Review summary

Based on reviews, created with AI

Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the products, frequently describing them as cheap, poor quality, and not worth the high price. People often felt the items were not age-appropriate, even when paying extra for age-specific selections, and some products arrived broken or damaged. Consumers consistently felt that the value for money was extremely poor, suggesting they could have assembled similar or better kits themselves for a fraction of the cost. However, some customers did report that their orders arrived in a relatively timely manner and found the drawstring bag itself useful. A few other people also felt that the activities were great and kept their children occupied.

Used to be good - not anymore

So I used these for my little one during the lockdown months to keep him entertained, he was a toddler and we got good age relevant toys board books, snacks usually some colouring and stickers but often proper hands on toys. Now I've just ordered one because he's 7 and going on a long flight and two of the toys are for babies, like ones a plastic tool set??? The others a farm felt set? What seven year old boy wants a farm felt set? No snacks guess they've stopped adding them, no reading books guess they've stopped adding them too, a tiny paint set we cannot take on a plane, two colouring books that are not age appropriate they're 'my first' and a sticker book - no care anymore to get age appropriate items and this isn't going to offer any kid screen free entertainment because whose kid is colouring a full 9 hours? Honestly, so disappointed, not worth the money, they've lost all care.

Scam

This is the second time they have missed the delivery window. This time is took 10 days to deliver. Customer service won’t respond. Useless.

AVOID!!

AVOID!!!

Terrible customer service.

Ordered a plane pal bed using next day delivery and they didn’t send the bed for several days meaning it didn’t arrive in time for our holiday. I emailed immediately asking for it to be cancelled and they wouldn’t and now won’t accept a return. The bed is extremely noisy and terrified my toddler. Legally they’re supposed to allow 14 days to return and as you’re unable to see the item prior to purchase but they ignore their legal requirements.

Purchased two of these at different age…

Purchased two of these at different age brackets for me two boys 4 and 6.

Totally rubbish. 2 x thin colouring books in each one plus one crappy plastic toy similar to what you get stuck to a magazine. No difference in ages.

Absolute rubbish. Do not buy.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I would have rated 0 stars if possible.

I contacted Keep ‘Em Quiet to confirm a delivery window. I then placed an order based on that confirmation and paid a further upgrade fee for express delivery. Express delivery it was not and the item had not even shipped on the promised latest delivery date. I was told to refuse the delivery and the item would be returned and I would be refunded. The courier left the package so I had no option to do this. Contacted Keep ‘Em Quiet to say where do I return this item. Only to be told to open the box and send a picture. Which I did. I was then refused a refund despite being within the 14 day period that is statutory in the UK. They further refused to provide a return address.

I was duped into placing the order, duped into accepting the order and finally duped into opening the package. An all round appalling experience.

Now I am having to go via the bank to claim a refund and return the package to the address on the shipping label.

Avoid at all costs.

Don't waste your money

Great marketing the rest is poor. Toys not appropriate and fell apart after 2 minutes I could of bought at pound land with a better result. Says the royal family used probably after free marketing you can make a better pack following insta and YouTube videos. Don't waste your money and extra payingto age appropriate toys like I did

Avoid, keep your money

If I had known exactly what I was receiving, I would never have ordered it. The number of products received for the price paid was really poor, not good value at all. Not worth the high price point, I paid the extra £2 for age specific products, complete waste of money.
I tried to return the products without success. Escalated it through PayPal and advised that I had a right to cancel the order as purchased online. Business then did advise that they would give me a refund, but this still hasn't been processed, no address given to return goods. Customer service is awful, avoid business.

Not great

I think that the selection is fine and there are items that will be good for travelling however I would not spend this again… it would have been much cheaper to source my own items but given I’m a busy mum this serves a purpose so I will keep… just wish it had felt more like value for money than it does it really is overpriced cheap tat . Love the concept but execution needs some work in my opinion. I’d gladly pay more for this if I knew I was going to get some real quality well curated items for my daughter. also have you noticed the misleading reviews on their site! Bit of a scam job imo

Awful

Awful. I have a 19 month old and picked the 1.5-2 year old range. Even paid extra for that age range.

I got an extremely cheap looking rattle (seriously, one bead inside and the handle spins around like it’s going to fall off), some sort of weird, tiny stuffed animal that looks like a dog toy for a Chihuahua, a packet of Dino dough shapers… Six small cookie cutters basically, a tiny slide-the-pieces-around-to-make-a- puzzle toy that I can’t even get the ring out to allow for the pieces to slide, a coloring book, two small board books and a sticker activity pack with half of the pages being activities for a kindergartners, not 19 month old. They included a heart shaped popper thing she might actually use for like 5 minutes. I paid $47 for this crap. Hardly any of it is appropriate for her to play with on an airplane so now I’m back to square one figuring out activities for our travel.

I couldn’t NOT recommend this company more.

Borderline Scam

The problems with them are well documented in other reviews so I won’t go into too much detail.

Suffice to say it sounds like this was once a legitimate company but at some point that’s changed (maybe they were bought?) and now you receive cheap pound shop rubbish.

They denied my legal right to a return within the 14 day cooling off period under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013. First said they didn’t allow refunds (which is illegal), then tried saying they’d only give 10% (which is illegal). I had to dispute the charge with AMEX who returned the full amount.

I’ve reported to Trading Standards and I suggest others do the same.

Avoid!!

I never leave reviews but feel like I need to here as so disappointed, nothing like what is advertised. My 3 year old received a cross stitch with a sharp needle, false nails, a clock and a few other totally inappropriate things/ cheap rubbish. Kept my daughter entertained for no more than 10 minutes. The £10 bag from the works however kept her entertained all holiday.

Poor customer service

Seems like a good idea, but let down by terrible customer service. My order hasn’t arrived, the customer service team initially responded quickly to apologise and explain that they were missing some items (and so were holding up the order) but have then ignored subsequent emails so I’ve still paid for products I haven’t received and no longer need as they won’t arrive before our holiday.

Save your money

Save your money. Bought this pack after seeing it all over Instagram. Paid extra because of his age 15 month old. It was bought for when we go on a plane for 5 hours so wanted something new and to keep him entertained.
Paid £35 for this and when I opened it open you can do it your self for less than £10. Toys provided are not suitable for a plane or any kind of travelling.
This company is a joke. They offered me a 10% refund yes you heard right, but don’t worry I will make sure I get my money back.

Save your hard money please

Save your hard money please. I understand you save on time in curating your own travel pack however the contents are extremely cheap items which at most you find for 20p each. No child will enjoy or benefit from these. They are also not suitable for age eg join the dots activity book for a 2 year old! I brought two large packs for £60 and it seems they have provided a ‘small’ with minimal items compared to what they show in their online pictures. I should have read these trust pilot reviews before I placed an order. Disappointed as I’ve previously purchased from them 3 years ago and my daughter did enjoy the contents. They seem to have now focussed more on profit, and are not looking for repeat customers. Good luck. Amazon prime now to ensure my girls are not disappointed on their holidays which we leave for tomorrow. Sent them an email but based on reviews they will do their utmost best to make sure we the customer are out of pocket.

Waste of money - do it yourself

I have an active 17-month-old that I really need to distract on train journeys (especially on busy trains) and like most parents I'm time-poor so thought this was a great way to arrange some new toys/activities rather than try to squeeze in a shopping trip. Don't bother under any circumstances. I purchased the 'boys' (which I made gender neutral, as bleurgh) 1-3 yrs small activity pack and paid extra to specify his age. What a waste of £30 (including postage)... a small cheap rubber dino on wheels, a random soft squishy cloud, a baby's book that I wouldn't have shown him a year ago it was so basic (think apple... book... car), a pack of wax crayons and then bizarrely two activity books that were MILES too old for him?! Needing the understanding, pen control, and the fine motor skills of a much older child... paper pages with mazes to fill out? Join the dots?? Puzzles and colouring pages etc that he would never grasp. I couldn't believe the waste of my time and money. You could do so much better - proper (age appropriate) fidget toys, big foamy stickers, those reusable water colouring books... I wish I'd done it myself. Avoid.

Plane Pal issue

I ordered the manual pump plane pal, they sent me one with the electric pump. I emailed them and explained they’d sent the wrong one. Their response was to offer me a 5% off code - when their website currently has a 10% code on it!

I didn’t want the electric one, I specifically ordered the manual one. I questioned this in the email and I was brushed off. It would appear that it is tough luck and I am now stuck with the electric one, which I didn’t want.

Scam!

Avoid….cheap tat.

Purchased two of their plan entertainment packs for my boys. One of them is only 1 years so paid extra for age specific entertainment bag.

Items arrived and to be honest for the £26 I paid for each I could have done a better and cheaper job myself. Items arrived damaged from packaging, for example and A3 colouring book folded in half to fit in the bag.

The entertainment bag for the 1 year old, which I had paid extra for it to be age specific, contained multiple items for ages 3 plus.

Returned almost immediately and have now been in a running battle with their ‘customer service’ department regarding a refund. The items where received back at their depot on 18th July and still no confirmation of processing of the refund or my refund being received.

Pretty terrible

Pretty terrible! The products I received in my two year olds pack were just cheap crap, not worth the £20+ I spent. My two year old got a couple of cheap sticker books which I could have picked up from the pound shop, a colouring book, a coin purse?!?!!?! and a small doll. Definitely not worth the money and definitely not age appropriate, we also never got any snacks in the pack as advertised so they are obviously lying about what they provide to make people buy their products.

The whole thing really annoyed me to be honest, I was really disappointed and didn't even take the pack away with us as it was just tat.
