Jumio sucks more than a black hole

I have been verified in multiple services that use a variety of automated verification tools.

I never had any issues , was verified within a few minutes, but JUMIO? JUMIO does... not... work , PEDIOD , any company that uses it should be ashamed.

You have to GUESS if the picture of the document you take is OK for Jumio ( pictures taken with phones like S21 and yes the pictures are fine) , IF you manage to get through that there is the MOST HORRENDOUS face verification EVER in the history of the cosmos , more than 35 attempts and still it "did not recognize my face" , ONCE it DID and on the next step ? "SOMETHING WENT WRONG" TRY AGAIN.

You have to be KIDDING ME.

I have never seen a most broken verification tool , it sucks more than a black hole , and It is the sole reason I can not work with the service that employs that tool.

Whoever spends a cent on that thing is a moron and should be fired from any company.

Useless

Worst of them all. I have never failed a KYC, except in the cases when I've been forced to use Jumio. Incredibly bad. Buggy, closes down without warning. The facial recognition process is a 1 out of a hundred go. The photo-your-ID-process basically never works due to blurry images. App getting stuck "verifying" for 24 hours or more and so on.

On top of that, customers should know about Jumio's controversial biometric data storage policies.
Some companies using Jumio even offers manual handling to avoid later problems (Everest Finance is one example).
It's highly questionable if Jumio's handling of biometric data is legally okay in Europe and the UK and they have been in court more than once in the US about this issue. There's, once again, an ongoing lawsuit in Illinois at the time of writing.

Jumio is big data harvesters, equipped with useless software. Can the combination get any worse?

Incompetence at its GREATEST

Everyone uses them yet they're absolute garbage and always manage to get on my nerves with their KYC process, it either it won't focus the camera, or the image won't appear at all and you need to take a picture to actually see what it's been looking for, or the face recognition won't work, NOTHING EVER WORKS, DESPITE DOING EVERYTHING RIGHT.

Not sure who's behind this pathetic company but all I want for Christmas is for you to just disband your group of interns and begone from the space so someone comes in your place and does it correctly, incompetent morons

We need to talk about KYC

We need to talk about KYC, and Jumio in particular. Every platform is doing KYC through but it simply DOESN'T WORK. Awful, you are taking services away from people be acting as a gate, and it's always locked!

Devs must be embarrassed

Came here to share a bad experience, was not surprised. If you want to annoy your customers with an awful experience, use this joke of a company's tools - devs should be embarrassed - anyone with this company on their CV should quietly delete and find real employment.

HSBC - Jumio - A chaotic shambles

This is the worst experience I have ever had using the HSBC system. One more case of automation replacing humans to the detriment of the customer.
I've wasted an entire day trying to use their bloody awful system and got absolutely nowhere.
HSBC should be ashamed of themselves for this chaotic shambles.

Influence peddling?

Jumio rejects all real documents, skrill does not return 300 USD.

If you are an business man you will earn with this company by retaining people's money.
But in the long run you will receive massive complaints for withholding legal money.

So fast and it always works

I don't know how they do it, you approach your ID from the webcam, you take a picture. It takes not that long before getting verified with ID and passport. I had to confirm an account for myself and for my company. They took both my passport and national ID without any problem. The process is fast, there is no chit chat or whatever, it is very straight forward. In the matter of 30 minutes i was surprised, ID was approved.

It is really great. It is way better than IDnow
