I placed an order in October 2024. I’ve yet to receive it. Order has a status of not shipped. Sent several emails and no response. Most recent email was yesterday at which time I requested a refund. Still no answer

I put in a order from nov 2. 3 items they were all pre-order and now its December the end of the month and going into january which will be 2 month and no items. This is very sad to see this as I thought this company was well supported instead. I just want my items this is really sad

I would give no stars, but I have to give one to post this review. I never received item. My email inquiries were the same response: they're backed up with e-mails and will respond in 2-3 days, with the same email response. I called the company, and the number always rings busy. They give a bad name to black-owed businesses. I reported them to the BBB, next to Google. I suggest those who left negative reviews do the same.

I have given a 3 star because I’ve ordered & received high quality items before. Even told many friends about this shop. I know they’ve had a hard time but my most recent order is on their sister site so I’m wondering why I haven’t received my order? Based on these reviews I’m hoping to get a quicker response here & receive that coat! This was my last on my winter buys list & considering I don’t have a black puffer of course I ordered it from this shop which gained my trust on my other items. Please send it before it’s warm lol! I ordered 2 months ago and received nothing. Took my money and ran. Does not respond to emails. Total scam website. Do not shop there.

I ordered two items on 11-2 and had to email them twice for an update in which I received excuses as to why my order wasn’t shipped. As of 12-17, no items were shipped and they refunded my order. This is sad! I’ve never experienced this before. Never Again!

Stay away !!! my merchandise did arrive finally but in no way did the sweater resemble the photo and it was the wrong colour. I have tried many timea to get a response as to how I might return it and had no answer, Lesson learned. I would give zero stars not one

SCAM website! Beware!! I ordered an item two months ago and received NO feedback. When I wrote them to ask where my merchandise is they responded a week later to tell me sorry, your order was sent back to the factory because it did not meet quality assurance. They said they recalled this item and will be refunding my money. But if I had not reached out to them they would have NEVER gotten back to me. This company cannot be trusted and believe the reviews!! SCAM!!!

I suspect they are getting some thing from like temu or something. Because I’m seeing those clothes on those sites. That would explain the lead time issues. After 9 weeks I was told I wouldn’t be getting my things and I got a refund. So I’m lucky there I guess.

I would not order from Kelly Obi … I placed 6 orders… $625 … it took months to a month and half for items to be received… got excuse that warehouse fire caused delays… the biggest issue is the items from shipment 5 were one size fits 2-10…. 2 sweaters… the white wrap sweater knit is cheap quality also would fit a child… it was $60… the citron cropped balloon sleeve… it’s cropped so short that it rides up… I can barely fit it and I wear an 8/36A …I wrote(email) immediately upon receipt of this order asking to return the entire order… they sent an email stating for me to WAIT UNTIL I HAVE THE 6th and final order… although the return policy clearly states 14 days… I have a dress I bought on Amazon that was $32 on sale for $16… the same dress is sold currently by KO for $79.99… although the quality is that of a $16 dress… I like only the cutout wedge mules I purchased and they too are available on Amazon for $20 less than KO… problem for me was Amazon didn’t have my size… I did research and found MANY THINGS FROM KO ON AMAZON…. the website states the website is closed and to use their sister site… I would not… I ordered from urban revivo and their quality is much better… sweaters are beautiful, thick and size is true… Kelly obi is cheap Asian quality with expensive pricing… there are no brand labels sewn into garment, no size or fabric content/care labels …. I buy way to much and have an online boutique so I know quality, style and such… KELLY OBI is not it… some items have a nice style that’s what interested me was the different style of items but as with many of these online stores that pop up on my social media… the style is nice but fabric, sizing and workmanship is bad… not to mention customer service is not so good… I paid $80 for a trench style cardigan sweater and they never responded… One other thing … if you’re a tall, 5’9” or above the pants will be too short… I purchased a jogging suit that was labeled as 43” in length for outsell… when I received it the measurements are 39” … NOW I UNDERSTAND THEIR POOR RATINGS… no more shopping these preorder Chinese items for me .. the headquarters is in NY but the items take forever bc they are preorder(made to order) taking 1-1.5 weeks to receive.

Exactly what everyone is saying!!!!! No merchandise arrived, excuses with website/email being "down". No money returned!!! CC'd the BBB in last email to them demanding my $$$$$$$ back! STEER CLEAR! Total rip off! Jerks and sleazed!

I’m so so disappointed. I wanted to love this company. The fashion is so unique, I love their pieces. But the shipping is so slow the customer service is non existent. I ordered two casual sets, the tops were too big so I needed to size down. I sent them back for an exchange the same day I received them. That was 11/21/2024. Ask me where my exchange is? I knew they were slow from the initial order so I just recently inquired about the status of my order. Just want to know what’s up? For 3 days I’ve been getting what are clearly automated emails telling me how busy they are and someone named Russell would be getting back to me. Well, twin where have you been because I ain’t heard from Russell yet. I tried to call, the line was busy. Fam, I heard a busy signal in 2024. So now I’m over it. Run me my coins. Ain’t nothing fast about this fashion. I was really hoping Kelly Obi would be my new go to for unique and trendy pieces. Nope. Sad face.

Likely an out-and-out scam. Placed order as 2-3 week ship time pre-order. When unshipped after over 3 weeks I emailed and was told I could either get a refund or it was scheduled to ship in 7-10 days if I wanted an additional 10% off to wait a bit more. I opted to wait and got a refund of 10% but then lo and behold, 3 weeks later it still hadn’t shipped and I asked again and was sent a refund with no apology or comment. Thankful I actually got a refund. Don’t give this company your money to hold for months. They do not care at all.

I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered from this company. This has to be the most unprofessional shopping on-line experience. I will never order from this company again. I’m still in need a s refund from a duplicate order, no one ever responded. To add insult to injury, I still have not received the order from October of 2024! At this point I just want my money back!!! Do not order from them!

Pre-ordered 11/14, with a 2-3wk turn around. As of today there is no movement on the order and they will not respond to 2 of my status requests. Today I sent a request to cancel the order, didn't want to but they're not responding

I placed an order on October 27, 2024. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my grandma. At the time it was on pre-order with an estimated shipping date of 2-3 weeks. Over a month later, I still had no updates. I emailed them on Nov. 29 requesting an update. They finally responded one week later saying that I could either request a refund, or wait another two weeks until my item ships (after Christmas - two months after I ordered!!!)

At this point, I don’t think the item is coming.

Very disappointing!!!

I purchased a coat and the label read Shein. I paid over a hundred dollars!!!!!!!!Talk about upset!!!! This is unacceptable I will no longer support the foolery!!!!!! It makes sense why the orders take so long to arrive.

This is the same company that did business under the name Souk + Sepia, they had terrible reviews as well. It appears that they closed that site and rebranded as Kelly Obi NY with the same shipping and quality issues.

Omg! Why didn’t I read the reviews before ordering??? I definitely would have saved myself time, money, and aggravation. Not only do the orders take FOREVER (I’m still waiting…ordered early November), but the customer service is the WORST EVER! Kelly Obi’s customer service is NON-EXISTENT. All of my inquiries regarding my orders (there are two) have gone unanswered. I will definitely go as far as needed about getting a refund…. I don’t even want the stuff anymore. Kelly, you lost a good one…I have a shopping addiction that YOU will not benifit from.

If I could give a zero I would this is what happens when you try to support your black community with trash like this company. I ordered something back in November and still haven’t received it thank God I only spent 40 bucks but it’s the principle of it, and as soon as I find out, who the company is, I’m going to report them as fraud. They don’t even respond back to the numerous emails that I have sent.
