I subscribed to Kaiber and within hours realized the platform does not deliver what it promises. Despite clear evidence that the service failed to perform to a reasonable standard, customer support was rude, dismissive, and refused a refund. Save yourself the frustration — avoid this platform.

I love when a company attacks my character when their website doesn't work properly!! yay. I was spoken down to and gaslit by one of your associates, which understandably left me frustrated on top of the frustration of investing my hard-earned money into a new platform that I genuinely wanted to like and support.

I raised concerns within two hours of subscribing, provided evidence of materially deficient service, and demonstrated that the same materials produced better results using the same model directly via Luma.

Your Terms of Service, Section 3.1, clearly state that refunds are permitted where service delivery is materially deficient . Nowhere do your terms require customers to provide a "perfect" or "expert-level" prompt to qualify for a refund. That is not the standard you agreed to.

I acted in good faith, tested the platform promptly, and demonstrated that materially better results were achievable with the same inputs using the same model directly via Luma. The service did not perform to a reasonable standard, and that is the basis of my refund request — not any alleged lack of prompting skill.

It is disappointing that instead of addressing the substance of the complaint, you chose to deflect and blame the customer. I stand by my experience and my review.

You are clearly showing that you did not properly review the evidence I submitted. I made two creations on Luma: one using Ray 2 and one using Ray 2 Flash, the same model i used your platform. The Ray 2 Flash creation made directly on Luma was a usable result. In contrast, I generated nine outputs on your platform — and not a single one was usable.

Your Terms of Service (Section 3.1) state that refunds are permitted where service delivery is materially deficient. They do not state that refunds are conditional upon achieving a specific level of prompt "foundation" or technical expertise.

You have repeatedly implied that I am a beginner or lack understanding of AI tools. Suggesting that a customer’s dissatisfaction stems from incompetence rather than addressing the facts is a direct attack on their credibility and character. This is not professional behavior.

I acted promptly, submitted clear evidence, and requested a refund within hours of subscribing. Offering credits after poor initial results does not substitute for delivering a product that functions to a reasonable consumer standard from the outset.

It is a shame that instead of taking responsibility for deficiencies in your platform, you continue to shift blame onto the customer.

I provided a Dropbox link containing both my Luma creations and my Kaiber creations, clearly showing the comparison between outputs. The Ray 2 Flash model — the same model you use via API — produced significantly better results on Luma's own platform.

Further, I can see from Dropbox activity logs that the file showing the Luma Ray 2 Flash creation was viewed twice by someone on your team — once on April 24 at 7:42 PM and again on April 25 at 4:32 AM​​. Therefore, your claim that I never submitted this evidence using the same model on both sites is simply inaccurate.

In all honesty, as I mentioned in previous emails, I genuinely wanted to like your platform. I have been working with AI for two years and have greatly enjoyed exploring its creative potential. However, the rising costs of using multiple platforms led me to seek a more consolidated solution. When I heard about Kaiber, I was hopeful it would meet that need. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of the generations produced through your platform compared to direct use of the same models elsewhere. I provided clear evidence of this, but from the beginning, my concerns were met with a condescending tone and dismissive attitude, which made an already frustrating situation even worse.

Achieving good results with any AI generator requires a foundational understanding of prompting. Unfortunately, the prompts you provided were not well-suited for AI video generation.

Our team took the time to guide you through proper prompting techniques and even demonstrated the kinds of outputs possible when prompts are used effectively. We offered you credits back to retry with improved prompting, which you refused.

Edit 1:
No one is attacking your character. We help numerous newcomers to AI daily with prompt mechanics and video generation. We acted in good faith and provided extensive information about prompt input, best practices, and what could be improved.

Expert or perfect prompting isn't required, but a foundational level of prompting is necessary for quality outputs - which we happily advised on. The Luma generation you created was not using the same model as you claimed, and the output we provided showed the correct model and output quality. We offered credits back to retry, which you dismissed.

We are not responsible for prompting choices - there is nothing wrong with the software, as shown by generations using correct prompting.

Edit 2:

You did not provide evidence using the same model, nor did you submit prompt evidence. You were clearly shown output quality using correct prompting - we submitted several videos using the same model that were far above the quality you achieved in your 9 attempts and Luma import.

If a user inputs a prompt that is not suitable, we cannot be held responsible if the output isn't as expected. Correct prompting is the cornerstone of AI generation - VIVO (Value In, Value Out). Being descriptive and specific is key.

There is no deficiency in the platform. I use it myself on many projects without issue using correct prompting techniques.

We strive to educate and help users at all levels. As a support and prompt education team, we spend significant time with users building, adapting, and crafting their prompts and experience. We work with numerous creatives who have produced incredible work through effective prompting.

You produced 9 videos using the same prompt for each. We changed the prompt and created a smooth transition, showcasing the Luma model on our platform. The models like Luma, Runway, Kling, and Minimax are identical to those on the main sites and not adapted in any way - they are generated via the same model.

We offered you the return of credits to redo the generations and work with you to achieve the results you were looking for. This offer still stands, and I'm always open to a 1:1 session to showcase the comparisons.

Videos are dreadful and the Superstudio…

Videos are dreadful and the Superstudio is unwieldy and nonsensical. Complete waste of money and credits. I do not believe the reviews on here. I've been making AI video professionally for over a year and this is my worst experience yet. To be honest, I've only used it three times. But the third time was a final fling to see if I had just been unlucky. Back to Midjourney and Runway for me.

Fantastic customer support...

Fantastic customer support...
Made a mistake and used up almos1 half my credits in just one video.
The team kindly refunded my the credits I used up accidentally.
That I call customer support from the finest.
Highly recommend KAIBER to anybody who is into AI video creation ;-)

Thieves.

I found most videos not to be so great and credits get used up really quickly, although things might have improved since.

I had a subscription with them for months and had a sudden bereavement, causing me to keep my subscription but not being able to use it for months, so I had lots of credits raked up and decided to cancel my subscription, thinking I could use those later.

After a long period of intense grief and trauma, I felt ready to get back to it.

But I wasn't allowed to use up my credits. Even though I paid for them! Kaiber were very unhelpful and not able to help me.
I call them thieves. Taking my money but not allowing me to use the credits I paid for, nor were they willing to refund them.

Credits are allocated with your subscription and are used specifically to cover the cost of compute power (GPU costs) during generation. if you create 10 videos and I create 50, we each pay according to the resources we consume.

The subscription itself grants access to the platform's features, for which Kaiber incurs ongoing monthly charges. The subscription covers theses charges as well.

To use credits outside of a plan with full features, there would be additional charges since credits only cover the compute cost. For example,

Credits can roll over into free plans or be saved for future plans, which is a standard practice across most AI platforms that use credits. Typically, when you unsubscribe from other AI services, you lose any remaining credits.

Additionally, I've been actively monitoring support communications throughout the week, and I haven’t seen any messages from you regarding this particular request.

When you subscribe to a plan, it covers a specific period, whether monthly or yearly, based on your choice. The subscription pays for your access to the platform, and along with it, credits are allocated to allow you to generate videos, with the costs measured based on usage. If you're unable to use all your credits within the plan period, we allow them to roll over.

These rolled-over credits can be used in a subsequent subscription, saved for a future plan, or even applied to a free plan. However, they don’t grant access to premium features, as they are strictly used to cover the compute costs incurred when generating content. GPU providers charge us for this compute when videos are generated, meaning if I create 10 videos and you create 50, we both use credits according to our respective usage.

A subscription covers the overall costs of the software, including any third-party services, whereas credits are purely for the compute costs—this is standard across all AI platforms, not just Kaiber. Credits exist to account for the cost of generating content.

I'm disappointed in your rating, as I believe this was clearly explained in the service chat.

Love this platform

Love this platform. Love the animations I can make. The staff is super helpful and the quality is great. Can't say enough about how much of a help it's been to our content creation workflow. Mad props to the team for making such a great platform. And shout out to Phil for being super helpful!

Title: Ongoing Subscription Issues and Unauthorized Billing Attempts

I have had a very frustrating experience with Kaiber AI. Despite canceling my subscription multiple times and informing their support team, they continue to attempt to charge my account and send me emails requesting updated billing information. I no longer use their service and have made it clear that I do not authorize any further charges.

What is even more concerning is that they seem to ignore my requests for cancellation and continue to treat my subscription as active. This is unacceptable and feels like a violation of consumer rights.

I have contacted them repeatedly and even mentioned applicable consumer protection laws, yet they persist in trying to bill me. If this issue is not resolved immediately, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to consumer protection authorities and my bank to block further charges.

I would advise potential customers to be cautious before signing up, as canceling the subscription has proven to be incredibly difficult and frustrating.

We received your email on a Sunday, and as the system notifies, we're back on Monday. However, your review was also placed on Sunday. We’re a small start-up, but we respond to all customer inquiries without fail. I believe your review doesn’t fairly reflect our commitment to users.

Regarding the attempted charges, our records show no cancellation request was made. The system tried to renew, but since the card on file was removed, it failed. Removing the card doesn't cancel the account, which is why the system attempted to renew multiple times as part of standard procedure.

No charges were made because of the removed card, and it's normal for the system to retry a few times before cancelling to account for potential payment issues.

It’s important to note that we don’t operate on Sundays, and the system does inform users of that. For the record, this issue has already been resolved by cancelling the account for the user which occurred on the Monday morning.
