My mother was scammed (someone convinced her to purchase a gift card for them as part of the scam). I called to try to cancel through their phone number by reporting lost or stolen. They would do nothing without the credit card number. I don't have the card! How am I supposed to know what the number is? How is anyone supposed to have their card number if it was lost or stolen? I had the receipt but apparently that was not enough. Zero care or compassion from the customer service representative on the phone. Scammers, this card is a great choice for you!

I bought it from shoppers drug Mart when I try to use it, it said it’s not activated and when I called they customer service they didn’t help me.

This was supposed to be a $100 gift card. When I could not register or activate it online, I called customer service. The number (with live person) was not on the card - but I got it indirectly via their website. I was told by them that my $100 card (which I had not even registered or activated yet) had a balance of only 13 cents on it -and there have been some paypal transactions on this card (as some other reviewers have also mentioned). How is that even possible? I was then referred / transferred to the dispute team. The dispute team asked for my name, email, and mailing address before they could proceed to resolve the issue.
Considering this is a gift card, they should not insist on collecting my personal information to be able to assist me.
I honestly think they are scammers and other comments on this page only reiterate that suspicion. If there are multiple visa gift cards with exactly the same number, how can Joker be a legit business? If it is legit, it is certainly not one I would recommend or trust.
Is there anyone at all for whom Joker's gift card worked at first go?

The request from Joker asks for full name, phone number and email. Message for Joker - When I called you, you asked for full name, email and mailing address. When none of these were required to buy a card, why should they be required now? How do I know you won't misuse my information when you've already lost all credibility? If you genuinely want to help, you should help based on the card details. I was willing to provide email when I called but you said you will need a mailing address also- which I am not willing to share with people I don't trust. Also, you may then ask for ID verification - sorry you're asking for too much in return for a scam card that is nothing but a trouble-maker.

Well at least they got the name on the card right.DO NOT PURCHASE. I purchased a $50 card and by the time I paid for it go home and registered it I had balance of 23.42 on the joker card. Not to mention a $4.99 charge at the till. When I was able to see the transactions 2 of them where fees by the card company peoples and another charge that looked like it was a convenience store. Looked for a customer service # or dispute line but to no avail. Instead like so many other companies you have this long drawn out form and procedure to follow that most people dont bother. Well dont bother it got me nowhere . I received 1 call which I missed and 2 -3 days later I received an email saying the file is enclosed.What a JOKE ! As for PEOPLES please change your false name cause obviously your just another large company with billionaires making money off the working who actually support this country by paying taxes not like you bastards.

I received a card at the beginning of the year, I couldn't register it online as the website was down, so I registered it over the phone. I continued to have issues with it not working, so I tucked it away and didn't think about it again until today, tried to register again - didn't work. Tried to call - didn't work, tried to speak to someone on the phone - didn't work. There is $250.00 gone.

Didn't know this card was a scam. Learned the hard way. I registered my new card today and a few hours later when I tried to use it, the card was declined. When I got home, I saw on their webiste that someone had put sereval pay pal and tiktok charges on my card. Called all the numbers available for Jokercard.ca but it's a robot and can't talk to anybody.
DO NOT BUY THESE JOKER MASTERCARDS !!!

This goes directly out to Maurice as he's been the main recipient of reviews and the fact is the phone calls I endured just to get an operator was to select making a dispute which in the end as I did clearly explain the matter is that your automated system has the correct amount that was processed when making the payment to the vendor. The vendor's receipt matches that automated system of the amount of 33.90 and lastly jokercard.ca's website for checking the balance says the amount is 33.90 of the original sale. Yet the dispute department claims 47.00 on the system from the vendor. Jokercard is also a vendor it was a product created by two corporations so if this is not resolved by today I will go to those two companies and let them be very aware of the undergoings that are materializing behind their backs.

bought a card today, never used it, gets declined with every attempt at a purchase, either online or even at a gas station.. have the funds in my account. tried calling their joke of a 800 hotline, but there is no option for a card that doesn't work. you can check your balance, that's about it on the phone. definitely no option to talk to anyone. and what are the options for reaching them? no email address, but you can write them an effing letter snail mail. they literally want to sell you a horrible product and make it impossible to hold them accountable. done with this. absolute trash. shit show of pathetic weaslely horrible scheisters. If I could give a zero star I would ! They are a complete waste of money. I paid for 6 years with a joker prepaid card my Netflix subscription, and they decided out of nowhere that it was not possible anymore.
Their online website is lagging all the time, can never access my balance, not only that but they make you make twice the fee for activation. USE ANY PREPAID CARD BUT NOT THEM! STAY FAR AWAY.

Joker card is trash. I have been trying to access the balance and transactions on their website but keep getting an error message.
"We are unable to process your request at this time. If you continue to receive this error, please contact Cardholder services by calling the number on the back of your card."
I have used 4 different browsers as well as their various incognito and privacy modes with no change.
Problem is when you call the number on the back of the card it is a complete automated system, can't reach a human no matter what you select. The phone system tells you the balance and transaction amounts but not merchant names so I have no idea what merchant has a $27 charge we don't remember making, which also means there is no way for me to dispute the transaction. Doing online research, people have been unable to check balances on their website for at least 2 years, so I can't understand why they haven't fixed the issue.

This would be a zero, but I don't have that option. I brought 2 x $100 gift cards and only one worked. The auto message tells me the card wasn't loaded and to return to the retailer. The retailer said it was loaded and the report they get shows the money was taken from there account. The store won't do anything and I can't get to speak to a really person calling the number on the back. No one wants to take responsibility and I'm $100 out of pocket.

I have two Joker Mastercard prepaid cards and niether one will work. When I try to check the balance or register the card, I get an error message that the request can not be processed and to call the 1800 number. That is an other joke! you go in circles with the AI woman and never can speak to anyone! What a waste of money! DO NOT BUY a Joker Card because it is a joke!

This Joker card is an absolute joke. I didn't get any cash back for all of my purchases in Old Navy store (worth 122.97$) .
When I called customer service, first it's impossible to get to an agent unless you select an option to report lost or stolen card.
Then the agent has no idea what I am talking about. After a while, she said my card is not eligible for 5% cash back. I told her it's on your website and she said that might be some other sort of card.
This is absolute joke and I would recommend not to buy this joker card.
