an opportunity at my current employer came up. Our sessions provided an opportunity to share my thoughts out loud, and get to the bottom of what I felt would make me truly happy. Her questions and insights were very helpful and I'm grateful for our time together.

Arrived on the site after a family member offered to finance 2 months of coaching for me. Saw the career personality test before signing up for the subscription and thought it would be fun to try!
The test was interesting. You have a mix of career-relevant questions and fun ones like asking whether you see a rabbit or duck in the famous ambiguous shape. The test will ask for your personal information throughout, such as zip code, phone number, and email address. When you complete the test, things are a little unpleasant, so heads up.
You will sit through fake loading bars for a couple minutes while a video plays. You can't skip it, because that would ruin the loading bar immersion. (Tip: You may be able to spot fake loading bars in the wild by their progress being too regular with no stalls, or if their completion perfectly lines up with the end of an unskippable video.)
Finally, after that, I was threatened "You will lose access to your report in: [countdown timer of about 15 minutes]" and shown payment options to access my report. Payment options ranged from $29.90 for minimal results including 5 recommended career paths and your career personality, to $99.90 (supposedly they took $50 off of a $149.90 normal price for today) for 10 recommended career paths and coaching.
I chose not make any purchases since the countdown pressure made me too uncomfortable, so I can't tell you what the actual result or coaching quality is. Spent time, gave away personal information, didn't feel good about it in the end.
EDIT: I received access to results for this test in an email later, even without making a purchase. Results included personality analysis, strengths, and a career recommendation (ironically for me, I was recommended the career I already have and am trying to branch away from). Star rating has been increased accordingly.

They offered a free career test when I searched for one on the web, but after 45 minutes of doing it, at the very END they finally said it would be $30 for a test.
What scumbags lure you into taking a super long test, saying it is free, but then rope you into +$30 at the very end? Very horrible experience. If they would tell you that payment is required BEFORE you begin the test, there would be no problem.

I didn't come to Jobtest to explore new options, but rather to break my same bad habits that cause me to spiral away from work/life balance and becoming a go-to doormat. Taking the test was moderately insightful, but I did really appreciate some of the references it gave because I can easily incorporate them into future job descriptions, reviews, and resume, since I struggle to make certain statements about myself and my work (hello, imposter syndrome!). But the best part of this whole process has been the opportunity to work with Linda Leake; her background aligns with mine, but her advice and guidance is invaluable. I have a half dozen sticky notes with Linda quotes around my desk to remind me how to get un-stuck, how to set clear boundaries, and give myself permission to explore options and grow my confidence for whenever I'm ready to move to my next adventure. My time with Linda has been well worth the investment, and the resources in the site are valuable if you take the time to process, save, and leverage them.

I discovered jobtest.org after seeing an ad for a similar service and searching reviews for it. I've always felt that I could do so much more than what I have up to now. I've worked basic jobs for basic pay, and most recently found a decent warehouse job. I still feel like I'm missing something in my career life and I feel like jobtest.org has helped me see my potential. Reading through the reports and learning that there are multiple opportunities for me not only made my day, it fuels me to set higher goals and keep working on myself to achieve them.
