In the past, I have received great customer service from the team at the Catteshall Lane pharmacy in Godalming.

To provide background to my recent visit, I brought my 3 year old to the pharmacy due to an illness she was recovering from. This was our second visit as she had obtained an allergic reaction to the first medicine. Up to this point, the customer service had been to excellent standard (as a note the team would not have been aware of the allergy as she had never received the medicine).

However, my 3 year old child unfortunately spilt water on the floor not once, but twice while I was distracted talking to the pharmacist about her healthcare.

I apologised and offered to clean it myself as ultimately I am responsible for my child. The customer service or dispenser said "Its fine, it happens" and mopped the floor; great customer service still.

What happened next renders my visit highly embarrassing and made me feel awful. As it is an open area the young girls behind the counter had an audible discussion to comment on my parenting skills.

This highly unprofessional reaction made my experience of trying to care for my daughter following a stressful experience more like playground bullying than the vital service it should be offering.

Pharmacies should be hubs of the community. Customers that attend are often not visiting by choice, but in order to care for someone with a health condition or illness. Customers within pharmacies are some of the most vulnerable in society. Their details and lifestyles need to be attended to with discretion. It is not appropriate for staff to be openly and audibly discussing their opinions of the customers separate to the needs of their health. It is hurtful, embarrassing to the individual and unprofessional.

Awful customer service.
The Crawley branch has been my local pharmacy for years. I had a new prescription sent through from my Dr Saturday morning and went to collect the following Tuesday. I was told the medication had not yet been ordered and wouldn’t be available until the next day. I explained that I only had one tablet left but of the incorrect dosage. I was told to come back at 9am but I said I can’t as working - so I was given the prescription and told I would have to try other pharmacy’s to see if they have the medication if I couldn’t wait until tomorrow. I managed to get to the pharmacy just before closing the next day but told they had already closed down the computers so couldn’t look for the prescription (the doors were open and I was in the store at this time). The staff were rude and did not show understanding of the situation, which was created due to their mismanagement of not ordering the medication needed. This experience has made me change pharmacy.

Great experience overall very friendly staff and they’re so reliable especially that one staff member the regular female pharmacist the manager great person!

Very happy all round with this Pharmacy. The team are extremely helpful, and friendly. I receive my repeat medication here and no issues at all. Staff are always ready to give advice or undertake additional services.
No negative comments or room for improvement in my view.

I came into kamsons this week and a lovely lady named Labiba helped me very much. What a lovely team you have!

Everyone is nice, clear in speaking, kind understanding patient, tolerable especially to people like me who's moods behaviour as well as emotions can be all over the place, erratic would the word to describe me sometimes

Visited today ' saturday, to make a purchase- the woman who served me was very helpful but obviously under pressure as she was by herself and politely said she'd just ask for another staff to come out to serve the customers behind me, which i really didn't mind , my questions were a little time consuming, however, by the time I'd left I'd noticed that she was still alone serving- it's a shame good staff are put under such pressure! Especially, as I saw today, staff at the back of the shop chatting!

After having the doctor send two prescriptions and waiting 4 days we got neither medicines. One was for nutritional milkshakes which are essential as they decided because he had started smoothies and previously hadn’t liked the milkshakes to take it upon themselves to not order the prescription and not tell us that despite me phoning and going in several times in the week and calling to ask them to order it. The other medication they said on the Friday as well they could t order it in. This left us without important nutrition which he had run out of and no one could help. His other medication leaves him now in pain all weekend. Thank you for making our lives worse.

Needed a service from my doctors who sent me to the pharmacy within 20 minutes I had medication and was all sorted. Couldn’t have done anything better amazing staff so friendly! Thank you again

Staff are so helpful, kind and efficient at Kidlington Broadway. Would happily recommend to anyone requiring a pharmacist.

I usually find Kamsons Pharmacy in Meads Street, Eastbourne very efficient. Today was no different except I let them know my flat number and said it incorrectly to which the lady behind the counter made the remark, 'We have Flat .... as your address, do you not know your address?' Thank you for your sarcastic remark on a day when yes, the menopause is playing it's tricks on my brain, which is like fog. I felt this small, as if I didn't feel rubbish enough already!!! No need for sarcastic remarks, and a friendly greeting and smile wouldn't go amiss in this pharmacy as we are usually greeted with stern faces and no hello at all....just saying, not being sarcastic at all or maybe it's the way I'm feeling today?

Staff are always really friendly and the pharmacist went out of their way to get my prescription when it was out of stock in most other places in the area

Staff in this pharmacy are very efficient, but also friendly and understanding. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful. Opening hours are convenient and turnaround time is very good.

I have been using this chemist sinceci lived in peacehaven which is 12 years all the staff are efficent friendly and very helpfull.

I needed a rabies vaccination for travel, not available on the NHS. Easy to arrange an order via an online form and a phone confirmation to have it administered. Helpful advice and certificate provided to add to my NHS records.

I have been in a few times for advice and staff have always been very helpful and supportive abd happy to listen in a positive manner.
I would recommend this pharmacy
