Jay did an amazing job on our bathroom, what started as a simple tiling job turned into a complete transformation.

He kept us updated throughout (rare in my experience!) and checked in on decisions we hadn’t even thought about, which made a big difference to the final result.

Really happy with how it turned out, would definitely use him again and 100% recommend.

Jay was hard working, punctual, and adaptable to our wants. He delivered exactly what he proposed to do and even reduced the bill when some of the proposed work wasn't needed. I now have an amazing ensuite. His prices were reasonable and had no hidden costs. A great guy.

Jay is a true professional and down to earth. I recently had my roof done and come rain or snow he was up there working hard. Throughout the works, he kept me updated and I had no hesitation in letting him carry on without being there looking over his shoulder. I am always hesitant when it comes to any building works as youhear so many stories, but I am sure glad that it was Jay who replaced my roof. As a result, the roof looks amazing and I am very happy with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending Jay to anyone and if I can give him a higher star rating than 5 I would. Jay has recently fitted a new bathroom for us. His work ethic is fantastic, he was always prompt and explained everything that he was going to do in detail. A very likeable guy, and totally reliable. His tiling is superb. Would highly recommend him to anybody.

Over the moon with the quality of work on my new roof, from start to finish, the company was professional, reliable, and easy to work with. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left everything spotless when they were done. My roof looks fantastic now and I have peace of mind knowing it was done right.

Jay came and fixed an under the bath issue and did a great job! Easy communication, tidy and clean- exceeded our expectations! Very personable, even helped with pumping up my flat car tyre which was outside of his remit, just to be helpful!

Jay was recommended by a neighbour and I can honestly give 5 star for his work, I was having my bathroom installed while I was away so had to trust him with keys to my home, and totally trust him , Jay sent photos everyday of updates & txt me , when I returned my house was spotless ( and he bought me milk & bread as he knew I was returning early hours of the morning) so very thoughtful, he takes a lot of care and very precise with is work , I genuinely have no hesitation in recommending Jay

Jay tiled our bathroom floor and we are very happy with the professional way he carried out the work and the excellent result. We chose his company because although he gave not the cheapest cost estimate, he indicated what was possible and how to deal with tricky issues, and it was clear he had the relevant expertise. He was punctual and left himself enough time to do the work properly without any shortcuts. We were impressed when he single handedly dismantled and reassembled a large IKEA cupboard. He has an intelligent approach and takes pride in his work and wants to see it well done, for example removing the toilet bowl to tile underneath, filling holes or replacing broken wall tiles to give a neat overall finish. Added to his sterling work his friendly, polite manners make this a truly five star review!

Jay has been incredibly considerate whilst the work of renovating the bathroom has been undertaken. He went beyond expectation on making sure that facilities were usable throughout the process.
From the onset of giving a quote for the work , he has communicated well on dates and the process.
Very pleased with the end result - bathroom looks like a show room.
All work carried out brilliantly - tiling exceptional.
All rubbish etc collected in a very prompt manner.

Transformed my flat, would not hesitate to recommend

I used JY Home Improvements for a full refurbishment of my dated 3-bedroom property, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The team gave the place a fresh, modern feel and were amazing to work with throughout.

Communication was excellent before, during, and after the project. I always felt involved, was consulted on every key decision, and got great advice when needed. The scope of work was clear, and everything was delivered to a high standard.

I’m super happy overall and will definitely be using them again for the next phase. Highly recommend!

Jay did an outstanding job on our roof, he is incredibly thorough with a great eye detail. He also fitted a brand new external extractor fan. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Absolutely fantastic experience. I asked Jay to do my en suite bathroom on the recommendation from a neighbour and I’m so glad I did. His work is amazing. He is tidy and clean during renovating our bathroom. The finished work was within the quote he gave us. The finished bathroom is just beautiful and exactly as we wanted. He communicates and involves you in any decision making throughout. We are so happy with his work, he is going to come back and do our main bathroom

This was the second job Jay has done for us, this time installing floor tiles in both the kitchen and bathroom. Once again, Jay proved himself to be a true craftsman and did an excellent job. We are extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone.

We chose you from your reviews and photos of your work ,Jay came to do a quote and then gave a date to start the work and thankfully you stuck to it as we had no working shower , you worked in a tidy manner and kept us updated every step of the way , finding good tradesmen these days is up and down but we will be using these guys again . Of all the trades we've had working on our house renovation Jay has been by far the most reliable and professional, he has a relaxed can do attitude, and takes pride in all aspects of his work. We cannot fault his work at all.
