Two years ago we ordered over £280 worth of crated logs for our small shop in Thornham, we had ordered off this company previously and had received deliver in the past so felt confident to put this order through, however we never received it, we assumed they had gone bust, however I have since seen stock in other farm shops and also online. We had tried to contact them but to know response. For us that amount of money as a small business caused us difficulty and held up work in other projects, so our trust was broken we didn’t deserve to be treated in this manner!

Order placed on 19 May and payment has been taken, as yet no confirmation or dispatch or when I am likely to receive my order. Emailed twice with no reply and used the online form with no reply. I can't find a customer service desk phone number to call, so my efforts seem wasted in trying to get my order from them.

This is a review about delivery, as many of the negative reviews would seem to be about that. (I haven’t set fire to anything yet) I ordered just a couple of Swedish Torch Logs. My delivery arrived on time & I received no less than seven emails & two texts from FedEx updating me on delivery. Absolutely no complaints from me. The logs look great by the way & I am confident they will be great too.

A fabulous product, great customer service.Unfortunately the courier service they were using was appalling and caused no end of problems ,it would have been 5 * otherwise.I think they have overcome these difficulties, so I hope I can give my next order 5*

Great kiln dried logs for our log burner and smaller oak hard wood pieces for our pizza oven. Easy to order and delivered quickly.

I really want to like these guys. Great 'brand' and the product seems to tick the sustainability box. Sadly, our order went astray and then it was hard to contact them using email and the automated chatbot (which drove me mad with its 'best guess' responses). When I did get through to a real human...to their credit, they chased up my order and it eventually arrived...albeit some while after the original due date...so as an apology they threw in a bag of kindling for free. Which was nice. Oh, and then about a week later another truck arrived with a duplicate order...which we had to turn away. Doh! On the upside, the logs themselves have been great. No plastic waste in the packaging and they burn really well.

I ordered to new subscription pack plus an additional box of logs. The quality is very good but I found the fact that I received just 5 loose firefighters rather odd. Everything else was very well packaged. Customer Service was a bit flaky; I sent two emails and finally had to contact the owner to get a reply. He promised me a delivery charge refund (£6.99), not yet received. All that said, this is a young company with a young entrepreneur at it’s head and so I shall continue to support. Would recommend.

Easy ordering, love the wooden crates, firewood oooks great. Best step will be to light a fire.

Order arrived super quick. So prettily packed in their crates that I didn't want to use them! Highly recommended.

I bought two of the same Item but ones was tiny and other huge. I know they are a natural product so will vary in size but this looked silly especially since they were gifts. Also the fire lighters which were suppose to be included were not. Customer service said they’d post some separately but they never arrived. Items worked well anyhow and delivery was quick.

NO ORDER HAS ARRIVED, NO CONFIRMATION SENT, WE ORDERED THIS ON 20.9.20 AND SPENT NEAR £200 THEN WAS SENT AN EMAIL TO REVIEW OUR WOOD THAT HAS NEVER ARRIVED!! THATS A LOT OF MONEY TO TAKE OFF SOMEONE FOR NO PRODUCT! WAITING FOR EMAIL RESPONSE FROM KINDWOOD, NO NUMBER TO CALL AND SPEAK TO SOMEONE DIRECT.

Ordered well over a week ago and no sign of delivery. No emails to confirm when delivery is due. Had to chase a response

Just received an email saying order will be delivered on 6th October. Apologised for the delay and offered 15% off next order

I ordered oak kindling with a moisture content of 10% or below.

What I got was damp kindling, it has a moisture content of over 20% !!

Avoid.

Bought some hardwood kindling to use in my Ooni Karu. After my first go with some of it I immediately ordered two more sacks, it’s that good. I’d struggled previously with chopping chunks that fit in the Karu’s relatively small burner but these are just perfect and burn good and hot. Prompt delivery too. 100% recommended.

Ordered some oak kindling from Kindwood for my ooni karu. The customer service was speedy, the delivery was fast, the packaging is both delightful and super sustainable, and the important stuff - the wood - is superb. It burns cleanly and super hot so is ideal for the ooni, and every piece fits so it couldnt be better. Already recommended Kindwood to everyone I know who needs fuel! Thanks team!

When things work well no problem. However once you have an issue emailing is a waste of time, the online contact pop up is a waste of time. There's no phone number to speak to someone which makes getting a refund very painful!! I've been waiting over 5 weeks for a refund!!
