Absolutely butchered by Meredith at Jungle Red

Stay Away from Jungle Red AND Meredith (an employee there)

Photos here of Meredith (so you can identify her) and before/after pics of my hair.

I’d been a loyal client at Jungle Red for years. That ended the day Meredith—a so-called “Top Tier Stylist”—butchered my hair beyond repair.

After 1.5 years of growing it out, I asked for a light trim. Instead, she razored through my hair from every angle. I couldn’t see the back until it was too late. My hair was left shredded, uneven, and destroyed. Even Meredith looked shocked by how much she’d cut off.

When I returned, her only response was, “Aww, I’m sorry you don’t like your cut.” That’s not an apology—that’s condescension. The owner, Lisa Travis, refunded the cut but refused to take any real responsibility. I asked if they’d help cover the cost of corrective work—she smugly declined, claiming extensions “weren’t possible.” She was wrong. Other stylists proved it could be done and temporarily fixed what Jungle Red ruined.

Their “top-tier” ranking system is a joke. Meredith lacks skill and judgment, and Lisa Travis clearly doesn’t value her clients enough to make things right.

It’s been 10 MONTHS, and my hair still hasn’t recovered. I’m posting photos so you can see the damage for yourself.
Do not trust this salon. They do not stand behind their work.
