Do not use, a scam!

A scam to get your banking info and then they charge all kinds of adult sites to your card! Do not use! I had to get my Mastercard and my Wise digital card frozen, and dispute back all the adult website charges! The sign up form tells you that your credit card is declined, when in reality they get the info and start charging adult website without your knowledge. Since my card was not working I tried Wise they cleaned out my account too! Out of $82 Cdn on my MC and $135 Cdn on my Wise card! It will several weeks if not months to recover if I can!

Very bad and unethical experience using Jumio for ID verification!!

I was in the process of getting rehired by an online company that I had worked for several years ago. They sent me a QR code that I used and it took me to Jumio for ID verfication. Jumio requested a bank card with the explanation that it was part of the ID process and the card would not be charged. When I entered my card info on screen a message stated that they could not accept master card and asked for a different bank card. I then put in a visa card. Both cards were fraudelently charged within a few hours by an online company not listed as Jumio and one of the cards has never been used for any online purchase ever. I have text notifications with both cards for any charges made online to be verified by me or rejected if no confirmation is given. I had to cancel both cards within a few hours of using Jumio.

No explanation, Felt violated

They made me feel like a criminal.
I'm nowhere even close to a criminal. Never in any trouble ❗
A Company ( I won't mention) made me change my password twice, change my email, download my D. L. Get my face scanned.
I'm still unable to use the app. Can not shop or communicate with venders.
Some big identity issue.
They created🤬
Then sent me to Google . Trying to make me allow Access to everything I have.
It was totally creepy.
It took about 15 attempts to get past the photos and scanning process. Did it work ❓I do not know nothing but little blue circles to view and tap to advance. No explanation what to do.
Very unstable system.
I don't even know if my whole identity upload nightmare was completed.
They give you no direction. No clue as to what's really going on.
And most frustrating is WHY❓
I HAD DONE NOTHING WRONG. ❗IM ACTUALLY PRETTY UNHAPPY ABOUT IT. .
My personal space interrupted for no reason ❗

Flat out does not work

Flat out does not work. I’m trying to use it to verify my passport and it doesn’t work at all and also doesn’t give me options for what to do if it doesn’t work. Terrible product, makes me less likely to use the app it is connected to as well.

Jumio does not have adequate ID…

Jumio does not have adequate ID verification software capabilities. Our investigative team forged documents for one of their clients' website verifications and they passed it through without second-guessing or questioning it. The live agents were clueless and did not appear to be component or trained in their jobs.

Jumio experience sucks

United Airlines uses Jumio to capture passport info. Capture is supposed to be “automatic”. Except it never captures anything. Moved in and out. Rotated to every position. Nothing. After 10 minutes of trying with no results, what are my options? Why can’ta Manual photo button be provided?

Utterly shocked at the regular complete…

Utterly shocked at the regular complete outages they have and how their team doesn't respond for weeks. We just had our second full service outage where the product we're paying Jumio for was not working and the safety of our customers was severely impacted. All of our users with Samsung phones couldn't get their identity verified so we lost a lot of revenue from denying those customers. The Jumio team advised to use a less secure product instead and said they have no ETA on fixing the issue. When asked what they're going to do to keep us as a customer after this they fell silent for two weeks (and still haven't responded)

We are running from Jumio and would advise the same - we're looking at Persona as our next option which we're hoping will be more fruitful

WARNING - They outsource their product to a third party company, they've told me multiple times they have no control on the product itself or the amount of time it takes to fix issues

Absolute Garbage

Absolute garbage, and to be happening for this long and they aren't doing anything about it. The crap software will NOT engage the focus on any phone camera, and I have a Galaxy S20 and the native camera app works perfect. Jumio is complete crap.

SO GLITCHY & UNRELIABLE

This company’s identity ID system sucks! I was attempting to place an order to be delivered. This order was also age appropriate, hence the ID proving age. I spent way too much time hovering over the very temperamental frame that was supposed to take the pic and hopefully move on…. Don’t exhale yet… next step you turn the same ID over to the back try to match the barcode that is supposed to be captured by the camera automatically…..nope!
POS Thought my arm was going to fall off!
