I agree with all of the bad reviews. Paid 3.00 last week to ask a question about my washing machine and lo and behold I suddenly see 30.00 is taken out of my account today. There was no mention of a subscription - it is indeed scandalous. However - the engineer I had a live chat with was quite helpful but knew nothing about the financial side of things as I asked him at the time if I was going to be tied into something - he just told me to contact JustAsk direct - wouldn’t surprise me if the experts have to pay a fee to join so JustAsk are conning everyone - experts and customers alike!

I paid £5 to ask for some legal advice. I found out that I was signed up for a subscription without my knowledge. They have been taking £50 out of my account for months. There is no way I would take out a subscription without getting value for money. The customer service time stated that after paying the one off payment of £5 that, I had a 3 day cooling off period then, I would start paying a subscription fee. This is ridiculous. There was no notification from them. The website did not even help me. They set up the subscription automatically once they have your bank details it’s difficult to detect and cancel. This has been going on for well over a year. My fault for not checking my statement earlier. They refuse to reimburse. The subscription was taken out without me knowing with having no service for this subscription payment. Outrageous and scandalous behaviour

Paid £5 to ask a question for which I received an answer but then without informing me and without any notice used my payment method to set up a £35 "membership fee". I only noticed by chance before they took any monies and cancelled the payment. I quickly recieved an email saying my "membership" had been cancelled...I never signed up for any membership or any associated fees or was made aware of any. AVOID Just Scam!

the payment said 1euro. when i paid the 1 euro it took 59euro as a membership fee. it was not stated there was a memebership fee automatically taken. and it will renew automatically every month unless you cancel

I used 5 pounds which I thought was a 1 time thing and they charged me 38 pounds FOR NO REASON. I never subscribed to them and in no shape or form did they make it clear when you pay for advice you’re automatically put on subscription and deducted money from my account. Please don’t trust this scammer company. The moment you put your bank details they will deduct money from your account. Not worth it at all and the 5 pounds advice they give you is on google for free. They are just scammers. No regard to their customers.

They will charge you £50 for membership every month which you are automatically on just for signing up. Answers are not better then Google search ( I’ve googled my answers before I used them)

Rip off, save your money. The payment on the site said 5$ but when I paid with ApplePay I was charged 51$. I got cut off in the middle of talking in regards to my question and the customer service did the same thing.

Ask to pay a £1 told they would call us , no call charged £35 for nothing and set up a subscription without our knowledge.
Stay well clear , rip off company still waiting my £36 to be refunded.

Somehow ended up paying 28.00 per month for a membership I didn't ask for.
Impossible to contact them via their website. Puts you straight through to ask another question.

This company is taking funds from the public.They ask for £5 for ‘expert’ advice on line to a query. However, having captured bank info to pay, they use the details to set up “membership” without our knowledge and take £50 a month. I have received no communication yet they have taken £150 from my account which I was not aware of or given option to unsubscribe til checking with my bank.

I contacted JustAsk on 6 Aug for advice about my PC. They told me they made a £1 charge for one off advice but £35pm charge if I wanted to join. They did not solve my problem and I told them I did not want to join or enter into any contract. Subsequently they have made 2 unauthorised charges to my account, of £35 in August and again this month. I have reported them to my bank. They seem like scammers.

The Worst! IS INDEED A SCAM! I was told it was going to be a one time trial fee. Got charged 70 usd. Called them 10 minutes later and cancelled my account and they didn’t even bother to help for a refund. Called their costumer support and same thing happened.

What a disappointment….I got really helpful advice using the trial subscription back in January. I then discovered I was being charged £50 a month. I used the 3 day window and I did not knowingly sign up to anything. Needless to say on contacting I was given no explanation or refund despite their being able to see that I had not made any further requests for advice.

A great shame as the solicitor who helped was really good and I would have otherwise recommended.

Divyansh did a great job. He solved my problem in minutes, that I had been trying to fix for a week or more.
However, "Pearl", whoever or whatever that is, doesn't listen worth beans. When "she" asked how it went I said my problem was solved, but she/it insisted on referring me to another expert. What the heck?

Called to speak with an expert and was happy to pay the one off fee to speak with the lawyer. They however subscribed me for membership under their small print within a 3 day trial.
I was surprised after they took funds for membership out and requested a refund.
Surprising to know that although they operate within the UK and EU which allows 14 days cooling off period, they will not even refund you if you are within the period. That clearly tells you the kind of business they are.

TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!
They lead you to believe that you will pay only $5 to use the expert.
But THEN suddenly and without your permission they begin charging $35 for a membership fee that you did not agree to.
Additionally this membership fee is charged to your charge card at random times. My last 2 charges were only 4 days apart.
I have canceled the membership that I never signed up for and am disputing the charges.

Can I just say this company has to be the biggest scam company ever, plus they have taken instructions from some one who has stole my wallet credit card and used them on line to register my name and details with justask after £5 was taken out first payment a further 3 £27 per month has been taken out and I have just been notified by my partner, I have never been in touch with this company. That are scammers I have been in touch with fraud, I have already had a New card and still they have taken money out of my account. How do they do that. Please please keep an eye on your bank accounts these scammers will take your money
