I was previously with another company…

I was previously with another company for Zepbound. But decided to try Mochi, because the fees were less. The experience was great! The telehealth Dr was very nice and listened to my concerns and went over everything thoroughly

Deceptive billing

I am submitting a complaint regarding what I believe was a confusing and misleading recurring billing and cancellation process involving a semaglutide telehealth subscription service.

When I originally signed up, I was never clearly informed that the program involved two separate recurring subscriptions: one for the medication and another separate membership/service fee.

Later, when I canceled the medication portion of the service, I reasonably believed I was canceling the entire program. At no point during the cancellation process was it clearly disclosed that I also needed to separately cancel an additional recurring membership subscription.

As a result, I was charged $199 in ongoing membership fees after discontinuing the medication service.

After discovering the charge, I contacted the company and attempted to resolve the issue reasonably. I requested either a refund or reinstatement of the membership period I had already paid for. I also offered to continue paying the monthly medication fee for additional months so I could receive the benefit of the membership charge that had already been retained.

The company refused both a refund and any reasonable compromise.

My concern is that the company’s subscription structure, cancellation process, and recurring billing disclosures may be misleading to consumers and may cause customers to unknowingly continue being billed after believing they canceled their service.

We want to address this directly: Mochi Health does have two separate components, a Health Subscription covering access to your provider and care team, and a medication subscription for your treatment plan. Each requires independent cancellation. We make every effort to communicate this through our website FAQs, our eligibility flow, and the billing section of your patient portal, and we hear your feedback that it still wasn't clear enough at the point of cancellation. That is something we take seriously and are continuously working to improve.

We also want to acknowledge that you approached this situation reasonably and made multiple good-faith attempts to find a resolution. We're sorry those conversations didn't result in an outcome that felt fair to you.

Professionalism of Mochi People

The ease of signing up, having a 30 minute video session with Dr. Flaming, customer care answering questions and the delivery of my order. From start to finish everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional and responded quickly to my questions. Very grateful for everyone at Mochi.

Amazing service

It was so good to be true

My experience with Mochi Health has exceeded my expectations. My provider has been incredibly attentive, listened to all my questions and concerns, and made me feel truly heard. She offered thoughtful solutions, and I’m very satisfied with the care I’ve received. Honestly, it has been a much better experience than with my family doctor of many years. Highly recommend!

Update: My initial experience with Mochi Health felt almost too good to be true. I still stand by my opinion regarding my provider — she has been incredibly attentive, supportive, responsive, and has provided excellent care. She truly listened to my concerns and worked with me to find solutions, and I have nothing but positive things to say about her.

Unfortunately, my experience with Mochi’s pharmacy and support team has been a bit disappointing. My provider and I agreed on a prescription on May 18, and as of today, the medication still has not been shipped. When I contacted support, I was told the pharmacy had up to 10 days to send it (until May 28). On May 28, after still receiving no updates or tracking information, I reached out again and was told the case would be investigated. Another day has passed, and I still have no medication, no update, and no estimated delivery date.

Because of this, I still recommend Mochi for GLP-1 treatment, especially because of the quality of the providers. However, if you need any additional medications, it may be worth considering filling them through your local pharmacy to avoid delays and frustration.
