Every year Adam delivers a fantastic food package for our team at an event. 3 days on site feeding us Breakfast, Lunch & Evening meal as well as snacks and drinks all throughout the days. Communication is always spot on and he ne et fails to deliver. He really makes the event what it is for us, highly recommend his services

The team at Keythrope were great, they created a delicious roast dinner menu that went down really well and they were friendly and helpful with the planning and execution of the event.

Keythorpe provided terrible communication in the months before my wedding (August 2023), it was impossible to reach them by telephone and they rarely responded to whatsapp or email.

From around 6 weeks to 2 weeks before the wedding I had no communication with them at all regardless of my numerous attempts via phone, whatsapp and email.
Overall, I never once got to speak to Adam on the phone after 30-40 attempts.
This is not acceptable, I have to say it was so stressful to not have everything sorted and confirmed a month in advance like it said in the conditions, when I had ensured to send all the final numbers and details to them in good time.
The first time we spoke was in person on the day of the wedding and this is not OK.

Furthermore, I was not happy at all about no change in price on 11 guests not attending which was stated over a month prior to the event, Adam gave a loose excuse about these 11 meals being used for staff and spare meals for people changing their minds.

I was under the impression a site visit had taken place after we had paid the deposit to secure the booking as they insisted a sire visit would only take place after a deposit had been paid.
The fact that a site visit hadn't taken place was absolutely shocking to hear, aside from this being the most basic industry standard it's plain common sense, and we expressed this on the day itself, this is the main reason for all the issues we encountered on the day.
These issues would have been immediately obvious if you had been to the venue.
A site visit should have taken place as a minimum, communication with site owner was inadequate.

This led to no understanding of access to the marquee and little understanding of site itself.
(The site owner specifically requests all vehicles to reverse to the marquee for this specific reason) however you drove the extremely heavy van straight down the gravel hill in wet conditions and got it stuck, this was extremely stressful to witness and led to even more stress in the morning of the wedding with me wondering if you would be able to serve food at all.
Luckily the venue owner was able to organise emergency recovery for your van.

Due to the access issues, food had to be served from the carpark, in the rain outside.
& over an hour late due to issues in the morning
To ensure the food didn't get rained on, guests were asked (by us of course) to assist the servers with umbrellas and ended up serving a lot of the meals themselves.

Serving staff had very little idea of the table plan which led to most walking around with the food going cold reading table signs with hungry guests waiting.
This lead to me standing telling servers which tables to go to as I seemed to be the only one who knew which tables were where.
This ruined my wedding meal with my new wife and severely impacted the experience of many guests while also being extremely embarrassing for me and my bride that our friends and family had to serve food at our wedding.

Additionally, food was cold for many guests and our gluten free guest complained that her dietary requirements were not adhered to.

Overall, I was extremely unsatisfied with the communication and service on the day, It was such an awful experience for me personally and I am really unhappy that I had to experience that on my special day.

I must note that Adam responded to my complaint and suggested I was exaggerating the attempts to contact them (With 15 times being acceptable?) however it was not just me, but my partner & my wedding planner trying to contact them.

Adam will try to blame all this on me and my wedding planner, including suggesting it was my fault he got his van stuck after admitted the owner had told him on the phone not to drive forwards down the hill.
Suggesting his van took damage during recovery and he is out of pocket as such!
Also after I asked for a fair compensation for our issues (10%) of course this was never honoured, Adam suggested we will be presented an outstanding invoice for extra time due to the delays!

Turned up on time, served great quality food and everything served was piping hot all day - so many compliments on the food. Absolutely fantastic, highly recommend

Catered our wedding on 26 November. Really helpful, flexible and served lovely food with absolutely minimal fuss. A really good range of options and catered for all our dietary requirements. Would recommend!

We booked Adam and the Keythorpe Catering team to provide a hog roast buffet, ice creams and evening pizzas for our wedding in August this year and they delivered a great spread for us. All very friendly and helpful on the day and the food went down a storm with our guests, many of whom actively sought us out to tell us how much they'd enjoyed it. It was delicious and plenty for everyone. We would absolutely recommend Keythorpe to anyone looking for large scale event catering and would definitely book again. Word of advice - understandably they do get busy and fully booked (especially in the summer). Tell Adam exactly what you want as early as you can when you book and don't panic if you don't hear from them until a couple of days before your event. In our experience, they will deliver exactly what you've asked for and with style.

Keythorpe catering saved us when our first caterers let us down. They fit us in last minute and replicated our original menu. Our guests couldn’t rave more about the food. We would highly recommended Keythorpe for your wedding or event!

Sadly our experience with this company was a different one to last year, they let us down right at the last minute and were not at all great with their communication, I had to chase up every single message and email, they then quoted (the day before the party) a ridiculous amount of money, and then on the morning of our son’s eighth birthday they cancelled on us. Really disappointed as totally different to what we experienced last year when we had a family get together. Would not recommend, based on this years experience.

Did a great job catering for our wedding and the waiting staff were very helpful and polite

Great service, great food! Keythorpe helped us find options within our budget and everyone loved the food. Keythorpe was very easy to work with and I recommend them for any event!

The staff were great, the food was fine and what we expect for the budget. A couple complaints from those with special dietary food that the tart was burnt.

The isssue was that the entire communication caused uneccesary stress for us on our wedding day and before, this is not what you want when you get married and have lots to think about!

In the lead up, communication was at times slow but can appreciate

A GPS system fitted on their truck went haywire as we live next to an airfield. Clearly not our problem and we obviosuly didnt ride the trailer zig zagging accross the map, getting messages about this the day before the wedding is not ideal. We obviously didnt take it for a joyride, communication in this regard was not along the lines of “oh no problem at all”, if anything was accusative.

We must have emailed and messaged 4-5 times in the week up to the wedding that the tent was right next to the service van. The distance was literally touching the tent entrance if they so wished, not sure why we had to communicate this over and over again.
I think we know the distance of our garden, and someone speculating from google maps who hasnt been to venue saying service will therefore be slow etc just caused uneccesary stress.

We bought all of our own wine and near the end of the wedding they put all our wine on the bar and just started opening bottles and opened about 15 fresh bottles of wine before we had to re cork them all.

I ran over and said “what are you doing, stop opening the wines, they are going to be wasted”, there was no way 15 bottles of wine were going to be drank by our guests when many had gone home as was the end of the night. They just scurried away without saying anything. It was bizarre to say the least.

The general manner of the owner just was not very nice to be honest, very pedantic (as above) not once mentioned the wedding (good luck, congratulations, are you having fun etc). Of course they don’t have to be super nice but all other suppliers wer lovely! How difficult is it to be nice instead of grumpy!?

Thank you so much to Keythorpe catering. Booking was so straightforward and I really appreciated being offered extra options such as chips to go with our pulled lamb flatbreads with salad, and a delicious choice of puddings. The food even looked just like the pictures we were sent. Set up was really easy and the food tasted wonderful. The team were so friendly and helpful, and I look forward to having another event so that I can book them again. Eco disposable plates and utensils meant there was no washing up which was a bonus. They made the whole evening and feeding 40 people so easy, and tasty! 😋

We used Keythorpe for our office Christmas lunch 2021. Considering we still adhered to covid guidelines it was nice to find someone who catered to our requirements. Nothing was to much and was all done with a smile. The food was perfect and the trio of cakes was a lovely finishing touch to what was a lovely meal.

We had Adam, Serena and team for a village fete hog roast. Absolutely delicious, served as you'd expect. Professional but with fun banter as well which made it feel more personal rather than corporate.

Very happy with the food and service for our daughters evening wedding reception especially as the date had to be changed twice due to covid. Keythorpe Catering were always happy to accommodate our requests and didn’t let us down

We had a great experience using Keythorpe for our Christmas work event. They were very accommodating to our requirements, in regards to catering to allergies and shift times.

The food was delicious and very generous portions - our employees loved it. Would definitely use them again.

We have had Keythorpe come to our workplace a couple times now and had excellent service and food both times, they even stayed later for our night shift workers, which was very much appreciated and a huge bonus! Lovely food and very friendly staff. We will defiantly be having them back again soon :)
