wonderful shopping experience
This is a gem of a business. The shop is stocked with wonderful product, matched only by the amazing staff. I've been lucky enough to visit several times, although i've also purchased via their website & also direct via Instagram. All 3 methods of shopping have been excellent ( I just wish there was a branch nearer to where I live!)

A beautiful and unique shop, stylish, one of a kind. Staff really friendly and helpful. They care about what they sell and I always leave the shop with my purchases feeling very happy! The setting at Drove Orchard is lovely too. Go and find out for yourself!

I ordered a selection of items from joyful living,including some glass wear, cushions and candles. I'm blown away with the quality and how gorgeous all the items I received were. What a fantastic company! I'm extremely exited to visit the shop soon on my next holiday up in the area, I cant wait to see what wonderful items we will see!

Poor after sales.
Despite many years of loyal custom my Wife's recent experience of total lack of customer care has left a very nasty taste and a determination never to support this business in the future.
My Wife bought two candles and glass candlesticks recently. The candles were lit and during the course of just a meal they had totally burnt down and left rivulets of wax down the sticks.
On raising our concerns with the owner , we were told
It was caused "by the environment" . If that is the case there should be notification on the package warning that performance is affected by the environment.
We will be taking our custom elsewhere .

Dr Bower, I am so sorry you feel I didn’t respond with sufficient customer care to your wife’s’ complain this morning regarding her purchase of twisted dinner candles. Your wife called me this morning and expressed her dissatisfaction of the burn time and reaction to the candles burn which was described as having bent over in its environment. I responded immediately and said that I would burn the exact candle today to see how it burned as these are a new product for us so wanted to be sure of good value. I lit the candle at 11.10am immediately after speaking with your wife then called late this afternoon to say that the candle had burned perfectly for 3.5hrs so I anticipate this is a 4 hour burn candle. In my 30 years interiors career the only reason a candle will bend and burn quickly is a warm environment. I explained this to your wife this morning and also offered to burn one at the store to see how it compared. I called and left a message as to the result this afternoon as promised. Please do come in and I will refund you the £12 a without issue. I would always offer my customers a happy solution, your review is totally unjustified as I know we have always offered you excellent service however, if we haven’t offered enough service for you I wish you well experiencing this elsewhere.

Visited your beautiful Thornham store where we purchased the Ultimate Cotton Rug and we couldn't be happier with it. Will be back next time we're in Norfolk 😊
