My experience has been full of broken promises, poor workmanship and terrible customer care.
The sales rep assured me everything would be protected, broken tiles replaced and two coats of RENTOTEC® applied. In reality, my solar panels and Velux windows weren’t covered, debris wasn’t controlled, and broken tiles were not replaced — they were bodged with silicone. Cleanup was poor and they demanded final payment immediately.
Within months, the coating began flaking off and the original tile surface showed through. When I complained, I was passed between staff, given excuses and promised a return visit that never happened. Six months later, no contact.
A neighbour cancelled their job after hearing my experience. I’ll also be reporting them to ProPERLA for not following proper application standards.
Strongly recommend avoiding this company.

I just had a very mannerly and polite young man chap to ask if I would like a quote leaflet popped through the door. He asked if I had a moment and stood well back from the door. Not pushy or aggressive, quite the opposite. Very professionally dressed.
Now I've read these reviews, I am wondering how there is such a stark difference in reviews. Some people have great service and some have very poor experiences.

I don't like door to door salespeople

I think it would be fair to say (and I readily agree) that Kingdom Coatings would not consider me to be their best or easiest customer.
We shared a relatively fractious relationship in the several months* between signing the agreement and the work commencing.
I had decided to proceed with the coating of the house walls, after a spur of the moment decision, during a doorstep sales pitch.
After signing that doorstep agreement ( in September 2025) I began to have self imposed second thoughts, and wasn't sure that I really wanted to progress.
However, I left it too long between signing the contract and trying to cancel, for this to be “ contractually” achievable.
*Due to a prolong period of severe adverse weather, and by mutual agreement, it was decided not to re-commence / complete the main colour coating work until the spring. Unfortunately, this prolonged delay gave me even more time to reflect and regret having signed the initial contract.
I had a number of telephone conversations with the company, including with the managing director.
I tried to renegotiate cancellation of work, offering to pay a reasonable amount, for the minor work already carried out, but I met with inflexibility.
I had already paid a considerable amount of money for, what in effect was the house walls being sprayed with a liquid biocide / anti-fungal treatment - and they were unwilling to consider any negotiated partial refund.
I therefore had no real option but to progress with, and pay for, the paint coating.
Over the period, I was given two, or perhaps even three, firm dates as to expect the coating team, they were each cancelled and rescheduled, at short notice.
In turn, during the final weeks, I had messed them about, by imposing a last minute change of colour choice, which they readily accommodated.
A positive aspect of my experience was that the teams that came to do the work (27 April 2026) were superb.
They were; professional, adept, friendly, and did an excellent job.
Also, prior to commencing the long delayed wall coating / painting, I queried whether the effectiveness of the liquid biocide / anti-fungal treatment would still be effective, given the long time, and poor weather since that initial treatment. They immediately sent another operator to re do that process.
So - the final outcome?
Well. Despite my doubts, I concider I've had a really good job done, and am well pleased with the final result (and, at 78 years of age, the 10 year guarantee, may well outlast me!).
The house looks vastly better and has greatly enhanced curb appeal. We have had, and continue to receive, numerous complementary comments from both passers by and neighbours.
My advice: Though obvious in retrospect - Make sure that you really need / want your house walls coating.
Take a self imposed “cooling off” period, prior to signing any contract, rather than rushing into a doorstep agreement. And then, check your decision, again, before the contractural cut off.
Use an AI tool, like ChatGPT, to mock up a photo of your house, in your chosen new colour scheme.

Very friendly and professional team from the initial contact and the assessment through to the completion of the job. The two guys who did all the work in two days were excellent but a slight criticism is that maybe they should have allowed 3 days for completion instead of two. (I have a big roof). Overall very pleased with the final result.

Roof cleaned on first day and coated the following day by Sammy and his team. They replaced tiles and did necessary repairs. Excellent job , great workers.
Walls cleaned and coated by Ethan and his team. Great workers who kept us informed at all stages. Excellent job.
We are delighted at the end result. It looks like a new bungalow.

Absolutely appalling behaviour from one of your door callers, rang my doorbell at 11.15 today,I said no thanks' asked if I have been spoken to before I said'yes'as I closed door he came closer to door and as it was closed he shouted 'no need to be rude',I was not rude and at end of day I never asked him to call,

An excellent job by Carson and his two colleagues. They worked extremely hard over the two days and we are delighted with the end result. The three lads were all extremely helpful and polite and our walls look great.

Had to wait for a few months for the work to be started due to the poor weather but I'm really pleased with the work that was completed. Chris, who was a polite and charming young man worked hard applying the coating to my bungalow and I could not be happier with the outcome.. I would have no problem recommending
this company to others.*****.

We found everyone very polite, professional and friendly. It would appear they brought our finishing date forward to accommodate my planned hospital admission which we were very grateful for.

The customer experience was professional from beginning to end
Extremely happy with our roof clean and coating.. The roof looks like new

Reply from Kingdom Coatings
The work was carried out with very little disruption. The cleaning of the roof is a messy job but it was all protected and tidied up. The painting was done with no mess either. End product looks good and certainly stands out from the other houses in the street.

Tiles left on the flat roof and moss did not come back and fix a tile

From the initial visit from a very polite, well dressed salesperson, who was new to the job, my wife was impressed with the talk and agreed to having our bungalow surveyed without obligation. The surveyor, Colin arrived and talked us through the process to protect our Roof. Our external walls were not needing any work done. The quote to carry out the work in two separate working days turned out to be a no brainer with a 10 year warranty covering the work.
Ian and James arrived to carry out the work over two days. We were most impressed on the care taken to protect ALL areas liable to be affected once the roof moss was cleared off. The guys worked through the day, Ian nursing toothache cleaning the roof and subsequently applying the anti-fungicide. The building, gutters and surrounding area were then cleaned and all the debris was removed.
One week later, the lads returned to point all areas on the roof, replacing any cracked or damaged tiles.
Later that day Ian sprayed the coating across the whole roofing area. Two coats were applied. Again, before the lads left after another full days hard graft, they made the area as tidy as if they had never been there, ensuring the gutter were cleaned out and the surrounding soffits, facias and walls were cleaned of splashes.
I was taking numerous pictures of progress throughout their visits to the point that Ian was about to ask me for appearance money. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with the finished roof.
We have since had several neighbours asking about who did the work and were all very complimentary about the finished article. One neighbour thought it was a newly tiled roof.
To sum up, we would recommend Kingdom Coatings to friends and neighbours to carry out similar work on their properties.
Last week an agent from the company called to review the standard of work carried out and to ascertain that we were happy. I think he got the message from us.
Needless to say, he went away a Happy Bunny!.

Great job and lovely guys. The house was looking tiered and dirty but after the walls were washed down and painted the house looks great. I would recommend this company for a job well done and the after care service

Great Wall coating! The guys who did the work were helpful and respectful. The job was done professionally and tidily. Communication was good and the guys arrived timeously. Reasonably priced work which came with 10 year warranty - overall good experience.

The company does a great job but your customer service is very poor as reps do not phone back to customers with information when they say they will . You need to vastly improve your customer experience it is very poor and off putting. Other than that 5 star rating.
