This company is not trustworthy

This company is not trustworthy. My daughter used to the company when she locked her keys in her vehicle. She was told it would be $80-$120 for the service. It ended up being $266. There was nothing difficult about this job, it took seconds to open, and so this price difference was not due to a complicated situation. They are intentionally misleading on pricing. I called the company three different times and asked to speak to the manager. All three times I was given a really polite apology and told it would be called back immediately. I did not receive a call back any of the three times. Worse I could tell that they were not taking down my phone number/contact information - so they had no intention to call me back. This means even the lowest level employees are in on the scam that they will not provide any service to any customer with a concern or complaint. The advertisement says they're local, however they are from another state. They're only dispatch service. They do not tell you which local company has been subcontracted to unlock your vehicle. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and a dispute with our credit card company. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Instead, find a local locksmith.

Mate you owe me $350

Mate you owe me $350. You told my wife the keys where programmed and car was running. Get home and the car was cranking over but not starting. Called a mechanic to check out the problem. Was the immobiliser, the key wasn't program properly. The key rescue guy came back and still couldn't get car started. Said that the modulator wasn't linking together. Should of refunded my money then when you new you failed me. I let the car sit for 2 years paying rego and finally another locksmith came out and took 10 minutes to program another key. ($250)
He told me that key rescue used an old key that wouldn't program to my car.
No thanks to key rescue and $600 later. Key rescue you owe me $350.

They came to my house and had to change a door knob on an interior door because we were locked out. Charged us $651. That includes a few of $280 for a new door knob. They are thief’s!!! Tried to call the owner. No return call.

Don’t go near this company

Don’t go near this company! They are a total scam. Quoted one price and then the ‘technician’ quoted double. Technician said he’d been in the US for 2 months and wasn’t trained properly or even a legal worker. Said he would have to replace the whole front door lock. After we asked him to leave, he started yelling at us. Then the so called owner of the company called us to say that the technician told him - the owner - that he had done the work. Next company fixed the problem in 2 minutes. Scary experience

Not professional, not trained, the two men who came acted like they didn’t have a clue about locks.
This was the first time I’ve ever felt uncomfortable with representatives of a company in my house.

They were able to respon on the same day

1. Chris was able to respond on the same day I called.
It regarded a brand of lock that only 2 local locksmiths where certified to handle.
2. He was on time and made the 2 door lock keys that were needed.
3. Coworker from Key Rescue were able to make working keys on the 1st try and have become my new local locksmiths.

Key Rescue is guardian Angel. Professional, honest & through. There you are in a panic locked out (with four little kids, in my case!), and KeyRescue came to rescue. We were back in the game in minutes! Thank you.

Amid the COVID-19

Amid the COVID-19, I called for an auto lockout. Initial response was very quick. After exchanging some information through texts, we spoke on the phone. That conversation was great. Very personable. Once they arrived the experience just continued to be pleasurable. A resolution to my issue was almost immediate. Overall an awesome experience!
