Great job by very hard working team. The roof was cleaned on day 1 and the coating applied on a second visit, by a polite team of two who worked tirelessly without any requirements other than a source... See more

My first experience of this outfit was their persistent cold calling, and the pushy attitude of the callers......we even had one in the back garden , "oh, you didn't answer the door" he said !
Then, my elderly neighbours had this lot in to wash his roof, (yes, really) and spray it, blasting away at pantiles with an industrial jet wash. Needless to say, no attempt at all to protect my property from the clouds of muck and filth, which coated my house, and took literally weeks to remove.
Their staff attitude best described as offhand and snotty, almost as if, perish the thought, they get neighbours complaining every time they do this?
No attempt made to restore my property other than a vague gesture to the big jet washer, eminently unsuitable for harling pebble dash and vented hardwood doors and windows.......we watched them depart with the same relief Ukrainians must watch the Russians retreating.
Next experience was ,yes, my elderly neighbours had them back, this time, to spray paint the walls!
Awakened before eight a m by a Kingdom employee stomping around my garden bellowing into his phone, followed by the infamous jet washer, on my property, without any permission, spraying some foam like chemical, most of which was wind blown onto our house. When I went to ask w t f they were doing , I was told "oh, we've washed your bins for free". Told them to get off my property, and and was described as not a happy chappy.
They returned a couple of months later with the spray paint and told my wife they'd be on our property to paint my neighbours '. On being told to keep off, there being no attempt to screen or protect our house from over spray, their attitude left much to be desired, as can be imagined, and one was straight on the phone to his boss, presumably getting in first, accusing my wife of shouting and bawling at them.
They did keep off, largely because I feel they must be in this situation regularly, and probably because they had clocked our security cameras.
I've seen other companies online who do similar work, using the slogan We paint YOUR house, not your neighbours......and making much of screening off adjoining property with plastic sheeting and tarpaulin, and making a feature of cleaning up, and site restitution. This firm, (apart from their Old School double glazing style high pressure salesmanship,) seems, in my experience of them ,to make little or no attempt to protect or respect neighbouring property, from over spray, be that dirt, foam, paint , or whatever they're using.
So, no, Kingdom Coatings of Sterling Scotland ,I am indeed not a happy chappy. To put it mildly.

Having had the honour of two different teams in the two stages of our house wall covering by Kingdom Coatings, we must highly commend both of them for carrying out their respective tasks admirably!
After their very prompt arrival (well before the set time) their relevant kit, was immediately set out set out for easy access. Great to say, both crews were hard at it straight away with their own synchronised rhythm, which in fact is a true credit to your business. Not forgetting their friendliness and assistance when any queries or questions came to light.
We must applaud them, and yourselves for your expertise, professionalism and enthusiasm, from the job’s introduction, to its completion.
It will indeed, always be a pleasure to recommend Kingdom (wall) Coatings locally and further afield, when like improvements should come into conversation

Our experience began with a home visit from the Survey Manager, who was able to explain fully the Kingdom Coatings process. After examining our roof externally and from the loft she pointed out exactly what was wrong. We were impressed that this did not feel like a ‘hard sell’ but the opinion of an experienced professional. Within days, our installation team arrived to clean the roof, remove the loose pointing and apply a coating to deter future moss growth. They also identified the number of chipped or cracked tiles to be replaced. On the next available dry day they arrived back to replace the damaged tiles, re-point the ridge and apply two coats of the RENOTEC coating. As well as being thoroughly polite and helpful, they worked hard both days, cleaned and tidied-up and removed all rubbish. We are delighted with the end-product and would recommend Kingdom Coatings and their staff to anyone.

“Unfortunately, the roof cleaning on our neighbor’s property left a significant mess on our side, covering our white gravel path with muck and moss. It’s caused some friction with our neighbors, which has been really stressful for us. I hope the company can handle clean-up more carefully in the future.

While the team did eventually come back to handle the clean-up, they seemed to miss the mark on what was needed. Instead of actually removing the debris, they just tried to hose it deeper into the gravel. It felt like more of a quick fix than a real solution

My wife and are delighted with the cleaning and coating of our roof. From the outset every member of staff was very helpful in explaining the process of doing the job. The roof was cleaned the first day and coated the next in an efficient manner and everything was left clean and tidy. We have also been impressed with the after sales service and ensuring we were happy with the work .

Fantastic service, customer experience and quality of workmanship. The first point of contact survey by Richard was clear and straightforward. The subsequent appointments scheduling by Grant was very accommodating. But most of all, the actual roof treatment work by Sammy and team was outstanding - very efficient, great work ethic, extremely courteous and took pride in their work. An excellent end-to-end experience.

The guys doing the work were polite and respectful of our home and garden, making sure everything was covered and out the way. ( especially for the washing part.)
Happy with the end result- best roof in our street!

Very efficient and organised company. They turn up as promised and do a great job. Tidy up well afterwards too. They don't 'hang about' and just get on with it.

Had a "survey" for a roof coating at my house that turned out to be more of a sales pitch which I was told was "supposed to last an hour". Had to bring it to an end before that as I was working from home. The starting figure quoted of over £7k for a smallish detached house went down to £3.5k. Didn't go ahead with it. All I wanted was a ballpark figure to compare with others I'd been given over the phone. Was reminiscent of a 80s double glazing salesman visit. Was also told by the salesman that he wasn't on commission. Yes really.

Extremely efficient service at all levels. Clear communication throughout with the main office and the guys involved with the actual work worked tirelessly on two different dates and with 2 different sets of workmen. Very tidy.
The overall package is pricey but it beats having to replace a roof.

Update 30-03-2025.
Kingdom want me to call them to discuss my review, I will not. I do not want anything to do with them. You are worried about your "reputation", READ WHAT YOUR GUYS DID ! Request the information you want via the secure/private response function on Trustpilot, I can then show Trustpilot it is a valid review by providing the full address. I am not prepared to give my or my neighbour's address on a public forum. I am happy to provide it to Trustpilot direct if they wanted it ? I will however say the job was over two days (25th and 26th March 2026), and in Crail, Fife, Scotland. Kingdom will be able to track the job down with this information. I am happy to provide Trustpilot photos of my neighbour's power washed roof as proof ?
My review is below.
From their website:
“We will put down covers to protect your plants, pathways and any garden furniture.”
Our house with cream/sand coloured harling, is very close to our neighbours’ house with a red concrete tile roof.
a) We were not notified the roof of our neighbours’ house was going to be power washed.
They put NO covers down (they did nothing whatsoever) to protect:
b) Our or our neighbours’ plants between the two houses.
c) Our pathway between the two houses.
d) My birdfeeders on my side of the fence.
e) Our cream/sand coloured harling.
f) The windows on our house or conservatory.
g) They painted woodwork on our house.
While he was power washing our neighbours’ roof on our side, the grit and mess was shooting against the windows of our house and conservatory with force. As I said, the two houses are close to each other. They made a huge red muddy mess on the cream/sand coloured harling and windows of our house. When I went over to complain, they just said they will clean it up. I had no say in the matter i.e. get them to stop or first protect our house.
We were having lunch when there was a loud hammering sound on the window on the side of our neighbours’ house, of our dining room. When I looked, I saw the guy who was earlier on the roof power washing, shoot that powerful force of water directly at our window while standing in our neighbours’ garden ! He must have seen I saw him. When I confronted him about it, he denied he did it. He took a nozzle out of his pocket and claimed it was the one they use for the roof and the one on the hose at that moment, was a spray that is so soft, I would not feel it if I had my hand in front of it. He must have changed the nozzle quickly when he thought I was going to come out.
Without first asking, there was a guy on our side of the fence power washing the windows and wall of our house. I saw him pointing the washer upwards on one of the windows which has a vent. That means, he was shooting water up into the vent, into the timber frame of the window! I went out to confront him, I had to tell him what he was doing and that I was not happy about it. By the confused look on his face, I realised I was wasting my time. I then complained to the guy in charge. The option he gave me was they can stop and leave the wall and windows in that state, or carry on. They had made such a mess, I was left with no choice but to let them carry on.
Here is how they "clean" windows they messed up afterwards. They power wash with a spray nozzle, put the power washer down. Then using a bare hand they wipe SOME parts of the windows. We ended up with smeared windows !
The painted woodwork looks like they did not even bother to clean it. There are some parts on our side they missed washing away their mess.
We are however not going to ask these cowboys back to clean up after themselves, because we do NOT want our painted woodwork, windows or harling, to be power washed. When I was complaining to the guy in charge, he told me he has a lot of experience with dealing with neighbours. That statement and their behaviour, showed me I wanted nothing to do with these cowboys.
We are dreading when they come back to spray paint our house, sorry, our neighbours; roof. I suggest to stay away from these cowboys, you risk making your neighbour angry at you. Your neighbours will end up cleaning up after these cowboys, thanks to you.
I spoke to my neighbour afterwards, he told me why it was urgent to get this “work” done to their roof. Read these two reviews on Trutpilot, it could have been my neighbour who wrote them except, he fell for it hook line and sinker. My advice, rather consult a roofer.

The team that was responsible for doing our roof ( Damien) was really responsible for making sure there was no mess at all, everything was tidied up and all in all a great experience.

The office staff were not great at contacting us back sometimes. The girl in the office did her best and was always polite and professional. The painting crew were very helpful well informed and able to advise us on any issues we had. They worked well and took very little time for breaks.

I'll start at the beginning..Scott who came to talk to us about the roof was lovely he was very professional very kind n knowledgeable n he was very respectful. There was a bit of a rush to make a decision on whether to go w them or not but we still had time to figure things out in terms of reviews n researching them...we had a bad weather spell so they couldn't come which is understandable but when we were trying to get a hold of someone to get an update when the weather was turning for the better the guys who dealt w schedules when they'd come wouldn't ever call back so eventually I had to explain it at the reception that id really need the cb n i dont like to be that way but i had to here...then the guys came to do the work n they were top notch absolutely fantastic, fast working hard working n very professional they made sure we were happy w the work entirely, they cleaned up after themselves....I mean they didn't even take anything to drink when offered...it was just work work work n it was all done in a day which was so impressive...so absolutely I would recommend them id just get the guys in the office a small mark down for not calling back when we called 3 times n were told wed get a cb n didn't until I complained...but in general they were all lovely from start to end n very good at their work
