Despite having an email from them…

Despite having an email from them confirming that their service to me had been stopped and my account closed they continued to take €45 per month from my bank. for 3 months.

When I challenged them they reluctantly paid me back €45, I then engaged again And some muppet referred to their 90 DAY rule. 90 day rules do not apply when you are illegally taking money from people's accounts.

I finally got the 3rd repayment back, but no apology. It was a 'misunderstanding'!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE

Customer Service / Technical Support currently zero no response

I have previously given JustAnswer a 5-star rating, but my recent experience warrants 1 star. I hope Trustpilot does not mind, because I can attach/provide snaps of my recent debit card payments to them as long as that is allowed or requested separately by email. I have paid 3-4 payments to them in the last few days. It is negative but not fake. Don't say I am a buyer and seller of fake reviews, They still have great advisors. The problem is with customer service. I suppose I should be giving feedback on the Irish website because I live in Ireland. My figures are given in sterling, maybe because I lived in the UK at the time I registered on Justanswer.

I had to change my debit card. I have made a more detailed complaint, specifying my exact transactions and difficulties adding debit cards to Justanswer support, who are taking inordinately long to reply. I have also made screenshot showing their BOT is blind to the word "complaint". I looked on Rocketreach, and emailed what shows up as Vice President of JustAnswer

I have an emergency to speak to a lawyer, as I need the next step with my lawyer no longer representing me. I need to contact the court urgently asking for an adjournment. The problem is I dont know which court and these UK numbers are not answering, and Citizens advice wont help as I am not in the UK.

I found a great legal advisor on JustAnswer, and have been in dialogue with him for 2 days in two days between struggling to use debit cards. So far paid £15 from ***8790 on 26.5.2026, £33 from ****1983 on 5.6. 2026, £17 and £33 from ***4202 in the last 48h, I have said enough re payments. Money does not grow on trees and I am on Government disability

To help with my tricky issue, the expert will charge another £122 but my existing card wont work even when there are sufficient funds on it, and I cannot change the card to a card that I have already used successfully on their site. It says your card is not accepted by our preprocessor.(Have screenshot). But lady on the phone cannot understand a thing, and keeps repeating, call your bank. She hangs up before you can say cheese.

One mentioned she "cannot do anything" at all.

I gave up after a brave struggle, I cannot make this payment £122 and in a legal emergency cannot use this advisor. Finally the advisors themselves lack technical
support, because the can send a request for payment for a premium service only once.
If that button does not for some reason not result in immediate payment, he cant ask again and the customer has to start another new question and repeat paying the basic rate of £33. So customer must pay twice,

You can argue they are making more $$$ that way, but what I see is that the technical support people have left, and the site is being run entirely by people who answer the phone.

Eventually "lack of anyone who can do anything" is surely going to cause many other users problems. They stood me up and wont respond I feel 1 star is appropriate.

Good advice but understand that you are signing up for a monthly subscription

I was charged £40 for a one-off (As I thought). It turned out this was actually a monthly subscription of £50. I have tried to cancel and although they mention a cancel button, it is nowhere to be seen. Reported to credit card provider and bank. BTW Nothing wrong with the advice, but I did not want a subscription. However since I wrote this review I have had some courteous and helpful emails with the company who have been able to cancel the subscription. I think they will now be making the situation clearer.

avoid completely

I asked a question. I was directed to pay 5 euro. I did. I did not get a resolution to my question. I noticed today that I was charged 49 euro on the 18th of each month. Jan Feb and March. I have had no contact with them since the 11th of January, so I have no idea what I am being charged for. I sent an email to them today and the reply I got said I subscribed to .

Sneakly put me on the monthly subscription 😡

Put me on the monthly subscription without my consent or any notification. I had no idea until I saw the bank statement. Scammy.
The legal advice was very generic and not really helpful. I would get the same answer from the AI overview in Google.

Absolutely abysmal service from this…

Absolutely abysmal service from this company. I paid for a question to be answered, was matched with an expert and that was the end of contact from JustAnswer.
There was no response from the assigned expert, despite me sending him several messages,
Then, I got a message that the query was closed by a moderator, without any further responses or explanation as to why it was closed.
I am amazed at the huge number of positive reviews. I have had nothing positive to relate.
It is impossible to contact customer service, as Pearl, the Chatbot, sends you on a continuous loop of logging into your account.
It appears designed to confuse and deter the user from any further pursuit of an answer.
Avoid this site as it’s a money drain.

They scammed me

I got onto this company a couple of months back because there was problems with my phone they said they could give me solutions for just 1 euro so I paid it none of the solutions worked and then the bank rang me saying they took out I think 35 euro one month ago and then tried again but the bank realized that it was suspicious so rang me and told me to get onto them and get a confirmation email saying they won't take anymore money but they never got back to me so the bank put a block on the company do not trust them or they will be taking money out of your bank without you knowing anything
