Sent me an email to tell me that they had received my device on Friday. Device should be checked and payment made in 24hours. It’s now Wednesday and I’ve not heard a peep from them.

I would never ever recommend using this service, this is genuinely the only company I have ever used to recycle a phone with and had issues! Just pay people when you say you will or send back my device and I will send it to a legitimate company who will actually do things when they say they will!

Wouldn’t even give 1 star if if could. SCAMMERS. Do not use. Steal your phone and makes excuses to not pay you money. I have reported to police and they are aware of the company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Sent them my working iPhone at the end of February and I STILL haven't received my money in April - and they say they pay within 24 hours! I've sent numerous e-mails over a long period of time that have just been ignored, phoned them up and been promised on several occasions that they will pay the money that I am owed that day, but surprise surprise it never arrives. Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous service - what a shambles.

I've read lots of bad reviews and similar experiences about this company online. The good reviews listed below are clearly faked by their own company!!!!!

So we send them a phone who h was classified as broken for £36. When they receive it they decide that it’s a different type of broken and only worth £5? They should mention this when offering prices.

Most disgraceful and disrespectful customer service I've ever encountered.

Firstly, I ship my broken iphone in the original iphone box with an offer of £128, once they receive the phone they claimed it was liquid damaged so revised the offer to £15 and when I asked for it back they charged me £5 to receive it back through the post.

I duly paid the £5 to have my phone returned to me after that embarrassing offer, and to my disgust, the phone is returned in a tiny brown envelope, WITHOUT my original iphone box and the phone completely smashed with half of the screen sticking out.

Their response to this, was they could either refund the £5 delivery charge OR send me back my box (what a compensation for my smashed up phone) - they blamed this on the delivery company rather than taking responsibility for breaking my phone even further as if it was shipped in the original iphone box which i sent it in, it wouldn't of gotten damaged on the way back to me.

I have since filed an official complaint and I am yet to hear anything, but do not use this company - no respect for their customers or their property, absolutely disgusted.

Site is user friendly. Good prices offered and prompt response. Will use again if I can dig out more stuff.

I sent KBB my iPhone 8 and got £286 after 3 days of sending it cannot grumble great service.

A truly great service from Kingbuyback they sent me a prepaid label i sent my phone in the post was paid after the weekend.

A simple and easy process have told all of my friend to do the same.

Pretty poor all around. I wanted to sell them my phone as they offered the most on a comparison website. I have a question so I called them, emailed them and asked the question through the website. They never bothered getting back to me. I really wouldn’t trust them to pay for my phone when they can’t vent be bothered to answer the phone or reply to emails.

Very disappointed!!

So sent my device that arrived Thursday last week, it was sat there all weekend as closed, on Monday I called 12 times - no answer!!! Tuesday 23 times - no answer! They claimed to of called me but I had no missed call in my phone (could of been signal issues) finally spoke to Abi, very professional lady, promised me that I'd receive payment in 24hrs. So the 24hrs came an went.. Nothing!! Next day, I called and called - no answer! I email, ABi finally emails. They are having technical issues (fair enough) ABi promised I'd receive my payment in the next 24hrs, that if I didn't get it the next day, she would personally chase it up! The next day came - nothing! I sent 12 emails but nothing at all. I was furious! This company had my phone for a week an still nothing 😡😡😡 worst still I was being ignored!! So I decided to write my experience on this site! I then received an email from 'David' asking me if I can take down my review and he will pay me instantly! But I can only have my payment 'if' I remove it! Otherwise, I will have to wait longer for my payment!!!!

SERIOUSLY, WHAT THE HELL!!! YOUR DOING THIS TO ME SO I GET THE MONEY YOU OWED ME DAYS AGO!!! Really DAVID!!!!
So I agreed! He was incredibly arrogant, said I needed to do it straight away as he was leaving in 10 minutes!
I got my payment! Now that horrible man could of done that anyway, because that is what a good business does! I will NEVER deal with this company again! It was soooooo unprofessional in every way!
So I'm writing my review, I won't be blackmailed.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

And seriously, answer the bloody phones you ignorant bunch of people!!
