Scam, cancelled my card immediately and had a follow up call a week later, English man using some jaag posh accent, "hello sir" all that bs, I played along until I said its ok my cards cancelled anyway, hung up on me, scum

Too good to be true- the low prices and claim of free shipping drew me in. The payment was declined and the customer service 'email' was a generic website build placeholder. Avoid this site at all costs and report it to the NCSC.

Scam site
I had my card details stolen through this website on 3rd March 23, then just had a follow up scam phone call pretending to be from my bank’s fraud department, to try and get the OTP from me. I thankfully knew not to give that out to anyone.
Don’t ever give OTPs out to anyone, not even your bank.
Definitely a scam
UPDATE 31/03/23
Had a scam phone call from a private number that was 100% from them, regarding a "failed transaction to a book website noticed on my Santander card". They started listing transactions that hadn't appeared on my online banking. Definitely not real and they hung up as soon as they realised I knew. Be vigilant and don't give out any details over the phone!
Definitely a scam website, had the same issues as others - payments declined so now I have to cancel 2 cards. The trustpilot score they display is fake and can't find the company on Companies House. It looks so convincing, don't be drawn in!
Scam Website for card details
Scam Website for card and details harvesting. Payment details never went through and checked review sites shortly afterwards. Wish I read them sooner. Cancelled my card shortly afterwards.
Fake website harvesting credit cards
Fake website harvesting credit card data. If (like me) you've inputted your card details after being lured in by a great deal, free shipping and an admittedly sophisticated website, cancel/freeze your card immediately and request a new one from your bank.
FAKE!!!
I just had the same experience as everyone else trying to buy some manga books for my son. Have frozen my cards (put two in!) and will order new ones. Argh!
AVOID
Worked until submitting card details where it kept giving an error. Checked for reviews and seen it appears to be a fake website.
I've cancelled my card in case my payment details have been stolen.
AVOID
Avoid, avoid, avoid
Wish I'd had the sense to read these reviews first!
Same issue, payment declined....I await notification from bank fraud team, sigh!
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
As with Previous reviews, tried to purchase my son a book, payment details declined so tried on another card.
Worried they may have my details now so have cancelled both cards just for peace of mind.
The site had what I now realise was a fake trust pilot rating, which I was nieve to think was legit.
Lesson learnt. Always check on trust pilot first if it's a company you've not heard of or used before.
Do not make the same mistake I did!
Fake website
Fake website, do not trust. It failed on the payment , after reading the other reviews i have cancelled my bank card to ensure that no fraudulent activity takes place.

This is definitely a fake company
This is definitely a fake company. They are stating a fake TrustPilot rating on their site which links to a spoof page hosted on the Kiko Books website but made to look like an authentic TrustPilot page. They're stating a London postal address in order to seem legitimate, but this is actually the address of the head office of Hachette UK, and along the same lines they're claiming they are a registered UK company with a company number. Except the company number they're claiming is actually that of a dissolved publisher in Cardiff called Penrose Books (who have not been active for two years). The website itself was only registered in January 2023, in the Netherlands, for one year. They don't accept modern payment methods like PayPal, Google Pay or Apple Pay, and are pretending to be authenticated by legitimate payment platform providers like SagePay, except that there is no SagePay integration present in their website code. This is very clearly a website set up to harvest personal and credit card information, and should be reported to the NCSC.

Attempted to make payment twice and it failed both times, as did my sister. Same issue as the previous review.
Seems like a fake website with the registered address being a different publishing house.
AVOID.
Fake or Scam
I tried to order some books for my daughter but the payment kept failing. Seems like that might be a good thing as can't find the company on Companies House, and it seems the Trust Pilot info is fake.
Concerned now what the angle is and whether they now have my card details.
