Their people cancel last minute. I had several days that went unpicked up so I received no help. I do not see them as dependable or reliable. I have contacted my insurance for other options.

I just finished my first task as a Papa Pal, and it was a very pleasant one! A very pleasant client who definitely seemed to enjoy the companionship. I do wish, though….that there could be more visits members sign up for that did not ask for cleaning(which I admit, I am not good at), so that I could help more members during the time I have available! The App seems very smooth and understandable so far!

I applied for papa pals because it said Boston jobs, after going through the long application process to be approved as a pal, only jobs I see are in Rhode island. A 50 mile ride away from home and isnt ideal at all!! Then they show natick with 5 miles away which it’s pretty much a 40 minute ride! Don’t say Boston jobs when they aren’t any in the Boston area! Not to mention the chat feature in the app really sucks! Do not ever call me to pick up a job that’s 40 minutes away from my home! Do better papa pal!!
False advertisement!! Waste of my time!!

Love the flexibility I have to work or not,since this is a second job .
Like meeting and helping people.
Also nice receiving bonuses that I didn't expect .

It's a great platform to make some extra money and also help someone in need. It's easy to use the app and if you have any questions you can chat with a Papa representative.

My experience is great.Papa gives you very great tools to do a successful job.All question are answered and anything you need help with is available.

Its an amazing app for the elders.

My first visit was to be last Sunday Nov 3rd and guess what 15 minutes before I got a call from the company and they said the person had an asthma attack so would I like to be rescheduled so I rescheduled again for this Sunday I'll keep you posted.

Awful in every way except the bond you build with these members. As Pals, we aren’t “allowed” to call the company we work for! We have to use a chat box and wait weeks on in to get our issues addressed, and rarely solved. They have just started taking away bonuses that have come with every VA Beach member for almost a year now, without an explanation. Even have “removed” a bonus after I accepted the visit. They don’t care if you’re sick or having an emergency the day of a scheduled visit, if you cancel you are penalized and threatened to be removed from platform. I have had completed visits with verification from the members that were taken from me and not paid. I had to submit a ticket and wait over 11 days to get the first response. Its sad. Its very sad. They do not take care of their Pals at all and expect someone to drive a lot of miles for $34 for two hours and pay 7$ plus in tolls, plus gas. It’s ridiculous. It was worth it with the bonuses, but now that they have just up and removed them without even warning us, its no longer worth it. I can make 34$ in under an hour with Uber and stay in my city. This will be my last year with them. I hate it for my members, because they don’t want anyone but me.. but I have bills. Its just unfortunate all the way around. But this company needs to get it together and treat their Pals much better.

2 hours isn't long enough and I work longer for less money

Need to e more efficient at handling time and mileage issues.

Papa is a wonderful company to work for. It gives me such joy to help others. I love that I can work as much as I would like.
