We’ve been using Kajabi for a long time, but this latest update has been extremely disappointing.
Kajabi loudly promoted their new AI subtitles feature as a big improvement, so we planned our latest course around it and even advertised to our customers that subtitles would be available, just like always. In reality, the AI subtitles come with a tiny limit that we burned through after translating only a few minutes of content. After that, the feature is basically unusable.
What makes it worse is that Kajabi actually removed the previous option to manually add multiple languages and subtitles. So not only is the AI feature practically useless because of the small limit, but there is also no manual workaround anymore. There’s no way to increase the limit, no paid upgrade, no add-on – nothing.
Support has been no help at all. They just repeat that “there is no option” and “thanks for your patience,” while we’re left with a course promoted with subtitles that we can’t deliver. For a platform that positions itself as a serious solution for course creators, this is simply unacceptable.

It's just imposible to cancel the plan.
The button to cancel the plan does not work, I've asked by email multiple times to get it cancelled but they dont cancel it for me and I can not cancel my self because the button does not work.
Obviously they are trying to charge me constantly when I've been trying to close my account 2 months ago...

I sadly had to close my business at the end of October. I had customer refunds to process and one payment received. Fast forward 11 days and they have not pushed through from my connected bank account despite the funds being there and despite my repeated messages to the support team. I have just logged in the message again and I am now being told because my subscription has ended, there's nothing they can do?! What on EARTH? No live chat, no phone number. I have absolutely no idea what to do. My customers are due refunds and I have a payment that I've not received. I desperately need help.

I paid $99 for a trial period. After 3 months, they put me on the pro plan for $399 per month. Why?
I was dealing with 2 deaths in my family and wasn't aware. When my credit card company alerted me, I was shocked to see all the charges for an ongoing subscription plan @$399 per month.
Immediately, I went to log into kajabi and couldn't get into my kajabi account due to the non-usage so why were they charging me?
Is it just another money hungry marketing company without ethics?
I tried different things during my trial but didn't like the boxy layouts. Might work for some people but just was not for me. The web designs/landing pages don't look nice. I tried to add some coding and that didn't flow properly. So I was not going to use them.
After I was made aware, I wrote an email to their customer service. The response was too bad.
There's no phone number, no communication avenues, no other way to contact them. That's it from their end.
Now I have to deal with my credit card company to see what they can do to get my $1200 back.
So sneaky.
During the trial period, they got all my credit card information.
I would have loved to speak to an actual human and provided my feedback, or found a solution for lead generation, anything to get me back on track after I lost 2 important people in my life.
Their phone number given on the internet doesn't go anywhere. There is no way to communicate.
I'm not new to this business, I've been an entrepreneur for 25 years. As a single small business user starting over again...this is wrong at so many levels.
I have known kajabi from their inception days and felt a sense of trust. I didn't know their business ethics fell so low.
Those people they advertise to have success with testimonials have whole teams to support them.
Don't use this platform if you like to surround yourself with integrity.

Kajabi provides a lot of options to serve my clients. I can choose memberships, courses, coaching to help my clients.
Great structure , helpful Kajabi pro and direct support from the top down, visually a great platform - im in the process of updating my first online course and will be back to upload some changes.
Visually outstanding and easy for your clients to navigate .

It's a great platform to create beautiful and efficient landing pages, websites, blog posts, emails, offers like online courses, coachings, downloadables, podcasts and checkout pages. It's so practical that it is one platform for everything.
When I had questions or doubts, I checked the FAQ, which is very helpful. Additionally, I contacted the Customer Support twice, and they were helpful, efficient and could solve my problem within 48 hours.
I highly recommend Kajabi.
I recently subscribed to Kajabi, joining shortly before the recent price increase. While I appreciate the platform’s overall functionality, I was disappointed to see such a substantial increase — around 20% — without any noticeable improvement in the features or value available to my current plan.
I understand that Kajabi has introduced new tools and capabilities, but these additions don’t benefit my existing setup. If I had wanted those features, I would have chosen to upgrade my plan. I was satisfied with what was originally included, and it’s frustrating to pay considerably more for the same level of service.
Kajabi remains a solid platform, but this change has made me reconsider whether it’s the right long-term solution for my business. I hope the company reconsiders its approach to pricing for existing users.

I purchased a course from a creator, and at that time they offered to preorder a “coming-soon” course.
Fast forward one year later (September): I received an e-mail from the creator informing students who preordered that course that for now it will not come out and we would receive a full refund.
Since I never received the refund, I contacted the creator and she was really nice, but said that she has no control on it since she has no access to my payment references. In the past two months, I got in touch with the creator a few times: she said that the team in charge is very slow in replying. Apparently all other students received their refund (?), but I didn’t because they say I “deleted my billing details from the website”: not only I didn’t, but I don’t even see the “billing” section! I sent screenshots to the creator of what I see, I gave her the reference of my PayPal I used to pay for the course, she forwarded everything to the Kajabi team, but no refund and no feedback.
You inform me that a course I paid for in advance last year will not be published and refuse to get back to me and the creator for refund?!
Edit 29 Oct 2025: I don't see the point in telling me to write an e-mail to "investigate further", if then you don't reply or mark my review as "wrong domain". Sorry, but it is the right domain: if both the creator and I are not able to get assistance for a glitch in the refund procedure that does not depend on us and we are unable to solve, this means that there is no assistance in case the platform doesn't work as it is supposed to (both for the teacher and for the student).
Edit 7 Nov 2025: Neither a feedback nor a refund received yet. This scam with preorders for courses that will never see the light must be brought to the attention of consumers' association in the EU.
Tracked payments show that the original payment was made to the platform and, when I received refunds in the past, I got them from the platform (not personally from the creator), so not assisting students and creators in this process is simply refusing to take responsibility.
I saw other interesting courses, but since they are offered via Kajabi, I think I’d better pass than feeding more scams.

Kajabi is great for people like me who run online courses, have a following, and who want to run an online community and sell products and courses.
It has all the pieces I need in an integrated package!
Terrible UX for Marketing Forms
This site's absurd UX for marketing forms makes the site nearly unusable as you grow.
You're only able to create up to 50 form fields to be used across your entire site's forms. Why? No clue. They won't explain it or provide any option (even paid) to increase your limit. They say it's "hard coded" into the site. Again: Why??
Their advice will be to "archive" (delete) form fields you aren't using anymore—but good luck figuring out which ones aren't in use since there is absolutely no link on the backend to show you where they're being used.
Form fields themselves are also limited. For example, you can't do a "select all that apply" question or set up conditional questions.
My organization already had this platform when I joined the team but if I'm ever in charge of picking another, I'll steer clear of this FAST just because you cannot continue using the marketing forms as you grow, making basic marketing strategies anywhere from a huge headache to downright impossible.

Kajabi appears to be money hungry and genuinely uncaring of your experience. For a platform that allegedly prides itself on support, they show a complete disregard for their consumers and a disturbing lack of humanity.
Scroll down and you'll see plenty of examples.
When I reached out to them recently in good faith -because there had quite literally been 2 separate deaths in the family and I had been unable to use the platform - they refused to help.
Even though it was never used once and it would have literally cost them nothing to honour the unused months and extend it - which is all I was asking for in good faith given the circumstances - they refused and gave no assistance other than to claim it was outside their policy.
Absolutely disgusting and shameful behaviour and clearly showcasing a disturbing lack of empathy, integrity and humanity.

Great platform, however the customer service is really bad. My frustration level skyrocketed because I simply cannot believe how this great platform can have such a BAD customer service. So I had to have my account parked since July, and in July I noticed that I was charged twice for the parked fee, so I contacted the support and they said that next month I won't be charged, and guess what happened? Yes in August I was charged ( once ) , so the issue was not solved. In September I was also charged two times for the parked account fee and I only noticed now in October when I wanted to actually Upgrade for a Basic Plan.So I contacted the customer service again, and I wasted my time, unpaid, for the second time explaining that basically 2 times I have been charged twice the fee, which I doubt is lawful or agree with. Further more, the conversation went through chat and I had to wait ages, for reply, I had to provide in screenshots and invoices numbers ( however I think they should have that in the system themselves) and finally they process the refund for the extra two months I was basically charged. But it didn't finish there, when I logged in into my account I noticed that now the account show that is on Pause, not Parked so I went again for the third time to contact the customer service, again time lost. Lastly , rightfully I asked them for a better discount than 20% that is already provided for everyone who wants to buy a Basic Plan for a year, due to all inconveniences produces, and all reply I had it was from another member which most likely didn't take the time to go through all the issues and problems to understand why I was rightfully asking for that, judging by the email he send, saying they won't offer that. As a business owner myself, I know that we have the duty to make things right if we cause any inconvenience to our customers. Having money taking out from my account twice, without my agreement, that's fraud. Having to contact the support team 3 times, and wait ages, that takes my time. I cannot describe you how dissappointed I am.

Kajabi and the resources offered have taken my business to levels I never imagined possible and they continue adding features to streamline my processes.
I’m writing this as a follow-up to Abi Farrow’s review below, on behalf of the Enhance Me Training Academy team.
After Abi’s detailed review and Kajabi’s public reply inviting her to email Emman (at) Kajabi (dot) com, we reached out immediately — yet we’ve had no response at all since.
This complete lack of communication only reinforces our original experience:
Our account was suddenly terminated without warning or explanation.
We lost access to hundreds of student enrollments and months of work setting up our entire course ecosystem.
We’ve been left to rebuild everything from scratch on a new platform, with zero support or transparency from Kajabi.
For a company that claims to “empower creators,” this level of disregard for long-standing, legitimate businesses is incredibly disappointing.
We had truly hoped Kajabi would make this right or at least offer an explanation, but it’s now been weeks with no acknowledgment whatsoever.
I’m posting this not out of frustration alone, but to warn other business owners of what can happen when you entrust your livelihood to a platform that can remove it overnight — with no accountability and no opportunity to resolve the issue.

Kajabi was the best decision I ever made for my business. An all in one platform that keeps expanding and improving itself to always be one step ahead!
poor company, poor customer service. Use some other company

We spent countless hours building our Kajabi platform — transferring all of our online courses from LearnDash (where we’d been happily hosted for over six years) because we wanted a more sales-adapted system with integrated funnels.
After all that work, our account was suddenly terminated without warning or explanation.
No communication.
No way to speak to a human.
No opportunity to resolve or even understand what happened.
To say this was soul-destroying would be an understatement. We had hundreds of students enrolled and hundreds of hours of work invested — all gone, without a single explanation from Kajabi.
We are still completely perplexed as to why our account was shut down, and can only imagine how devastating this would have been had it happened further down the line once we were fully transitioned.
I would not recommend Kajabi to any serious business owner. The lack of accountability, transparency, and support is unacceptable — especially for a platform that markets itself as being built for entrepreneurs.

Kajabi is overpriced and underfunctioning. The customer support is also subpar. I literally spent weeks of back and forth with them before a customer service agent finally told me a 2-second fix for an issue that all the other agents should have seen from the beginning. Then, when I canceled my subscription, they are claiming I didn't and are refusing a refund. Don't waste your money when there are better options available.
