Only thing is the analyser wasn't returned for almost a week.

Needed to re- calibrate my analyser, called Kane..they booked it in printed a postage label, sent it off two days later it was back, fast turnaround and even sent a new printer roll! Great service, thanks Kane!!👍
Good service but wrong date.
Kane do a great turn around on rectification, the only disappointing thing is I had to phone them up as the calibration date was not set.
Took 5 days to get my analyser back instead of the 24 hour turn around as paid for.
The analyser was fully charged when it was posted, on return, the analyser was completely dead and couldn’t use it for a further 24 hours.
The analyser displays calibration still required, which in my opinion, Kane have done nothing but issue a bit of paper (Certificate), otherwise.

I have been with Kane since 7/5/2014, I live in Souuthport about an hour and 15 mins drive to the Manchester branch, I have always dropped off my analyser by hand at the branch for service and calibration, in the early days I wud wait for a telephone call to collect the same day usually about 1 to 2 hours later, job done. Since covid, wait and collect was not possible and the analyser was sent by post the next day, last year I dropped off the analyser, as I was still driving home from Manchester, I received a text telling me the analyser was completed and would be sent by post for delivery the next day, so overall I was never without the analyser for more than a couple of days. This year I decided to try the postal service, I was still on the understading it would still be returned the following day, I booked in the analyser for 25/03/2026 I was sent a Tracked 24 label and registered it with Royal Mail, they picked up the parcel 12.28pm Wednesday, Kane received it 27/03/2026 after 10am so it was not acknoleged as received untill Saturday 28/03/2026. I received the analyser back Tuesday 31/03/2026. The time without the analyser approximately 1 week. As the majority of my work is mainley Landlord Safety Inspections and the most of the proprties have condensing boilers, that was a lot of work I lost out on. I will never use the postal service you offer again and I feel you should post information of the possibility of the time involved using the postal service, I had misread the "dropped off before 10am returned by 9am next day" instruction. The ideal situation for me would be to wait and collect it saving you post and packing but I understand because of work loads this probably is not possible.
I have learnt a lesson this year and I know better.

I needed to return my analyser for overdue service and calibration to Kane. This was very quickly processed and works completed. I had new parts fitted included in service quote. Was kept updated and analyser returned without delay, received goods and very happy with job done and service provided. Many thanks RYPLUMB
