Thank you so much

No one ever wants to think about their beloved pet passing, and sometimes these things can come as a total shock. I looked at a few different providers and found that many where very business-like and treated the whole thing like an Amazon return which was horrifying. I was so glad to have come across the Kind website.

Sally and the Kind team from our very first interaction were outstanding going above and beyond to support us during such a difficult time. Everything was extremely well communicated with care and empathy and Sally was so lovely and kind. She came personally, on Sunday and took care of everything.

It is evident that in everything they do down to the smallest of details love and care are core to everything they do. Down to the smallest details of presentations of the keepsakes. Which are beautiful and the cards.

I take great comfort in knowing should the worst happen to any of our other Pets that there are such kind people there to support us at the end.

I can't thank you enough for being there for us.

Kind funerals have been absolutely…

Kind funerals have been absolutely fantastic for us and our pets. We've had 2 animals cremated with them now and both times we have been touched by the care and time sally and staff put into caring for our animals once passed. They are friendly, compassionate and very easy to communicate with! We will always opt for using kind funerals shall we ever need to again and would definitely recommend to anybody needing that kind of service! X

Hard time made easier

Sally was so kind and caring, it was as if it was her own pet, she stroked Pepsi as after asking us if it was OK and she talked to her the whole time. When the time comes for our other pets we will use kind again. We can not Thank Sally enough for her support at such a hard time.

It’s taken me a couple of weeks to write my review as we’re adjusting to the loss of our sweet boy Bertie. Thank you Sally for your kindness and compassion at such a heartbreaking time for my family. From start to finish you were amazing. Thank you & Snoopy for personally bringing our boy home, along with all the little personal touches to help us remember Bert

Kind & Caring

My wife and I couldn't have asked for a more caring way of dealing with our beloved dog Jubi's cremation. Sally and Nigel were excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kind Funerals to family and friends.

Thank you for taking care of our Cashew

Amazing service and care given from start to finish really living up to their name KIND.
Sally and her wonderful team were just what we needed to handle a difficult time. From the easy accessible website to handling our chinchilla Cashew who sadly passed away. We are devastated and heartbroken.
Cashew was the first one who passed away out of our chinchilla clan, we never had felt so lost. She was so sweet and we miss her so much. We were reassured and taken care of ourselves by their support and updates. Nigel was truly amazing collecting Cashew. He was comforting and a top guy!
We received Cashew’s ashes and memory items beautifully wrapped within the next day signed for delivery. KIND are so thoughtful and had given us some extra memorial pieces from Cashew. Cannot fault anything. Thank you so much, Thank you for everything.

Genuinely the kindest of funeral homes

I lost my cat very unexpectedly a few days ago, he seized in front of me and it was extremely traumatic attempting to save him. I was completely distraught and heartbroken, that’s when my family pushed that we need to decided what we do. When you lose a pet there is never enough time to mourn or pull yourself together to make a choice before the body starts to shut down. We made the choice to freeze his body temporarily. The next day I was looking at prices and just crying over them, many places ranged from 390-500 which is money I just didn’t have. I felt like I was dying thinking that my cat would be frozen next to me for months while I try to scrape money to give him a proper send off.

I came across kind and looked through the page. I found that there was an option for collection of the body and the price was only 250. I know in general it’s a lot, but for such an unexpected loss and all of the market. It was more than worth it. After purchasing I received a message from kind, they collected him on the very day I paid. They were very kind and even when sally collected him she apologised for my loss and told me she would take amazing care of him. She let me know he would hopefully be back by Wednesday.

Today is Wednesday and he’s home. I couldn’t afford to purchase an urn or even a box but they packaged him in plastic in a box. Sending me a seed, some of his hair, black string and a candle. The care they put into this box shows that they are there for everyone who had lost a pet. Very obviously I balled my eyes out when he came back. The note and certificate of cremation were sweet things I didn’t know that I needed. Had I have gone with another company I know that my baby would not have had the love and care he deserved right up until cremation.

I cannot stress enough how kind, supportive and considerate sally and kind is. If you’re reading this I know you must love your pet and your loss hurts more than words can describe. Please let your loved pet have proper loving care by people who aren’t just in it for the money.

Sally is phenomenal and I’ll attach the text of thanks I sent after the service I received.

“Hi sally. Gismo arrived today and I just wanted to say a big thank you, this is such an emotional feeling especially because we lost him so unexpectedly. As you know we stored him in the freezer which was really difficult for me to do, and even more mentally stressful. I didn’t have a lot of money to spare and all the sites for pet cremation I looked at were ranging between 500-390 with a wait period for collection. I was in the middle of mourning the loss of my sweet boy and I was stressed I couldn’t give him a proper send off, the idea of him being in the freezer for weeks while I try to scrape the money was seriously impacting my body and mind. I found kind funerals online and cried at the price when I saw it. Thank you so much for being a company that helps people out in mourning because there just isn’t ever enough time to say goodbye or pull it together to do the right things. You came the next day and helped me out and today gismo came back and it was really emotional for me. I haven’t been able to stop crying because I lost my world and thought I had more time with him. Seeing his ashes is hard but I have a part of him with me and now I can let my family carry a part of him with us forever. So thank you so so much. The care package, the written note, the string and the seeds to help me remember him. Thank you so much. I couldn’t afford to buy a box or anything to put him in so thank you for the way you sent him back to me, thank you so much.”

Exceptional, caring and kind service

I wanted a special servive for my beloved emperor of a cat - Sparky - when he passed away.
I had difficulty at my end processing payment and when I phoned Sally, she arranged for pick up and cremation, allowing me to pay over the phone at a later date. It was obvious how this company operates on trust and care as their main values. Nigel picked up Sparky and was very kind when I felt so vulnerable. Sally called me to let me know when Sparky's service would be and that they would read some tributes I'd made and light a candle.
I feel that if you want exceptional service, kindness and the human touch when you are going through such an emotional time, Kind funerals really supports you all the way. Thank you

Exceptional service
When my hamster passed away, not having a garden for a burial made things quite hard. I called Kind and spoke to Sally who is so so lovely and she made the whole process so much easier. I was so comforted to know he was in good hands.
Thank you so much Kind, for making a hard time a little less hard ❤️

Pet Cremation - Kind Funerals.

Hello everyone…

Our family cat Felix died last week after becoming poorly at home; it was all in quite sudden circumstances.

When returning from the vets after having had to have him euthanised, we wanted to make sure we gave him a suitable send off; as Felix had brought much joy, laughter, hair balls, lap cuddles and annoying early morning ‘face taps & neck cuddles’ to all the family
for nearly 18 years… he was a lovely natured cat …

Sally the owner of Kind Funerals was very kind & helpful, and we arranged a personal collection for Felix’s remains. This was done in person by Sally, and she took Felix away.

Felix was returned only a few days later by direct courier, and his ashes, certificate of cremation, plaster paw imprint, and also some lovely ‘ink prints’ were neatly and safely wrapped in a box and bubble-wrap.

Overall the service was excellent, and the products provided were of a good quality and neatly wrapped (thank you Sally).

We would from our own experience recommend this company Kind Funerals to other pet owners; and we would also use them again.

Thank you… x
